On the Thursday night before Labor Day weekend, we made a reservation at Wunderbar in Bellows Falls. Upon arriving, we were seated quickly. Service was overall fantastic and we were super impressed with the cocktails and food, leaving happily satisfied and stuffed at the end. I can't think of anything we ordered that we didn't like, though, of course, there were some favorites: Alpine Negroni and Smoking Gun cocktail were delicious. We LOVED the Ahi Tuna Tostadas, Wunder Wings, and Roasted Carrots - and hands-down our favorite of the night was the Miso Mussels. We weren't sure we ordered enough between the 3 of us, but portions were overall done well and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience from start to finish. I truly can't wait to come back to Wunderbar the next time I'm visiting the area. And no pickle. 4. The fries that came with it had to be sent back to be cooked longer. And there was a big puddle of oil on the plate once I slid the par-cooked fries onto a side dish. The server was lovely about it and they came back fast and cooked through. But my guess is the oil wasn't hot enough hence the grease puddle. 5. The chicken orzo soup was meh. I don't try it.
