Just this morning I had to text him because I couldn't remember the code to open my own pool cover!! We had a laugh and he provided the code with no problem. I told him that the rain water had covered the pool cover and I needed to open it to drain it and he advised me on what I needed to do in order to not strain the cover motor and mess it up. We had another company quote us $600 to drain our pool for an acid wash just this past week, I called around and got a hold of Danny pretty immediately. I explained the issue and the first question he asked me what pool surface I had. I told him plaster and he advised not to drain it this time of the year as the other company suggested then he explained why as plaster will crack. I've used Dany for about 1.5 years and just sold the house,my house was mostly vacant but Dany didnt take advantage and got the service done always on time. My pool was clean year round. I was very hesitant about calling around to find someone to repair them without having to worry about overcharging, trying to sell me something that I didn't need, or not showing up. It takes a lot for me to give a review mainly because I think you should generally have great service. In the case of Royalty pools Danny and his team go beyond " great service". After having two different companies over the last 8 years, you can see I don't like change, but when you feel like you have to check to make sure your pool company is coming or find repairs that you should have been made aware of it truly makes you wonder what your paying for. Not the case with Royalty Pool. They have been the most consistent with day/time quality of work, billing and excellent communication. In addition when I had a valve leak it was brought to my attention and fixed within hours (right before Christmas none the less) to top it all off Danny smelled gas from our house last week, alerted me right away and within a couple hours SWGAS fixed the gas leak. They have an answer to any problem I've had with my pool and they're fair and honest. I've had other pool service companies before who have tried to fix certain problems and they either don't know how to fix it or charge me and arm and a leg and supposedly fix the problem and one month later again my pool heater isn't working or spa backing up. This company is the first to have an answer for everything, fix everything I have needed for good, and always show up when they're supposed to, especially when you have an emergency. I never realized such bad service there is out there until now that I have the best service. With other companies I had to check if they actually came and I had to run out there if I had a question because they would be gone so fast after arriving. Danny has been taking care of our pool for the past 6 months and it hasn't looked better!! When I hired him, our pool was green. His first question was "when was the water in the pool last drained and filled". I said we have owned the home for 6 years so it is at least that long. He advised me that it should be replaced every 2-3 years. He suggested a chlorine wash (we have a pebble tec pool). He drained it, washed it and filled it. It's been a gorgeous blue ever since.
