There was far too much wrap and not enough chicken/caesar salad. You would think it would come with a side or chips for that price and if not, it better be filling. This was my first time here and I will not be coming back at this value. If I am craving a chicken caesar, I will drive to THOP or Pressed. THOP has a much bigger, more filling chicken caesar for slightly cheaper and Pressed offers a larger wrap that comes with a side pasta salad for a dollar more. read more

Stopping in for smoothies, my wife and I quickly realized that this self professed juice bar served a plethora of other fare, including salads, grain bowls, and wraps. We will need to return for a full lunch because the Grasshopper smoothies that we got were out of this world--strong chocolaty mint flavor that punched powerfully at the taste buds, even during the final labored straw sips. I had kale added to mine, which I think only improved the smoothie's thick texture. I will attempt to replicate Live Juice's Grasshopper in my home blender, but doubt that I will be able to jump as high. read more

I really like the idea of a juice bar as an addition to Concord Main Street, and the ambiance inside is really nice. That said, I ordered a beet treat juice that wasn't good. I've had juices of this combination before (beets, carrots, apple, lemon, orange, ginger), and this one was 90% beets and the beets tasted like they hadn't been washed thoroughly and/or peeled. The juice had a very dirty aftertaste and I had trouble tasting the sweeter ingredients like the apple, orange, or ginger at all. They also added ice to the juice, which isn't a huge deal, but for $7 I want every ounce I paid for! read more

Had the seasonal shrimp salad special which was pricey $14 but well worth it given the freshness and portion size. I must admit, I was impressed with this establishment. The restaurant has a nice open environment that is quite welcoming. The menu is quite easy to follow and that staff was quite helpful. I got a steak salad that was honestly one of the best salads I've had in New Hampshire. They make sure the dressing is evenly spread throughout and the salad was quite fresh. The steak itself didn't blow me away, but I didn't go there for meat. I also ordered a juice. I went with the hardcore. I juice/ smoothie at home and knew what I was going to get wasn't going to be what I was use to. I do have to agree with another poster that the hardcore was a bit watery and primarily cucumber based. My wife's lovers smoothie was fantastic. Perhaps next time I will go with a smoothie. I was slightly shocked at the cost of our meal. A smoothie, juice, and two salads was about $40.00. That seemed a bit high to me. All in all this is worth the trip. I ordered a steak salad with mixed greens, tomato, mozzarella balls, cucumber, red onion, and opted for sesame ginger dressing. It was yum! My partner and I stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. She had a chicken wrap, which she said was delicious, full of fresh greens and veggies. I had a fall salad special, which featured butternut squash, nice plump unsweetened dried cranberries and goat cheese with a light apple cider vinaigrette. Unfortunately, it also contained chicken. Chicken was not listed in the ingredients. I'm a vegetarian. As I held up one of the little buggers on my fork, my wife tried to convince me it was tofu. It was not tofu, not even Tofurkey. This was not a stray bird that escaped from the Perdue Farm and wandered into my salad. It was loaded with them. Icky. One star off, and I think that's generous. When I went up to the counter to mention the error and to order a couple of smoothies for dessert, I was blatantly ignored. At first I thought it was a division of labor thing, salad people here, smoothie people there. But no, the line continued to move somehow around me. Even after my wife came and stood with me, no service. Did I detect homophobia? Granted I'm from Massachusetts, the land of the PC and the first in the country to legalize gay marriage. Live Juice couldn't be in a better location for Concord, New Hampshire. It's in the middle of everything. I've been here twice, and both times have been very positive. Greeted by friendly staff, and the beautiful, modern shop totally reels you in. The menu is filled with salads with endless toppings, juices (obviously), smoothies, soups, etc. Prices (6-8 bucks for a juice) are suited for the quality. Which undoubtedly is high (the quality). The only negative thing I have to point out is that their POS system is giving them some trouble. My ticket didn't come up and I was left there waiting while everyone was out back. I'm patient, however. I knew something was wrong with the system seeing as it gave the customer ahead of me a problem as well. So, I didn't mind waiting.
