I've been suddenly craving rolltation again, and I'm really glad I went. Their sushi burritos are generous with the fillings and the salmon is super fresh. I went with a premade option, but you can also choose what ingredients go inside your burrito. I liked how my classic salmon had little pieces of tangerine in it. It was a nice touch and made it very refreshing. Needless to say, I'm obsessed with rotation now and I wish there is one closer in Markham. However, I did think it was quite expensive as two sushi burritos total up to $39.

Delicious! Takeout spot, window bar table seats 4. Ordered online for lunch. Lots of variety for the toppings. Good variety of warm food as well as the typical raw poke bowls. I made a build your own salmon with kale base. Picked the Spicy Habanero sauce, and it packs some heat. Pick up was easy and quick, 2 of the 3 (ordered separately) were already ready when we arrived, with the last one being finished up in around 15 seconds upon our arrival. They had the order slip with our names on it for easy pick up. The order page is slightly confusing (as experienced by my coworkers), the order page pops up, but if you order before selecting a location, it will make you start over. I believe each location has different offerings, making it necessary to select the location first. From the Google maps pictures, I thought there would be more seating for dine in.

Quick and easy poke bowl place in downtown Toronto on Dundas. Good freshness, nice portion, great value. It's a small and cozy place. I like coming here, particularly when there is not much time and wanted to grab some healthy and tasty lunch. Recommended.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I was looking for a lunch spot and couldn't decide what I wanted. I took a chance and ordered the chicken bowl. It was hot, tasted fresh, the chicken was cooked perfectly, sauce had a nice spice. Loved the toppings - ginger, cherry tomatoes, edamame, everything went together nicely. My only complaint is I wish there was more sauce. I'm someone who loves food with a lot of sauce. It was very filling and I felt satisfied afterwards.

Right at Yonge-Dundas, this is my go-to lunch/dinner spot after class as it's a fairly healthy spot compared to everything else around the area. I always get the miso salmon bowl which has salmon, lettuce, cucumber, edamame, diced mango, pickled ginger, tobiko, green onion, and tempura bits. I always enjoy it as the portions are always consistent. Pretty solid poke spot!

Great lunch/dinner spot that is also good when you need something quick! Came here because I was in the area, tried their classic salmon salad (lettuce) and substituted the wasabi tobiko for regular tobiko (I don't enjoy wasabi) They put it together really quick and went onto the next person (after lunch rush) The quality was really fresh and everything tasted great together. I wish the avocado was a little more creamy, but otherwise, everything was delicious!

I love this place. Very innovative sushi fusion for quick eats. Sushi roll as a handheld burrito. Lots of options for rice, kale salad or if you're in the mood for carbs as a giant sushi roll. Recently tried the California sushi burrito. Really satisfying and ordering on app was quick and easy. See you again.

Rolltation is a quick-serve restaurant with one vegan option that you can order in a bowl or sushi burrito. I got it as a sushi burrito because that seemed interesting. In retrospect, it would have been better as a bowl because the sauce falls out the bottom of the burrito, and it gets messy fast. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly. On the upside, the ingredients tasted fresh.

Rollation is starting to grow on me and it's just so close to work when I'm craving sushi that I've been going back. Today, I decided to use my 5% off coupon from Yelp check-in and opted for their classic salmon sushi burrito. Flavors were very good and everything tasted fresh! Only problem was that my burrito wasn't wrapped very tightly so it was a huge mess to eat. I also think the employee knew this while she was making it cause she struggled a little. I recommend grabbing a fork, just in case. Staff was very friendly again though, so that always makes the experience more pleasant.

This was my first time trying a sushi burrito. I had the classic salmon burrito and really liked it! I'd bring friends back here when we come downtown.

Miso salmon poke bowl- mainly lettuce with a bit of rice. Good portion size. I was very full after. They are Very accommodating with sauces and substitutions. Not the best poke i have had but still pretty good.

Def my least favourite poke place :( I've tried their fish poke bowls, tofu poke bowls, and their chicken yakitori bowl.... Flavours are srsly lacking. Compared to other poke restaurants, their ingredient combinations are super mediocre. Fish isn't marinated super long/well; chicken is dry... This location gets quite busy during the lunch rush because it is a choice for a healthy lunch amongst the fast food world we live in. They also take alot of delivery and ritual orders so there's def a bit of a wait.

Came by to try their seasonal miso salmon burrito roll. I have to say, the flavours really so meld together well, and all the ingredients are fresh and tasty. However, there were only a few very small pieces of salmon and even fewer of mango, etc. For $14, I wanted more substance. Perhaps the bowls are better, but unless you're coming by for the aesthetics/experience alone, this meal will leave you a little unsatisfied. Servers were friendly and kind, and there were a few bar style seats by the window.

Quick service and tasted pretty fresh! We took our bowls for takeout and enjoyed at home. We will return! Pretty cheap too.

First visit, but won't be the last. Very tasty, reasonably healthy, and fast preparation. Also, very good about food allergies.

Pokito - The Supreme Vegan Plate

Pokito

Queen Street West, Alexandra Park

Pokito is a Hawaiian restaurant/take out joint located along Queen St. W. near Spadina Ave (close…read moreto Cameron St.). They've been a staple for poke in the area for years, however, their menu has expanded to include more Hawaiian foods like plate lunches and snacks (like onigiri and spam musubi). I recently stopped by Pokito to pick up take out for dinner as I had stumbled upon a $10 coupon from the restaurant over Facebook. Upon entering, the space is inviting and warm, with wooden accents throughout the space. There are several tables if you'd like to dine in. The menu is large and they also have daily deals as well. In the small fridge display they have a sample of their poke on display along with other items like onigiri, desserts, and drinks. Their poke bowls are likely the most popular items to be ordered but definitely don't skip out on the plate lunches as well! I opted to grab a garlic shrimp scampi plate lunch (tail-on shrimp sauteed in buttery garlic sauce on rice (can choose between white or brown rice) with mac salad and a salad slaw) for $22.50. I did have $10 off my order which was great. If you sign up for their rewards program you also get other deals as well (the next deal I get is 50% off a plate lunch for a limited time!). My order was made fresh which took about 5-10 min. I didn't mind as I just sat down to wait. Service was friendly and efficient. I had my garlic shrimp scampi plate lunch for dinner. Beware that the shrimp is really garlicy and delicious! Just be careful if you need to talk to someone afterwards because they will smell it. The rice absorbed some of that garlic flavour which made the rice even better. The mac salad was great and the salad slaw helped to cut through everything as well. Portions were large and I was full afterwards. Overall, a great place for Hawaiian plate lunches (and I'm sure poke as well!) in the Queen/Spadina area. Definitely will return to try more of their plate lunches as well as poke.

1/2 I've consumed so…read moremuch ahi poke in my life that my bloodstream is basically a sashimi smoothie. But this place? This place made me reconsider my will. I had the spicy garlic ahi and the original ahi, and the tuna was so fresh I half expected it to still be swimming. It melted in my fat little mouth like it was apologizing for every bad life choice I've ever made. This honestly rivaled poke I've had in Honolulu, which is terrifying because that means I no longer need Hawaii--I can now die broke and mercury-riddled right here at home. The spicy ahi hits hard too. Caucasians, if you've ever cried during a Taco Bell mild sauce packet, you should probably update your life insurance before ordering. My only critique? More sides and toppings. If I'm going to spiral into heavy-metal toxicity, I want to do it with reckless abandon and at least three different crunchy things sprinkled on top. Still, this place is so good I'd happily shave a few years off my life expectancy for another bowl. Who needs retirement when you've got poke like this?

I changed things up and visited the food court at Atrium on Bay. It was nice seeing several stalls open at around 4:30 pm. It was a toss-up choice between My Sushi or Fusia Asian Kitchen. I looked at the former's menu and liked what I saw. An early dinner from My Sushi, it was! You can get a bunch of sushi rolls. There were many options. I took one look at the poke menu and knew I needed a bowl. I got a regular. You can also do a large. A Chinese couple owns this business. The man took my order. The woman prepared my bowl. The man was helpful and nice. He said that I could do rice or salad, or half of each, if I liked. I went with salad. For the sauce, I chose teriyaki. I also got a Diet Coke. I waited patiently for my food. It didn't take too long. The woman asked if I needed a plastic bag. I waived it off, as I was going to rip open and devour my food at the food court. I cracked open my can of Diet Coke. It was cold and hit the spot. I loved my poke bowl. The salmon was fresh and yummy. The mandarin oranges were a nice twist. They brightened this bowl significantly. There were crispy green bits that I enjoyed, but I didn't know what I ate... lol The greens are iceberg lettuce. I would have liked mixed greens, but the crisp lettuce worked out surprisingly nicely. The half-avocado's presentation was amazing. It was cubed and fanned out. This find was awesome! I would love to return for more. The regular-sized poke bowl was perfect. Down the road, I can see my getting a large. Perhaps I'll try the sashimi next. I love sashimi! (197)
