Here you decide what you want, sit at your appointed table, and they come and take the order. They also have self serve beverages. Our waitress was sweet and very helpful. She wrote everything down exactly as we wanted it. Don't let the paper plates fool you, the food here is amazing! I had the French toast with a side of bacon and loaded home fries. Hubs had the thistle breakfast which was pancakes and egg with bacon. It comes with coffee or tea. He didn't realize he could have had sausage until later. This French toast was so good I'm still thinking of it the next day! Warm fruit compote with a warm maple cream with brioche bread! Yummmmmmm! Unfortunately, our most recent visit left us disappointed. We noticed that the portion sizes, particularly the salads, seem noticeably smaller than they used to be. In addition, some of the ingredients that made certain menu items special appear to have been removed. For example, the Mediterranean Chicken Salad used to include hummus, tahini, and pickled onions, which added great flavor and texture. During our recent visit, those ingredients were missing, making the salad feel less complete and less satisfying. We've also noticed that prices have continued to increase over the years. We understand that costs have gone up everywhere, but when lunch for two approaches $50, customers expect portions and ingredients that reflect that price point. Seeing smaller salads and fewer ingredients while paying more makes it feel like the value has declined. The food was still good, and we'll always appreciate the many positive experiences we've had at Panera. However, between the higher prices, smaller portions, and simplified ingredients, it feels like the overall experience isn't what it once was. We hope Panera listens to longtime customers and restores some of the quality, value, and attention to detail that made us regulars for so many years. The staff and service are always great.
