Stay far away from this company. Months of poor service, false reports, and zero accountability…read more They let our salt cell become caked with scale, doubled the salt level to dangerous levels (forcing us to drain half the pool), and nearly shut off flow to our heater--costing us weeks without a working spa and a service bill we shouldn't have paid. We caught techs on camera skipping basic tasks like brushing and basket cleaning, staging photos for reports, and even taking drinks from our fridge without asking. Filter cleanings were overpriced, rushed, and messy, with bills coming early and no real work done. Unprofessional, unreliable, and unethical. The only thing they did reliably was remove our safety net for maintenance--which in hindsight was not worth the damage, hassle, and dishonesty.

The owner of this company, Rod, got right back to me within minutes. I was a little panicked…read morebecause my pool wasn't operating properly and I was about to have a large pool party. Despite the fact it was after hours (evening before the party), Rod actually spent 20 minutes with me via FaceTime to diagnose the problem, assist me with repairing a valve and priming a pump. He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. Thank you!!!

Really a 0. Where do I begin.......If you are considering using Sun State Pools--you may want to…read morerethink that decision. We contracted them in December. our pool is still not completed. They seem to make up different reasons every week on why they are delayed. Here are some of the issues: They stared the patio----no work for 3 weeks, then 3 weeks later they finally came back and it still was not finished. They started the pool-then 3 weeks of no work then three weeks later they came back. Still didn't complete it. When they put the concrete in the pool their small plastic pool where they put in the cement stayed in my front yard for over 3 weeks--long enough for the HOA to ask if it could be removed. The pool was full of the workers trash, water bottles, McDonalds bags, for 3 weeks... They basically ignored me when I asked for it to be cleaned out . There was absolutely NO communication from this company. and they charged my credit card without my authorization. Their contractors they use speak NO English and you simply cannot communicate about what you want. The project manager assigned to us was a joke. Not sure if it was laziness or incompetence-or both. So 6 months later we are still waiting for the pool to be completed. This is a joke of a company and I certainly wish someone would have warned me about them. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM
