But what made me sad was that today is an especially hot day, and yet those two cats look like they have 1) no access to water, and 2) no access to cooler spots to escape the heat. They also were extremely matted, with thick furs that only amplified the sun's heat. After looking inside the store for someone, we went to take a peek in the dairy farm. Again, not a soul. Even worse, the cows themselves were in chains --suffering in the heat and their own piles of feces. We really tried looking around for someone -- moreso at that point to ask for more context surrounding the animal wellness situation. Not a fan. We eventually left because we didn't want to financially support a business who looks to treat their animals like the piles of feces they're forced to be surrounded in.
