this is the first time hiring someone to take care of the pool. I just got to be too much for me and I couldn't keep up with it so I called around and these guys seem to be reasonably priced. I made an appointment with them. I didn't have to be home the gates open so they can go in and take care of it, which is a real convenience for me because we work so much. he's been doing it for three weeks now and the pool looks fantastic. The Pool Professionals at Pool Star are truly professionals, that take pride in their work. I had another pool service who worked well the first six months, then service went downhill from there as they increased their business, hired young kids and did the typical 7 minute "Splash & Dash" and my pool suffered from there out with poor chemical management and cloudy water. Pool Star took over in June and my water is "Crystal" and all the chems are in balance, our pool is vacuumed on every service each week, and our pool tech really scrubs the sides of our pool and the tile. Our Pool Tech spends 18-20 minutes each time he is at our pool and what I love most, Ryan shows up each week on time and you can tell he takes pride in his work. When I moved into my home 7 years ago it came with a pool company that had been looking after the pool since it was built in 2004. I was happy with the service until unfortunately the owner of the (one man) company had to retire from pool maintenance. I researched on the internet and found PoolStar and decided to give them a try. That was about 6 months ago. They were a little more expensive than I had been paying but then my bill hadn't gone up for 6 1/2 years with the last company so I was fine with the new cost. My wife said after the first visit that she was very happy with the pool. It did look extremely clear and clean after that visit and so we hoped the change would work out. Since then I have been very happy with PoolStar. They show up every week as planned and our pool looks great (except for when all these damn leaves shed. I know the only cure for that is chopping down the trees but Wife won't hear of it I recommend PoolStar if you are looking for a solid pool company that has reasonable pricing and very good, reliable service. read more

I had Poolstar taking care of my pool for almost 2 years, I had just moved away from Henderson and my previous service company was already fully booked for the season, I gave Kevin a try. I had never met anyone from Poolstar, as I had the house rented as an executive rental. I needed someone to just reliably show up weekly, take care of the pool chems, make sure the equipment was well cared for consistently through the seasons and this company did just that. Honestly, it was such a relief to have one less thing to worry about with this rental home. It was just taken care of. The funny thing is, I ended up selling the property and finally got to meet my weekly pool guy just weeks before the house was sold. Super friendly, diligent and like I said - they did a great job. In my modern gated, high-end neighborhood, literally every 2nd house has a pool and they'd all cycle thru pool service companies constantly, not me! If you need a pool company to take care of your pool and literally not worry about it all, this is your company. Amazing pool service! Quick and beyond efficient! They even responded to me during the holiday weekend and gave me a date to start. My pool has never been this clean! I had a bad experience with my previous pool service. Her negligence caused one of my pipes to expand and then burst. Half my pool drained into my neighbors yard. The pipe had to be replaced and wasn't under warranty because it was human error. The valves had been turned in the wrong direction and the pressure continued to build up until the pipe burst. I was reluctant to find another service after that.
