Wow, just wow. Maybe we were just hungry, but this place was terrific!…read more My daughter is vegan and gluten free, but they had a bowl that she really loved! I had a delicious grilled cheese sandwich, not greasy, that is served with a nice-sized bowl of greens and your choice of dressing. Plus you get a side, chosen from among the day's list - I enjoyed the lemon slaw. Not very lemony, but definitely not bogged down with mayo so I dumped it into my salad! Good freshly made food at decent prices. Totally recommend!

I'm torn between giving Trillium Farm to Table a 4 or 5 star…read more I'll err on the side of giving them the 5 star because I got a great sense of the team's passion while we were there yesterday, as well as our food. Our food was fantastic! I hadn't had lamb out much in the last year and they did it up super delicious in the pita! Yes! It was so flavorful and juicy. Yum! My husband had the same and agreed. My daughter had the steak wrap and said it was fantastic too. We all had the spicy slaw and thought it was superb. Now, what we didn't like was that as first time guests, we couldn't figure out what to do for a minute or so, as there's nothing immediately pointing you to the 'on wall' menu, which is toward the back of the place, past the cashier. Three of us standing there to look at the menu was blocking others from going out back to the patio to eat (plates and drinks in their hands). It wasn't crowded for a Saturday afternoon but it was still noisy. We cleaned up after ourselves, though we still tipped. I hadn't noticed the bin for dirty dishes on the side counter when I got us silverware and straws. Next time I won't tip. It's quite self serve. Order and pickup from the same counter. I would recommend they work on a customer foot path 'flow.' They could hire a hostess or greeter, or perhaps provide better signage on where to go and what to do, similar to 'Five Guys' restaurants.

The food is always great, but what I really love about this place is the people. Everyone is genuinely friendly and always seems so appreciative of your business. There's just an old-school New England/New Hampshire wholesomeness to the place that you don't find everywhere anymore. This trip we had the Turkey Thanksgiving sandwich with gravy on the side and the pastrami on a sub roll with Swiss and deli mustard. Both were absolutely fantastic. Washed it all down with an RC Cola, which was a fun surprise because you almost never see RC anymore! Great food, great people, and the kind of local place you actually look forward to coming back to. It's an annual tradition for us now, and I have a feeling it will continue to be one for many years to come.

I asked the gentleman at the counter if they make a North Shore three-way. He confidently replied,…read more"Sure do!" What arrived was an absolute abomination. The roast beef was salted like deli cold cuts and wasn't rare at all, the barbecue sauce wasn't James River--it was some house-made substitute--and it wasn't even served on a buttered grilled onion roll. Somehow they still called it a North Shore three-way. I'm sorry, but if it doesn't have James River sauce and isn't on a buttered grilled onion roll, it's not a North Shore three-way. That's just a roast beef sandwich having an identity crisis. And for reasons known only to the gods, it cost $19.74. Needless to say, I won't be going back. If you're going to charge twenty bucks for a North Shore three-way, at least make an actual North Shore three-way.

My husband enjoyed his hot coffee, and we shared two sandwiches (so we could each taste both). We got the chicken panini, and the turkey maple on sourdough. Both were yummy! I especially thought the chicken was good because the meat was moist and thick. We also got desserts (because it was a family member's birthday and they love chocolate and pumpkin). And I never eat donuts but wanted to try the cider donuts. Yum! So light and delicious! I also got a bottle of the New Hampshire Squamscot root beer, and found it unique and refreshing. I would order it again, though I usually don't drink soda. This soda wasn't too bubbly, which is why I liked it.

The place is geared for takeout which is order & pickup at the counter or online ordering. The checked linoleum floor area is wide open with some kids toys, sofa & coffee table in the corner, basically a good sized standing area inside. I stopped by Original Thai for pickup recently. I ordered the Green Curry with Tofu & Veggies ($12.95 plus tax), which was ready to go in about 10 minutes after ordering. I enjoyed my food at the park nearby since the parking in front on the street is very limited (15 minute). The Green Curry was milky and had a mild spicy taste with a mix of firm tofu. red peppers, bamboo shoots, zucchini, cabbage, baby corn, carrots, green beans, & basil, served with soft white rice in a separate container. This curry dish was pretty good and filling enough for a good takeout dinner.

We were lucky to arrive without a reservation when we did because it quickly filled up with customers. The place is somewhat small and has an open kitchen concept. Outdoor seating is also available when weather permits. Please note that due to its size, they have only one unisex bathroom available. We started with the Gouda Tot Clam Dip. The picture posted on their website shows six potato tots, yet our serving came with four. It was pleasant and tasty. For my main course, I ordered the Peach Glazed Pork. The dish had a nice presentation. I found the pork to be drier than I would have expected, but it was still edible. I guess I had higher expectations. Despite a few minor disappointments, this is a charming local restaurant that is worth a visit, especially if you're in the area.
