We ended up needing to drain the pool and do an acid wash for the staining that had happened. They were able to get it done quickly and the pool was brand new again! We also signed up for their pool service. They come out weekly to check/adjust chemicals and handle all the other pool maintenance. We are still working on getting rid of the pigeons :( but our water stays beautiful with their help and all we have to worry about is our tan lines. Totally worth the money!

After a detailed and explicit conversation with the owner about not cleaning the filters on the road (due to HOA rules and the mess it leaves behind for me and my neighbors), they completely disregarded my request and did it anyway. This was not only disrespectful but also a clear violation of our community guidelines--something I made very clear upfront. On top of that, my spa was clogged for over a month, which I had to constantly bring to their attention. The clog caused a severe calcium buildup that destroyed the look of my tile. Instead of taking accountability, the owner brushed it off with, "Calcium builds up over time," and said I would need to pay another companymore to remove it. That's not just poor service--it's negligent. I've lived in my home for 7 years and never had buildup like this. My previous pool service would catch early signs and make recommendations before it got out of hand. Big George's took no such proactive care. Now I'm left with a spa that's downright ugly and embarrassing, and frankly, I feel taken advantage of. What was supposed to be regular pool maintenance turned into a costly headache. This is not professional service. This is a warning to anyone considering Big George's Pool Care: look elsewhere unless you want to clean up after them--literally and financially.

I received a return phone call from Melissa who said they are retracting the bid. I believe this is an inside SCAM. I will be filing a complaint with the State of Nevada Contractors Board as well. Update: Scotts reply is inaccurate: 1 Awesome Pool Solution retracted the bid when it was requested to be provided to all board members. They are clearing hiding details regarding that bid from the rest of the board. The solution is to send the bid to everyone. Apparently there is something "Shady". Avoid this company at all costs. 2nd Update: Again Scotts reply is inaccurate. The main reason his company was contacted was for deck repairs. Therefore the comment "to pull a permit for work completed by another party" is false. No deck repairs have been completed by any company. This back and forth is proof they have no integrity. I will get to the bottom of this "shady" behavior or perhaps the State Contractors Board will do the honors. Please dont waste your time with this company.
