One of my go to places for poke in Markham! They have a really nice variety of poke flavours. I'm pretty sure we've tried all of them now and they all taste delicious. I love that this place doesn't skimp on the toppings that go into their bowls. The portion is also decent as their regular sized poke bowl fills me up nicely and I can never finish the large! Staff here are always polite and work quickly to get your order filled. There's also a sit down area if you want to enjoy your poke bowl on the spot but I normally do take out. Prices are a little high but a good treat once in a while!

Wow! The poke bowls here are stacked and full of goodness. Lots of variety of toppings and the fish were fresh. We also tried the bowl with duck (forgot what it is named) and it was tasty as well. Got a mix of zucchini noodles and brown rice for each bowl. The brown rice was fresh and warm. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a quick and relatively healthier takeout meal!

My favourite spot to get poke in the city! Their portions are huge, even for the regular sized box. The fish and topping ingredients are always fresh. My go to is the big umami which features salmon & tuna in their house made shoyu sauce. The service was welcoming & kind, they were patient in taking my order as I decided what I wanted in the bowl. There are a few small tables if you wish to dine in & eat it at the restaurant! Overall, it is a takeout style resto as you order and proceed to pay.

My favourite place to order poke. Everything I've tried has been fresh, flavourful, and so satisfying. They're always consistent, and I've never been let down. Love this place.

We were recommended this place form a friend. There was a bogo deal on Ubereats so we figured we should try it. The food was packaged well and arrived in reasonable time. The bowl itself had ample amounts of salmon and tuna which were fresh. The seaweed salad on the corners were great. Avocado was ripe and fresh. The sushi rice on the bottom was well cooked not mushy. We enjoyed the other mixed veges, tempura bits, green onions and sauce mixed in. It had a nice fresh and salty/sweet flavor to it all. Would definitely get this again. Price: Pretty similar pricing to other poke places but the freshness and quality is quite good here. Would definitely return.

There and back again. Finally went back for poké based on popular demand! It's great when a place named The Poké Box sells exactly that. First time since opening, I returned for another experience. The teal & pink decor brings good vibes, but the key is fresh fish. Big Umami contains everything that I love in a poké box: shoyu salmon, ahi tuna, avocado, seaweed salad, topped by tempura bites and furikake. The fish is lightly-seasoned to still be able to taste the freshness this time. Sauced it up with shoyu & Waikiki mayo. For choice of base, try zucchini noodles to feel extra healthy! With many options around, glad this shop will be one I keep in mind.

I enjoy eating poke bowls whenever I'm craving something fresh. I always opt for the poke bowl. Love how fresh their tuna and salmon are with just the perfect amount of shoyu. The edamame, corn and seaweed salad is a nice touch of texture on perfectly cooked rice. Love the bits of tamago and Kanu salad too. Leaves you feeling full, but in a nice way where you don't feel gross after or need mounts of water from sodium overkill.

Location/Service This place is right at the intersection of Woodbine/Highway 7 - within the same plaza as LA Fitness, with plenty of parking available. Love their interior decor - very IG friendly with their pink electric signs and also specific quotes that are poke puns. Staff were nice and my online order was ready right on time. Food I would reco potentially check out different online food ordering apps - cause I scored a pretty good BOGO deal for their defaulted Poke Box for around $25 or so. Tried their Big Umami bowl and I was very surprised how tasty it is! This is by far one of the best poke places I've had. Everything was fresh and the combo selection of the rice, veggies and sauce really blended so well together! The quantity was also huge, even though I only ordered a regular size - was super stuffed and full.

A solid spot for a delicious poke bowl! I tried the regular poke bowl, which was filled to the brim with amazing flavours and was a reasonable price (around $15). Even the regular was quite a large portion, which I am certainly not complaining about.

New fav place for poke bowl, mainly because of the zucchini noodle base, so fresh and nice portion. Perfect healthy option for lunch after workout across the parking lot at LA Fitness. Lots of bowl options, and build your own is really nice and fun too! It gets pretty busy during Lunch, but everyone working there is fast and quick.

Ouuuuf there's a new Poké spot in town and don't worry it actually comes in a box!! All jokes aside, I think this place might be as good as Poké Guys! So far I've only tried it once but definitely will be back to try their other boxes. I ordered "The Poké Box" ($12.90), please forgive me for the terrible picture. Its really hard to focus when there's something so immaculate in front of you, I'm sure y'all can relate. Everything was fresh and delicious, not to mention really filling. Well worth every calorie! Love how you're able to order on their website for the convenience and to not have to pay for service fees on third party apps, now that's thinking outside of the box! Can't wait for my next cheat day to get some more!

At first I thought I had found a new poke spot, though it's a half truth - turns out I had actually been to one of the downtown locations. Anyways, came by for a Saturday takeout lunch. I got the regular "Big Umami" box, which has salmon, ahi tuna, avocado, and a whole host of other ingredients. Everything was fresh, sauced appropriately, and I thought the rice was cooked well. The only thing was trying to mix the box, because it was so packed! The takeout experience was great too. There are many options to preorder (food apps, their own website, phone), though I just ordered in store. It was made quickly and the staff made sure to check if my box was done the way I wanted, mainly relating to the finishing touch toppings. I liked how they had the boxes and their sizes displayed so everyone can gauge what would be ideal. There are patio chairs outside to enjoy your freshly made box - I went on a rainy day but I would certainly want to do that sometime.

Parking is available right by the carousel or you can go underground by the condo complex. Interior is pretty standard. Nice to see that they have tables available for you to dine-in, but I see most are doing to-go, so nice convenience. Staff were friendly and nice to see they are following health and safety quite seriously when assembling the bowls. Food Their food had always been pretty staple, where you can either select a fixed menu setup or build your own poke with a choice of base/protein/toppings. I also like that they have an option to do salad or soba noodles besides rice as the base. I went for the Aloha Honey Ginger Salmon (crab meat slaw * pineapple * seaweed salad * masago) and Mauna Loa Spicy Shoyu Salmon (edamame * spicy cucumbers * spicy seaweed salad * masago) They've got daily specials too, so it's nice you don't have to break the bank. My daughter has been sharing her fav spots and we are always looking for new spots to try. Komeya came to mind for me to share with her to try out their ramen, which I have never tried before despite getting take out poke bowls for years. We decided to dine in. Warmly greeted by all of the familiar staff that have put our take out orders together and chatted with over the years. I love the cozy set up inside. They have tables and chairs or the window seating with the bar height stools. We ordered both the Miso Ramen and the Shoyu Ramen, Gyoza dumplings and chicken Karaage. The broth was amazing and full of so much flavor. The pork was so tender and all of the ingredients meshed so well with a great balance of vegetables, meat, broth and the noodles. My favorite has always been the kale noodle salmon poke bowl! I love it so much I asked if I can buy their kale noodle uncooked in bulk. Unfortunately he wouldnt share their supplier name and said they could not sell it to me that way lol. But i did find something similar in the J-town grocery store, just not the same :(. The light sesame dressing , little rice crispies makes the dish. It is served with cherry tomatoes, some sliced cucumbers, pink ginger, edamame beans and corn and of course topped with your favorite sauce. Ive also tried this dish as a rice bowl but prefer the kale noodle as that chew really makes it unique to the Komeya experience. The staff are always so friendly. Highly recommend. Prices have significantly increased over the years.
