Usually come for the ice cream but ordered food first this time. My Tree Hugger wrap was fresh and packed with veggies, avocado and hummus. Excellent! Other family ordered the chicken tenders basket, the hot pepper jelly burger and the club sandwich. Everyone was happy with the food. Took ice cream & frappes to go - generous portions and decent prices. The dinner food took a bit to get (35 minutes) but we weren't in a rush. read more

Went on a Monday afternoon and had a great experience! There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating. They had chairs and tables under cover, picnic tables under a tent and Adirondack chairs in a field. They also had corn hole to play. They played classic rock music lightly in the background. There were a variety of food options, but we did not order food. We just got ice cream and they had a ton of flavors, many unique ones too!!! I got coffee Oreo on a cone and it was amazing!! They had a kiddie which is one scoop, small is two, medium 3 and large 4. We got the smalls (pictured) and they were huge, love the portion sizes!! The people working were patient when we were deciding what we wanted and quick to scoop once we ordered. Would definitely go back! read more

Aaron's Specialty Ice Cream is a gem! We went there on a Wednesday evening for dinner. The food was spectacular! We ordered fish and chips and the haddock/scallop combo. It was all hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff was so nice and the ambiance of this unique spot is unparalleled. We didn't even have ice cream, but everyone that did looked very happy! Yummy little stop with beautiful views, a good selection of both food and ice cream, and a very friendly staff. My daughter and I decided to come here for an end of the season ice cream and a lunch. I ordered a hot dog and fries and my daughter opted for just fries as she was anticipating a large dessert. We both had a root beer. The fries were hot and crisp and came with plenty of ketchup. The hot dog was grilled perfectly and was quite good. The root beer was also very good. For dessert I ordered a cookie dough sundae with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce. My daughter ordered the small orange cream explosion! A very fun frappe that comes in a mason jar you keep. It has an orange slice garnish and an orange creamsicle included! I apologize for the picture of my half eaten sundae . I'm glad we were able to come before they close for the season. We look forward to going again next year! read more

Food is decent, organization could be better. I had visited with a friend we placed two separate orders and only given 1 buzzer. Not to my surprise my friend got their food and I was waiting until someone asked... if I was waiting. They asked if I had a buzzer, and no the young man at the register said "one should be good for you both"... I had to wait a little extra for my food to come out and almost felt like it was made to somehow be my fault? I do recommend the grilled cheeses!! I do recommend giving them a try. read more

Horrible experience! I order 2 quarts of 2 different flavors. The owner/wife thought i ordered 2 large cups of each flavor.. so i continued to tell her it's the other size.. the larger one and she goes "on no i can't sell you that because we won't have enough for any of our other customers! you'll have to pick something else!" i said huh i don't understand i'm here i'm a customer and that's what i want and had bought several times before.. so she goes and says this isn't really a "TAKE OUT" place it's a "Sit Down" and eat place. .(REALLy? why do you guys sell quarts to go then?) But.. I said ok i'll just have one of each flavor instead.. she says NO! Pick another Flavor..how about raspberry? I said Sorry I don't like raspberry. So she's say ok so your just going to have the two large cups of each?..I said no thank you and left. what i should of said was "NO! SAVE IT FOR YOUR OTHER CUSTOMERS!" You know.. The ones you're so concerned about. business must be doing fantastic since you would have such disregard for a physical customer and are more concerned with customers who aren't even there.. why don't you offer your customers who aren't there another flavor when they get there .. why can't they choose a different one? why am i being forced to pick something i do not want?!.. let me also mention this.. The TWO LARGE cups that i WAS allowed to purchase as per her (made up on the spot) RULES combined are the same size as a pint if you were to put both together!!!!!!! I knew that but at that point it's about principle and how i was being treated and spoken to "PICK ANOTHER FLAVOR!" I came home to tell my husband about the experience and he said I'm surprised they are usually nice and I told him what happened and he's like are you kidding me.. and I said no I wish I was. We have bought other things from this property before like their metal sculptures we try to patronize local small businesses because we are business owners our self and we know how hard it can be so when I'm being spoken to like this and I have a business of my own and i know the value my customer bring to the table(present ones). You got to do better! learn how to talk to your customers and make them feel like they're just as special as your invisible customers who aren't there and don't tell me where I can eat my food or my ice cream .. don't tell me this establishment is strictly a sit down and eat place when it's clearly A I'm going to order something and pay for my food and do what I want do with it place OKi read more

Don't want to tell you how much we enjoy this spot. Off the beaten path but you can get there from here. Ice Cream is fabulous and cooked food looks fresh and everyone seems to leave satisfied. Please don't tell anyone I don't want to have to wait too long for my treat. read more
