Ah, the enchanting town of Brattleboro, Vermont, hides a delightful gem within its green embrace -…read more"Superfresh Organic Cafe." Nestled in this quaint corner of the world, this café is a whimsical oasis of organic, vegan, raw enchantment that's uniquely Brattleboro. As I strolled into "Superfresh Organic Cafe," I was greeted by the soothing melodies of a street busker playing their heart out. The café itself felt like an eclectic homey high-vibe retreat, with crystals, plants, and sunlight streaming through the windows, creating dappled patterns on the wooden tables. The best tables are window-side where you can watch the little river and the waterfall. The menu, presented on recycled paper with hand-drawn sketches of the surrounding hills and rivers, revealed a symphony of flavours. I began my culinary journey with a sip of the "Green Goddess," a kaleidoscope of freshly pressed green veggie fruit juice that tasted as crisp as a morning hike in the Vermont woods. For my main course, I couldn't resist the "Kale + Artichoke Dip," a whimsical concoction of Kale + Artichoke Dip covered with brazil nut parm, baked, & served with house-made raw flax crackers & veggies that seemed to capture the essence of the lush local farms. It was a dish so light and refreshing it could rival a dip in the nearby swimming holes. But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the "Golden Goddess." It is a frozen/cold smoothie made with Vermont goodness and love in a blended up dream of Mango, turmeric, black pepper, ginger, vanilla, dates, ice, mylk. The staff, with their warm Vermont hospitality and kind high-vibe loving hearts, added to the café's charm. They moved about like friendly spirits, ensuring that every diner felt as if they were sitting down to a meal at a friend's cosy Vermont home. Leaving "Superfresh Organic Cafe," I felt like I'd experienced Brattleboro's heart and soul on a plate. It's a place where local produce isn't just food; it's a celebration of Vermont's natural bounty. If you find yourself in this picturesque corner of the world and crave a whimsical, locally-inspired escape into the world of fresh, organic, vegan raw delights, "Superfresh Organic Cafe" is your portal to a truly Green Mountain gastronomic wonderland.
