The Reuben was perfectly grilled and rich in flavor and the fries were lightly crispy and well seasoned. The cocktails were fantastic with a good array of flavor profiles. Service was great, as well, and we were well attended to throughout. While it's not necessarily fine dining, I would definitely recommend as an excellent option for drinks or a casual meal with family or friends!

I've been meaning to try Lehrhaus for a while, and I'm really glad that I did! It seems pretty easy…read moreto get a reservation on a weekday, but you just have to watch out for its schedule since it's closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Jewish holidays. The interior is spacious and the service was great. I fell in love with the chopped not-liver ($13), which is a delicious eggplant spread that doesn't taste like eggplant but has a great savory flavor with a slight wine aroma. The pita bread that came with it was so warm, pillowy, and chewy. This dish was just perfection. There's an eggplant dip (Oren's eggplant) in the Bay that I have been craving, and now I have something in Cambridge that is just as good if not better. The haus smoked whitefish ($12) was also quite good. It had a lot of fish but wasn't too fishy, had good flavor and came with crunchy crackers. The fish and chips ($24) was tasty as well -- the chips are really crunchy and the fish was flaky and crunchy, and the sauce was interesting and spicy. Lastly, we got the halva ice cream sundae ($12), which was pretty decent with a lot of crunchy bits. I'm not a big fan of nutty flavors or milky ice cream, so I'm not sure if I'd get it again. There is a 20% gratuity automatically applied (we had 2 people, so I don't think it's due to party size). Service was great -- people kept checking on us and refilling our water. In conclusion, the eggplant chopped not-liver was amazing and it's everything I've been looking for. I'm excited to try more of their offerings.

I had my laptop and was NOT doing any work on it. I just had it with me and I wasn't even planning to do work on it. I was there to get coffee. They came up to me and gave me attitude over it and them not wanting screens. I was like okay but then they walked off and didn't take our orders. They saw us leaving and asked if we wanted anything. We said "No! I said we respected your wishes and never disrespected your policy but instead of taking our orders you gave us shit and walked off." They obviously don't want customers.

You really can't go wrong with them and they are a must try. I love the gelato in them, it really kicks them up a notch. I also got the espresso martini which was very very good too. Definitely a top 5 espresso martini. We also got an affogato and had baileys added to it- this was AMAZING! If you're into dessert drinks this is the best place for them. Sometimes you have to wait in line but once you're seated the service is great. The staff checks in often and is extremely helpful. This is a great date night or hang out spot, it has a very relaxed atmosphere and feels like a cafe. Highly recommend!

You arrive through the ice cream shop (I've been to the ice cream shop before and I had no idea that this was here) and you go to the back to an unmarked door by the restrooms. You flip the switch and the doorkeeper checks your id and you wait until there is a table. Once you go in, it is a small restaurant/bar. The focus is definitely on the alcohol. There are several interesting cocktails to try. I had the martini. It was served in a flask on ice. It was strong. My friend tried the Manhattan and she was very pleased by the flavor. We had the burger and shared the fries. Those were good but not the best I've ever had. But the concept of the fries was very good. My friends got the salmon dip and that was exciting. The deserts are mostly spiked too. The service was very good and I will be excited to come back again next time I'm In the area.

Having mixed feelings about this one. While we absolutely love the sister restaurant, this one…read moredidn't wow us as much. That being said, we still had a pleasant dinner and enjoyed our meal but I don't think we will be itching to return. The standout being the french fries-- tossed in a delicious truffle butter. We both enjoyed the ny strip-- I found it odd that you couldn't order it cooked to your liking. We had asked for our steak cooked medium and they "can only do medium rare" per the servers words. That felt a bit odd-- I cannot not understand the reasoning why. The flavor on the steak was delicious, the cream sauce outstanding, and the greens were a nice touch. I would not recommend the cacio de pepe -- that didn't feel like an authentic pasta rather overcooked mac and cheese. It was not what we were expecting. The other thing that fell a bit short was the service. Completely different than their sister rail trail, the service was cold. It felt as if we were a bother. Our dining experience was less than an hour, it was prompt service. Ambiance is nice, small seating, dark.
