I think this is the only restaurant in Keremeos now and that is really unfortunate. When we're travelling we usually like to stop in Keremeos for breakfast but I think that we'll have to change our routine now. They were very busy but I think that is because there are no options. Service was okay. Food was disgusting. I had a basic breakfast of bacon and eggs. The hashed brown potatoes were the worst that I've ever had. They were mushy and tasted rancid. The bacon was tough and tasteless. I left most of my breakfast on the plate. It was baad. My husband's breakfast was no better. Would definitely not return. read more

This is a really decent restaurant. We came here for breakfast after a night of camping down the road. You seat yourself anywhere you can, service is prompt and the waitress never stopped. She was a little short and curt but she was the only one working the floor. Whatever. The food came out really fast. The three of us had omelets (two "The Kitchen Sink" and one ham and cheese"). Not gourmet by any means but it filled the void; your classic greasy spoon style cooking. Coffee was hot enough and wasn't burnt. The restaurant is clean, washrooms are clean (watch out though because the water is scalding hot), and the ambiance is rustic... Lots to look at. For what it's worth this is a decent breakfast, a solid hangover breakfast, and worth the price. I'd try it again. read more

We ate there and although the service was good the food wasn't very good. The décor leaves something to be desired, with an over abundance of dusty taxidermy such as a stuffed owl, fish, raven, weasel, snake, pheasant, bird, raccoon, and a turkey. Really gross. I would call the style of this restaurant an attempt at home cooking, but with pressed meat. With our roast (which was deli style sliced, pressed meat) the vegetable was a quarter of a "squash". (looked like a slice of someone's old pumpkin boiled and put on our plate, skin and all!). Two stars is being generous. read more

If you would like bad service, cold coffee that was previously served in a thermos to other customers and a server that really needs some social skills, this is the restaurant for you!! Server treated myself and my guests in a very inappropriate manner, literally threw menus and coffee spoons at us, then had the audacity to laugh when we became fed up and walked out. I have worked in the service industry for years and I understand when you have a bad day. However, I would NEVER treat customers the way she treated us. read more

Cranky service. Lousy food. Save yourself the misery and go to the K Mountain cafe instead. The food is better there and you won't be treated like an inconvenience. Apparently the Ranch was recently sold to a new owner so hopefully it will improve. There's nowhere to go but up. read more

This restaraunt has the worst reputation in town do NOT go here! The sign says seat yourself we were a party of 6 and there was only 1 table that fit us, the server cleaned every table but ours. While we waited quietly and patiently for her to come by, she then yelled at us from a different table that she has to clean it. She was very out of her way rude glaring at us and giving us dirty looks. She then came and very rudely complained that we shouldn't have sat down because she can't wipe the table with us there (we all sat away from the table to give her well enough space) as she was wiping the table down she purposely flung the food into my lap! My sister and I looked at each other in complete shock! This lady put our clean coffee mugs rim down on the dirty table then She left the last people's coffee thermos for us it was cold and old! She slammed our menus down then grabbed spoons for the mugs and slammed down those as well. The final straw for us to walk out was a lovely server whom I wish was helping us had asked if we would like fresh coffee when we asked yes please this one is cold and old and can we have new mugs the rude server yelled across the whole restaraunt for all customers to hear that we already have the thermos on our table and we do not need more! The nice young lady then looked extremely akward and didn't know what to do, so my sister let her know she is very kind and this isn't her fault my husband then stood up and said we are leaving we did nothing to deserve this treatment!
