This was a destination lunch and was chosen by the leader. There were 10 of us and we made reservations to ensure one long table. When we arrived the table was ready for us. The patio looked really nice as it is nestled between 2 buildings and looked to be very cool temperature wise as it was 34c at the time we arrived. Jugs of iced cold water were on the table. Drink orders were taken quickly and served up quickly. As we were couples none of us sat together to make orders more difficult when it came to doing the bills but she did a great job. I cannot recall all of the orders, interesting there was no soup. At 34c soup was not needed. The place was air conditioned and two of the ladies went and got jackets, the rest of us were fine. This was a standard looking pub with the bar between the pub and lounge/restaurant. Two people had the ghetto burger, 2 had the quesadillas pulled pork, I had the special chilli chicken bites. The portion was small coming on a narrow plate and definitely not hot. The burgers looked great and there were no complaints. The fettuccine was served in two bowls as they did not have a big enough bowl to put all of it in. To me it doesn't rate more than three stars. read more

The day bartender, Catlin, is vey rude. Not very attentive and seems distracted. She has been there too long and become conplacant. Seems like she does note want to be there. Time hire new staff. read more

Went to this place on weekend. Nice spot in a normally drive through town. One waitress and one cook this visit. Was ok but fish and chips was the smallest and toughest pieces of fish I have ever had! Was either still frozen or so stale it could break a tooth. Did not eat fish but fries and coleslaw were good. Paid full price and hope place gets better next season?! I would avoid? The next towns have better places.....on average. read more

My husband and I are in town visiting his parents and decided to stop in for a bite to eat and a drink. Love the atmosphere! We hit all day happy hour, yay! Had some appies, calamari and WTF fries(waffle fries with cheese and onions as well as chicken fingers and salad. The salad was nice and fresh and all the deep fried foods were hot but not greasy. I don't know if all my riding family knows this or not...but many of us who ride motorbikes Love(d) Wrong Turn Tavern in Keremeos. I ABSOLUTELY Loved that place. Unfortunately, it was sold in May of 2021. The new owner is 24 or so and not a great human. We had purchased a gift cert for the restaurant 6 months ago (beginning of 2021) that was valid until " forever", and we took it there on our next visit. We were told to "get our $50 back from Liza" (previous owner...and wonderful woman!) Um, what? That's not how gift certificates work, sir. Today, June 26, the best hamburger/pub cook in the Okanagan quit because of poor treatment and lack of respect from Adam....the new owner!!! Will not go again. Will not recommend. Well, unless/until this young man learns how to run a business properly and treat staff and customers with respect. Yelp is asking me if I have more to add, but what I'd like to say now consists of inappropriate language, and I will keep that to myself. read more

Horrible service. #1 - Bartender snatched my cocktail away before I was finished with it - I'd finished my salad so I guess she thought I'd finished with my drink too? That alone would grant them a bad review, but sadly they messed up in other ways as well. -No one once checked in with me after bringing my food. Totally ignored. Wanted to order something but I did not exist. -They display bottles of wine behind the bar, but ask for a glass and they have BOXED wine to serve! In wine country! -The young man who took my drink order walked by 13 times while my card was overtly displayed to pay - wouldn't make eye contact. He was eating behind the bar, making sodas for himself...wow...when I mentioned this to the ONE other person behind the bar her response was, "He's just a busboy." Ummm...then why is he taking drink orders from behind the bar? Hanging out behind the bar? No apology for my lengthy wait to leave (I had to walk to the register to get some attention to pay). -I had only a salad (wanted something more but was ignored until I just wanted to get the heck out of there), but it was good. Food was awesome, we got the special of the day with an extra tender rib eye steak topped with prawns and crabmeat, seasonal veggies and fries and a burger and everything tasted just great! I stopped by the Tavern by accident the first time. Now it has become my go-to place to eat whenever business takes me to Keremeos. Great food and friendly service. I also enjoy that it has a bright open feeling unlike many dark dingy pubs you find in small towns. read more

The biggest problem with this place is inconsistency. The service... the business hours... The place is closed all winter along and, when it's open, the hours of operation seem totally random. I think they're open whenever they feel like being open. The proprietors appear to only be interested in making just enough revenue so they can shut down for half the year--which sucks for locals like me who are starved for a decent pub to go to. This place could be so great if only the management gave a damn. Instead, you'll likely get glacially slow service (took nearly 45 minutes for food to arrive), messed up food orders (fancy some bacon on your veggie burger?), and inattentive staff (can I please pay my bill... today?), That said, the food is really good when it eventually makes it to your table--if they managed to not screw up your order, that is. read more

Our favorite restaurant in keremeos so far... One of the best value i have seen in canada, good food, lots of it localy sourced, very cheap, a dinner for two with a super loaded natchos full of toppings and cheeZe and great bowl of chilli for 20$ including tips. Alcohol is also on the cheap although we did not try any. Service is very friendly, nice ambiance and decor, definitively the place to stop by if you're in Keremeos and looking for a great meal or a few beers! read more

Very hospitable pub atmosphere. Ate here a few times and it was always delicious pub food. Service was a bit slow, but understandably because the patio was packed and only one server. No problem though, because in the summer I couldn't think of a better place to be, siping some good beer and waiting on a great meal. A memorable place to check out. I ate lunch here for the first time today. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bar style menu features some mexican choices, so I ordered a burrito which they customized nicely to my vegetarian tastes. The food came quickly and was very good. The vegetables tasted fresh and the hots and colds were perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was so friendly I stayed for a drink after my meal. The beer selection was adequate for most tastes. Disappointing. Kids pizzas were greasy and undercooked (way too much cheese), mac and cheese wasn't touched by my child that eats everything, also cold. Veggie burger patty was good but completely crumbled. Fries way over cooked, service slow and the place in general was needing a good scrub. read more
