We have had the worst pool service that we have used for years that over the last year has been barley adding chems and is here for 5 min max each week! We had pump tripping electrical breakers and instead of using his repair guy I put a project on Yelp. Out of all the companies we called Jos'e (Owner) with J Pools was so professional and polite he came out promptly and thoroughly diagnosed the problems! Our pool maintenance Co. had our waters PH in bad shape causing calcium build up on tile and pool walls. Jos'e quoted such reasonable options for replacing pump, drain water; acid wash and blast off all the calcium buildup off Spanish tiles. So very important to regulate all chems! Jose was able to come out when promised to replace our pool pump. We supplied the new pump and he did the installation. He also recommended replacing some of the wiring and showed up what was bad. He then offered to replace some of the old PVC pipe was was originals equipment from 17 years ago and he did it all for the original estimate. OMG if you are looking for a responsive Pool Service Jose at J Pool Service is the one. Another company misdiagnosed an issue with one of our valves causing our Home Warranty to deny our claim. We contacted Jose and within a couple of hours he was at our house and corrected the issue. He could have easily changed the more expensive part that we were told was bad along with the actual broken part but he didn't. Here is my experience with J Pool Service 702-375-8015. Contacted the owner (at least he said he was) Jose de Jesus and got an estimate for a pool replaster, skimmer crack and pool deck re-done and painted. Estimated to cost around 8000.00. My first negative experience was that I told Jose specifically, that I wanted to keep my existing border mosaic tiles. They were originally installed 40 years ago and are now very expensive. The crew that Jose sent out did not speak English at all. Well, guess what? They started chipping off the tiles, by the time I found out, they already had approximately 5 feet of it removed. When I called Jose, he said it was too late and then he sprang the surprise. "Oh I forgot to tell you that I need to be paid in three installments"! I should have fired them then but I wanted to believe that he was honest. Then he had me pay for half of the cost of the new boring blue tiles. At this point I was worried that they would do something to my pool so I went forward. The plaster is rough and actually has grooves in various areas. The deck is already coming off in some places and was painted with old paint that turned white after about a month. The fiberoptic light that was installed DOES NOT change colors with each on and off but rather takes multiple on and offs to change to a different color and never goes through all of the colors consistently. The skimmer crack that he said needed to be repaired because it would come through the new deck now shows a visible crack exactly where the repair was done! So that was 580.00 down the drain! When I tried to contact J Pool service about these problems, of course I got no response. The pictures on their website at www.jpoolservice.com are not even close to what I was left with! Also I had a pair of titanium clippers and a push broom stolen by his crew. Beware of this company. Look elsewhere for a company with a license and real reviews not the 3 that are on the website. read more

Reached out to Jose to look at my pool that kept turning green. He diagnosed the multiple problems I had with my pump system (in floor vacuum pipe leak and heater leaking) along with spot treating the algae. Very very pleased with the service.
