Alejandro saved our little Ppol Cleaner( we named it Herbie ), is sucked up a huge ball of plastic some how and he worked his magic and saved our pool pump! We've used Priority Pools since our brand-new pool was completed three years ago, and the…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

They're a family-owned business, and it truly shows in the way they treat their customers. Steve is a true pool genius--knowledgeable, honest, and always willing to answer questions and explain the process. Payless Pool Service resurfaced our pool, and the entire project was completed in just 7-10 days. They kept us informed every step of the way, showed up when they said they would, and delivered exactly what they promised. There were no hidden costs, no surprises, and no pressure--just outstanding workmanship at a fair price. What really impressed us was how they consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. Their attention to detail, communication, and commitment to customer satisfaction exceeded our expectations. It's rare to find a company that genuinely cares about the quality of their work and the people they serve. Our pool looks absolutely amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Payless Pool Service to anyone looking for a professional, honest, and trustworthy company. Thank you, Steve and the entire team, for making the entire experience stress-free and for delivering such incredible results!

We had been using this company for our regular monthly pool maintenance. Our pool was recently…read moredrained as part of a remodel and was scheduled to be refilled on Friday. I contacted him in advance and asked if he could come Saturday or Monday to get the water properly treated and balanced. He told me he couldn't come until Thursday. Since I didn't want a newly filled pool sitting that long without being properly treated, I told him I understood and that we would find another pool maintenance company that could come sooner. I then asked him to refund the unused portion of the $150 monthly service fee, since he had only performed one service that month. Instead of simply discussing the cancellation and refund professionally, the conversation became extremely hostile. He told me, "You pay thousands of dollars for a remodel, yet you won't pay me $200?" and eventually called me a "low-life" and said he "could wipe my ass with that money." I understand that there can be disagreements about charges, and I had no problem paying another company for the chemicals and startup service. My issue was the way I was spoken to simply because I chose to discontinue the service and requested the unused balance back. Unfortunately, after the way this situation was handled and the personal insults I received, I would not use this company again. Update after the owner's response: His response unfortunately reinforces the reason I decided to change companies. I did not cancel because I was looking for free service or because I did not want to pay for chemicals. My new pool company charges me $159/month, which is actually more than the $150/month I was paying him. They also charge separately for the freshwater startup chemicals, which I agreed to pay. I have no issue paying for services or chemicals. I changed companies because I was unhappy with the service and, most importantly, the way I was being communicated with. Even after I ended the service, the owner continued calling me "low-class" publicly in his response to this review. I think his own messages and response speak for themselves.
