He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. During the initial months, their service was outstanding. At their recommendation we had them replace multiple components to our system. Their initial performance resulted in me writing a five star review on Yelp. In the past year, their service for us had deteriorated significantly. I contacted management multiple times regarding various issues. I complained when they replaced a very competent service technician with an individual who was marginal at best. After several months, he was replaced by another individual who was only minimally better. During the early months of our contract, Fowler's agreed to clean our water feature filter two times per month at no charge. Recently we noticed a reduction in the flow from the waterfall for our water feature and asked the technician to clean the filter. He replied "I'll do it next week". Several days later the water flow stopped altogether. This resulted in another call to management who subsequently informed me that the two times per month cleaning of the filter had not been done for the past five months. He then told me that they were no longer honoring their previous commitment and would only clean the filter every four months with a cost to us of more than $200. If additional cleanings were needed, we would be charged an additional fee. At that point, I decided to look for other vendors. The two that I interviewed both said that the water feature was full of algae. This was without any prompting by us. I contracted with a new vendor who cleaned the water feature filter and removed the algae. The time to clean the filter was seven minutes. To jeprodize a very lucrative contract for a seven minute task makes me question Fowler's business expertise. In retrospect, after spending over $13,000 with Fowler's in less than two years, I realize that they were not the company for us. I gave them more chances than most and they failed to perform to my expectations. I now know why they have recently received poor Yelp ratings from other individuals. I was however thankful that he was communicating with me and keeping me updated on when he was coming, but after everything was said and done, he was never heard from again. We had to shut off our system because it was making an extremely loud noise- it was so loud we were able to hear it from the front of the house. It started off with a leak after he replaced it, and had tried to call right away, we've sent photos and videos, and he would just ghost us. So here's my review!

Rickey was very communicative during the interview process but went dark after I paid him for the pool service. Neither Rickey or any of his people showed up to perform the service. I reached out to my bank to do a charge back but they said they are unable to do charge backs with Apple Pay.

We thought it was too far gone, but Mike managed to bring it back to clean swimable water. He also performed a badly needed filter cleaning (more than once) to assure the last of the dreaded Algae was gone. Set up another appointment for the next day with a request for a window so we would sure to be available. NO response? The morning of the appointement messege read "tech would be there in an hour." 3 hrs passed no tech no call. I cancelled appointment saying we were going with another vendor. Response back one word "sure"?? Mistakes happen. schedules get messed up but to not even bother to stay ahead of it with a courtesy call or message TWO DAYS IN A ROW is just bad business. Communication is key and just showing up is 80% of the business.
