I wanted to try a few times before I reviewed. The interior is really nice and the staff is mostly very friendly although one waitress is obviously impatient under the friendly tones. Chop suey here was horrible. Tasteless and the pasta was soggy. My daughter in law tried one of their special soups with a cornish hen on top that she thought was pretty terrible. They do have a great salad bar and I've not had a bad experience with the fish n chips but most everything we have tried is bland although portions are huge. The bacon in my aunts blt was to smoky and to chewy. It's probably a great place for a drink or if you want a good salad but seems expensive (like everything right now)for what you get

Beautiful interior. Adjacent to a hotel. It would be great to come for drinks. Extensive menu. Very friendly staff. I had the French onion soup. It was pretty good but not much broth. Clam chowder was not authentic as it also had shrimp in it. It was pretty tasty though. They have a salad bar that was nice but downside was they served it with packets of Ken dressing. That's just not very classy. Chicken sub was flavorful. All in all, great place if you are staying at the hotel, otherwise, too many other options to come back here for another try.

    $30????

Just ordered $30 pick 2 plate, Door Dash, doesn't look like the picture...6 clams and 2 pieces of fish....not impressed for $30

Some how, some way the Vibe leads me to such places. Tempestas is attached to a hotel but, by far, not a hotel restaurant. They had an amazing set for specials... and like an old mentor used to say, specials are special and the way to go. I had the stuffed flounder... not usual being so far from the coast but came out epic. Service was exceptional... Did I see twins working the bar? Or one person working three times as hard? I caught a glimpse of a sub... it was huge. BBQ options... Salad bar... I can't wait to come back.

First visit to the new Jim/Eddie's which is now Tempesta's. I like the new spot and it is the same look as the last restaurant that was in the location. Guess it made it easy to make the move to a new space I wasn't very hungry so I ordered an appetizer for my dinner. The Buffalo Chicken Tenders which were good. The tenders were indeed tender !!! My husband had the Smoked Prime Rib. He asked for it Med/Rare which it was. He said it was good but not great. Cooked to his liking but tasteless. The service was very good .... We will give it one more try....

Excellent barbeque and other dishes. Service is great and fun too. Prices are more than reasonable and portions are large.

Went with another couple and everyone had a different dish. We all agreed that what we ate was just average . Will try again sometime.

Wanted to try something new while staying in Keene between ski days. Given the current cold snap,…read moreit was right around the corner from where I was staying. I was solo so sat at the bar. Bartender didn't impress. Not sure he was experienced. Give away was putting olives on martini containing grapefruit juice, not mention an even number of olives (bad luck). The menus were fancy and I ordered a shaved roast beef sandwich with au jus. Shaved roast beef was on par with Steak-umms. French fries were your typical bagged fries. All in all it was ok at best. Was hoping for a little more given the quality of the other restaurants in the area.

We ate here a 2nd time. First time was brunch and also not very good…read more Anyways ceaser salad was chopped to bits, the homemade dressing was okay, a few sad store bought croutons tried to liven it up. We also got the hot sauce marinated fried chicken sandwich, it was kinda wet and tough. Mass manufactured shoestring fries were also pretty sad fry wise. This used to be one of my favorite spots in Keene before we lived in Colorado. It changed hands a few years ago and hasn't been the same. The old menu was pretty small, and that is usually a sign of freshness and quality control. Service was okay, polite, and mostly accurate until the bartender filled what was remaining of my soda water with tap water. I'd stick with alcohol if you are coming here. The chicken fingers and bacon wrapped chicken were usually winners, I'd try those before anything else. But honestly with the competition in Keene for dining options I'd rather go elsewhere. It seems like you are doing alright covers wise, and I hope both experiences were off moments for you. Sorry to

First time trying Elm City and would definitely come back. A brewery was just what we needed after…read moresome frustrating traffic during our travels. They are located in a great spot, with plenty of parking available. We were lucky weather wise to be able to enjoy the patio, which I highly recommend if you visit during a time that allows it. All of the staff were very friendly and service was quite quick. They do offer wine, cocktails, mocktails and plenty of other non-alcoholic drink options so don't let brewing company scare you away. My wife got their Peach Kolsch and I got their Patio Season (lemon fruited wheat beer) and we enjoyed them. Both paired well with the nice weather day! Food wise my wife got Taco Salad that she very much enjoyed. I got their Peach BBQ Chicken Sandwich that had pulled bbq chicken. It was very tasty and you could get the sweetness from the peaches in the sauce. I do wish it would have been a little more peach forward though. Fries were hot and well seasoned but could have had a little more crisp to them. Overall solid spot, would check it out for those looking for a brewery that serves food and even for those just looking for a meal too! They offer a great variety of food on their menu that everyone in your party should find something to their liking. Like I said above, if weather and time of year allows enjoy the patio!
