This is a highly recommended traditional and authentic Italian restaurant. I was recommended by locals when I was visiting in town this fall. Without reservation on a weekday evening was busy already around 6pm. They gave me a buzzer. Luckily the wait was not too long. The bread was very fresh, and it was still warm. The butter was blended with herbs. The server mentioned the chef's special for the day was the seafood and prosciutto pasta. They offered to add parmesan and dry chilli flakes on top. Needless to say, it was so yummy! To conclude a meal, dessert is a must. I had the tiramisu. The appearance had a twist. The lady finger was placed diagonally on top of the cake. The cake was nice although nothing out of the ordinary. It was worth trying. There are a few store front free parking. It is not too far from the city centre. read more

One of the better restaurants in town, and has held up pretty well over the last two plus decades. Came with a party of 8 and had to do a 5pm reservation as they only take early reservations. Server was great with answering menu questions for those in our party with gluten allergies. Overall the ordering experience and accuracy of what came out of the kitchen were great, but drink refills and attentiveness after our entrées arrived really lagged. Food quality was a mixed bag. My chicken Parmesan was delicious and they were able to make my side the fettuccine Alfredo but it was not very tasty. Those who had the spaghetti and meatballs felt it was okay but not incredible. The asparagus chicken and spaghetti Osoyoos dishes got the best reviews from our table for having delicious fancy-restaurant flavor. read more

The service is great but the food is over the top !! Washed down with local wine from Oliver, book in advance is my only add on.

First off, let me state that I'm not from here, we were visiting a friend in Oliver. Went here for my wife's birthday. Last time our friend had a so so experience, but my wife wanted a nice steak and it was one of the few restaurants that had it on the menu. So she was willing to give it another shot. Good thing we did. The restaurant was spacious and not noisy. Perfect for a relaxing dinner and conversation. Our server was friendly and provided advice on menu items when asked. We even got complimentary fresh bread and butter to start ...twice (some restaurants in Vancouver have stoped this to save on money and wastage)! Our friend ordered a chicken dish, me the Linguini Supremo and my wife ordered her steak. All dishes were excellently prepared and the portions were substantial. The meats were cooked just right, pasta was al dente and my dish had plenty of scallops and smoked salmon. All in all a great birthday dinner! We'll definitely come here again and my friend's opinion has changed and Campo Marina is back on her list of restaurants to go to when she wants to treat herself to a night out. read more

We've been vacationing in Osoyoos for 11 years but always skip Campo as they don't take reservations. When we finally were able to make a reservation, we jumped at the chance to see what the hoopla was about. We were gravely disappointed. We arrived at 5:30pm and were sat a few minutes afterwards. We heard the lasagna and chicken parmesan were amazing so we ordered that. Then we waited 50 minutes for our entrees with little to no communication on why it was taking so long. We overheard another server say that there were multiple parties of 8 and 9 so the kitchen was slammed. When we received our meals, the most we could say was that the quality was adequate. The bright spot was Kylie as she was very kind and cordial, but again, she could have communicated this to us. That will be our very last experience with Campo Marina. read more

It was like an old school Italian restaurant. There were five of us and we were all happy with our meals. I notice there are a number of complaints about the service. I have to say our server was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, helpful, made suggestions, was attentive, didn't rush us...... Service was top notch. Our food was fine. It was probably nothing I would go on and rave about but it was good. I had lasanga and it was pipping hot, cheese and really tasty. Those who had cocktails were happy with them. So all and all, I would absolutely recommend and I would go back. read more

It's unfortunate that our group of 6 ladies were unable to sit together even though we had a reservation prearranged. When we all sat in a booth together we were embarrassed by the managers aggressive attitude and refusal to allow us to sit together. We did not even have a chance to get settled before we were refused service because we sat in the booth together. Highly unprofessional of the staff to embarrass our group and had us leave without even trying to accommodate us. Quite disgraceful. Delicious pasta, yummy drinks, and friendly service. We waited for a table for two for about 45 minutes... there's lots of seating but it was a very full house! Must be a popular place in town. We had a Moscow mule and a white sangria while we waited in the comfy lounge, both were super tasty. The old jazz they were playing was really classy. We were seated at a clean booth with bread and made our orders. We had the Fettuccine du Chef (mushrooms and smoked salmon) and Petti di Pollo Parmigiana (chicken with mozzarella, side of spaghetti). Thought I would give this another shot, 4 years later.....It was so apparent that the server wanted to flip her tables. Her service was just brutal, we got the bill before we finished and it was just a bad experience. The food is very average here, don't really know what all the fuss is about, especially for a $23 spaghetti and meat sauce!? That's the most I have seen pricing wise in BC. With spag being the biggest margin item on the menu, you can imagine what everything else cost. FYI, the plate is not supposed to arrive with a cup of water in it, you have to let the noodles steam off before adding sauce. No need to go back, 3 of us and it was over $175 with drinks. A $23 spaghetti better have a happy ending at the end or come right for Italy. Clearly the sauce is from Gordon's and not home made. read more

It advertised to have gluten-free options but all they have is gluten-free pasta with tomato sauce. It's a little depressing. Menu is kinda small and consists of chicken breast,veal,or pasta. If you have restrictions on your diet, try Diamonds or somewhere else in the area. But... the food is pretty awesome. My gluten-free sister-in-law says it was the best pasta she's had. I inhaled my veal parmigiana. My husband loved his beef stroganoff. My toddler rolled her eyes back while eating her pasta and won't stop doing her happy dance. A welcoming Italian gem, Campo Marina is a great place to have dinner with great people. The building is a small rustic villa that is a reminiscent of the country side of Italy. Upon entering, the garlic fragrance and sight of a busy restaurant let's you know Campo Marina is the best local restaurant in Osoyoos. An enjoyable head waitress served us with the exception of being flabbergasted that I got an Americano, the aperitif, since she thought I was a kid who couldn't legally drink, though the legal age is 19 in BC, I'm 22. The fresh baked bread was slightly cold, but the butter with chives was fantastic. The butter had a smooth texture and gave the bread a small kick and bite. That accompanied with garlic shrimp started the meal off pleasantly. There might have been too much oil and garlic as the shrimp bathed in it, so it didn't look as refined, but it tasted sublime. My main course was a big let down. There's a saying that if you want to try new foods, you should order something different, but I think you can still order normal sounding dishes, and the restaurant should make the dish their own by putting a spin, or revamping it somehow. They didn't with my dish. It was just a boring spaghetti in bolognese. Store bought noodles not quite aldente and the bolognese was alright. The portions value was pretty good for the price overall, but no wow factor. Still, Campo Marina is the place to try around Osoyoos. There's almost no competition around town that can beat this little Italian gem. read more

Searched for a place to eat in Osoyoos as many places are closed due to COVID. Decided to try this restaurant with my family while here on holiday and for Italian food, I would say the portion sizes were good and the food was very good. We were able to get in right away without a reservation even with the place being quite full. Our waitress was friendly and I would visit again. read more

The reason why I'm giving this place is 4 stars because of the wait time. I believe this place has lots of potential. They have an entire separate area and patio just for waiting area space rather than seating their guest. My fiancé and I shared an appetizer of garlic prawns which were quite tasteful. We also shared a half order of the chicken fettuccine, which was very tasteful and had the right amount of sauce. Once seated we had great service and our waiter made some helpful decisions regarding the drinks. Their drinks are a bit on the stronger side which is okay since we were taking a cab home. She also made some suggestions on the bottle of wine we ordered which turned out to be a good one. I also love the option to take the wine home if you don't finish it. Over all, I would definitely suggest this place to one of my friends and family and come back again. read more

Homemade gnocchi in marinara sauce with spinach, goat cheese, and a balsamic reduction drizzle. Mmm, so delicious! So disappointing! First off, with Covid 19 all the waitresses and help were wearing masks except for the gentleman who greets you. He was not wearing a mask and walked around the restaurant. Made us very uncomfortable. Should have been setting an example for the others. Ordered a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were frozen, small, and thawed but soft and limp. Ceasar Salad was poor to average. The chicken Parmesan was horrible, barely edible. Rubbery with no sauce at all, we asked for a bit of sauce and the waitress told us it would be an extra $1.50! On our first night in town, I consulted the Osoyoos visitors guide for a restaurant recommendation. Campo Marina was described as "voted the most popular restaurant in the South Okanagan." We called ahead, but were told that they only take walk ins. We didn't mind waiting when we arrived since the restaurant came with such accolades. When we were seated we ordered a basic pasta with olive oil and garlic and a three dish sampler with a baked cannelloni, fettuccine alfredo, and a mushroom gnocchi. We felt like we were waiting for a really long time and then a couple that were seated after use called over the busser to express their discontentment pointing at their watches saying they'd been waiting over an hour. Our food came out shortly thereafter, as did theirs. Our waitress stopped by their table and said, "Are you happy now?" Yikes! I felt really uncomfortable by the horrible service. She actually said the same thing to them two other times when she came by. As we were eating we heard another table also loudly complaining about how long they had been waiting. Clearly, service is an issue here. The food was okay. I'd pass on the fettuccine alfredo and the mushroom gnocchi, but the cannelloni was quite tasty. However, that evening and into the next morning I was super thirsty, a sure sign that there was A LOT of salt in our dinner. read more

I'm going to base this on the fact that your option in Osoyoos are VERY limited. The food was a step up from a main chain Resturant like Mario's, Olive Garden, Boston Pizza and The Old Spaghetti Factory. The service was timely and knowledgeable. With a great knowledge of the wines in the area and how they would interact with the food. The food itself was good. Nothing special but I found that some of the appetizers could've been larger. The main dishes were delightful, with large portions. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Osoyoos I highly recommend this restaurant. This spot was amazing! You definitely have to make a reservation ahead of time or your going to be waiting over an hour. You can drink on the patio while you wait but probably not the best idea unless your not driving. We had the House garden salad, the Chef Linguine with the smoked salmon pasta to share, and then for dessert I had tiramisu and hubs had the apple crumble. Not sure what all the hype is about. They only take reservations for the early dinner seating. We showed up at 7:00 on a busy summer night and waited about a half an hour, which was fine as they have a lovely patio where you can enjoy a drink before dinner. The restaurant interior is nothing to write home about with mostly "family-friendly" large booths. If you're looking for a more romantic or intimate dining experience, go elsewhere. They were out of several dishes by the time we ordered around 7:30. This place seems pretty popular so not sure why they would run out of food. Our two pasta dishes were mediocre and the alfredo sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. Pasta was not cooked properly as the noodles were stuck to each other. Very disappointing. On a prior trip to Osoyoos two years ago, we had dinner at Convivia Bistro and it was far superior to Campo. Would definitely recommend going there over Campo. read more

This restaurant was walking distance away from our hotel in Osoyoos. It wasn't the peak of tourist season in Osoyoos yet, but when we entered this restaurant it was bumpin. It was so busy and we luckily got the last reservation for the night since they close at 9pm. Our waitress was great and very informative. She topped up our bread basket continuously because we were pretty hungry. The bread was soft on the inside and crunch on the outside. For my main, I ordered the Chicken Marsala with a garlic, olive oil and parmesan pasta. It was delicious and the servings were huge! Not bad for a $20-24 entre. There was two breaded and deep fried chicken breasts that were crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. The flavour of the cream sauce was amazing with mushrooms, wine and ton of garlic and a ton of cheese added on top. Overall, would have to say this will be one of my go to spots in Osoyoos. read more

Our most recent visit to Campo was better than I even remember. All of the dishes were incredible. Salads, prawns, pastas~ everything hit it mark. Perfectly executed, fresh, simple and so enjoyable. I had dinner here with others and we were all pleased. The food and service were good and we were seated immediately. The owner mans the welcome point and takes care to seat crowds by moving tables. He had a table that worked for us and took care of us quickly. The food is mostly Italian, though they had baby back ribs that were decreed excellent. I had a pasta with prosciutto and a cream sauce that was tasty. Earlier today we had visited the Moon Curser winery here and had tasted a couple of the wines. We went there because a few nights ago we had been recommended a Syrah from there which was delicious. Tonight we chose their Border Vines red wine which is a mixture of several different grapes. It was equally as good as the Syrah of a few days ago. Dessert was a nectarine cobbler with whipped cream that we split. I suppose they were local as this is a great fruit and grape growing area. The crowd was older and appeared to be having fun. To add to the value, the restaurant was right across the street from our Best Western Hotel on Main Street. We could have walked, but didn't. If were to find myself back in Osoyoos, which is pretty unlikely I suspect, I would eat here again. Based on other Yelp reviews there is a dearth of good restaurants in Osoyoos, but this is one you can be confident is way more than adequate. read more

Due to covid it was only curbside pickup so I can't comment on the interior. The food was phenomenal! We ordered a Caesar salad, chicken Marsala and lasagna. It was delicious!
