I wanted to try a few times before I reviewed. The interior is really nice and the staff is mostly very friendly although one waitress is obviously impatient under the friendly tones. Chop suey here was horrible. Tasteless and the pasta was soggy. My daughter in law tried one of their special soups with a cornish hen on top that she thought was pretty terrible. They do have a great salad bar and I've not had a bad experience with the fish n chips but most everything we have tried is bland although portions are huge. The bacon in my aunts blt was to smoky and to chewy. It's probably a great place for a drink or if you want a good salad but seems expensive (like everything right now)for what you get

    $30????

Just ordered $30 pick 2 plate, Door Dash, doesn't look like the picture...6 clams and 2 pieces of fish....not impressed for $30

Beautiful interior. Adjacent to a hotel. It would be great to come for drinks. Extensive menu. Very friendly staff. I had the French onion soup. It was pretty good but not much broth. Clam chowder was not authentic as it also had shrimp in it. It was pretty tasty though. They have a salad bar that was nice but downside was they served it with packets of Ken dressing. That's just not very classy. Chicken sub was flavorful. All in all, great place if you are staying at the hotel, otherwise, too many other options to come back here for another try.

Some how, some way the Vibe leads me to such places. Tempestas is attached to a hotel but, by far, not a hotel restaurant. They had an amazing set for specials... and like an old mentor used to say, specials are special and the way to go. I had the stuffed flounder... not usual being so far from the coast but came out epic. Service was exceptional... Did I see twins working the bar? Or one person working three times as hard? I caught a glimpse of a sub... it was huge. BBQ options... Salad bar... I can't wait to come back.

First visit to the new Jim/Eddie's which is now Tempesta's. I like the new spot and it is the same look as the last restaurant that was in the location. Guess it made it easy to make the move to a new space I wasn't very hungry so I ordered an appetizer for my dinner. The Buffalo Chicken Tenders which were good. The tenders were indeed tender !!! My husband had the Smoked Prime Rib. He asked for it Med/Rare which it was. He said it was good but not great. Cooked to his liking but tasteless. The service was very good .... We will give it one more try....

Excellent barbeque and other dishes. Service is great and fun too. Prices are more than reasonable and portions are large.

Went with another couple and everyone had a different dish. We all agreed that what we ate was just average . Will try again sometime.

Waitstaff and hostess were kind. The pretzel they brought us as a starter was fantastic. Everyone was thrilled with the mustard and pub cheese. There were mixed reviews for our entrees, but the C monster iPa and peachy Keene kolsch were well enjoyed.

Upon arrival (be warned, gps will take you weird way through back lots, bit you will get there) was impressed by the beautiful historical structure it is housed in. Theres a lovely outdoor eating area, and plenty of indoor dining in various types of rooms, and a bar area. We opted for indoor dining, was seated in the main dining area. Its a beautiful space with restored wood work and craft beer decor. They brew their own beer. I had the Bird NEIPA, probably the smoothest IPA i have ever tasted. Loved it. Apps: OUTSTANDING! the spinach artichoke dip I guarantee is better than any you have ever had, anywhere. The bagel chips with everything seasoning compliments the dip perfectly. We also had the sweet potato corn jalapeño soup. Creamy, flavorful with the perfect spicy finish. Dinner: Took forever to get to us. Almost an hour from when we ordered. At 45 minutes our server said he dropped one of our meals, so he asked kitchen to make 2 new ones..so one wasn't just sitting under heat lamp. Very much appreciated, but even still..it should not have taken that long. My meal was ok. Peach BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, there wasn't much chicken. The bun was barely toasted, and not a broiche as advertised. Just a regular burger bun. So i couldnt hold the sandwich up without it drooping. I ate with fork, it was fine. Just a bit disappointed. The NY Strip however, was melt in your mouth good, the demi glaze sauce was amazing too. Would definitely come back here if ever in area again. It was that good, even with the bad timing. So many other menu items i would love to try

We were greeted and told to sit anywhere we wanted. Ambiance: It's a smaller, fairly echoey restaurant, but it's a pizza joint... it's kind of to be expected. After a few, our waitress came and I ordered waters. For some reason our table was missing the drink menu... all others had one. It took a few minutes for our waitress to find one for us. I ordered the Galaxy Lemonade, Jennie chose the Bahama Mama. We were both very disappointed in our drinks. Minute clearly had the Blue Curaçao in it, but there wasn't even the tiniest hint of the Empress Gin... a gin with a very distinctive flavor. It was so lacking that I actually asked our waitress if it was forgotten. I think the drink should've been great, but the curaçao was overpowering the gin. There was 1oz of each liquor. I think 3/4oz BC and 1.25oz Empress might've made it better. While Jennie prefers sweeter drinks, the BM was VERY sweet-forward, lacking flavor from either rum. We are all about the "well-balanced beverage"... neither of these were. Our appetizer (5 Buffalo wings) & pizza arrived at the same time. I thought the wings were great. The heat/flavor ratio was damn-near perfect. Jennie felt they had a bit too much heat... I disagree :) Our thin-crust pizza was also great. Toppings: garlic, tomato, banana peppers, & pepperoni. I feel there should've been much more garlic on it, as it was ordered as a topping, but overall, the crust had a perfect crispness all the way under, so it could be picked up by the edge. We both enjoyed it! The food is worth picking up, but if I'm going to sit in a restaurant for food and drink, I'd like to enjoy the drink. For that reason, we probably won't be back.
