Hubby saw a sign posted inside about renovations in progress - not sure what that means as it was our first visit. We were seated right away and Nina took great care of us. Food came out quickly and was hot. Hubby's eggs were perfect over easy with plenty of toast to sop up the yolks. My omelette had fresh sautéed spinach, fresh tomatoes & feta. We both loved the home fries - real chunks of potato with tasty seasoning. Nina refilled our hot water for tea. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We will definitely stop back as we have family in the area.

The place has a large sign advising patrons not to come into the restaurant, and to wait in the small entrance area to be let inside. So we dutifully waited. And waited. The servers were milling around and had to have noticed us, but we got nothing. Even a wave or a "Just a minute" signal would have been great. But nope, just them walking right by us several times with no acknowledgment whatsoever. The kicker is that while the booths were full, the large bar was empty save for 3 people eating. The eggs are cooked right--set but not dry. The bacon actually tastes like bacon, not salt strips. The proper amount of ketchup is applied, exactly how it should be. Wrapped in tin foil, as God intended. No notes. I have a strong feeling I'm going to eat a lot of these. More importantly, this sandwich is a genuine upgrade to the Brattleboro food scene.
