This might be the only poke place in Oakville and it's a good one! They also serve ramen here as well. Since they do both, they have rare toppings for the poke which you generally only see for a place that will do cooked food, like tempura or steamed shrimp. They have preset bowls here or you can build your own using a physical order sheet. They have pencils available for you to check off your options. I liked that the order sheet specified exactly what was included and how much it cost so there weren't any surprises in the pricing. They include a few premium toppings like seaweed salad and avocado in their regular toppings so you don't have to pay extra for those! If you dine in, they will build the bowl and bring it to your table. There were utensils and seasoning located at the tables. I really enjoyed my bowl. Everything felt really fresh and it was a good portion. One of the sauces I had was a little bit spicy. Neither were listed as spicy but I'm guessing it was the mango one and not the ponzu just as an FYI. read more

The service is good and fast! A decent selection of ramen and poke bowls. You can even create your own! The food is served in small plastic containers. It seems like they they are catered to take out as opposed to eat in. They do have some nice tables. The good: food tastes good and is very fresh! The purple rice taste good and is prepared well. The tuna and avocado was also very fresh. The bad: the price is a bit high for the small portion meal despite the freshness In summary, the meals were prepared with "heart" and tastes good. The food was phenomenal, very good, the kimchi was very good not too spicy but very good. I ordered xtra toppings and they charged me a lot which isn't bad, I'm just used to not being charged for all the topping I got. New place to me but was very good. There fish cakes were very good the sauce for them sweet and spicy very very good. My wife got the ramen with pork, with all the toppings she recommended it with mild spicy. She loved it. As for presentation very good, but here is where it goes not so great. It's the little things that really make a place from good to amazing. This place would have had a five star review from me if they had done this one simple thing. The cashier who I orders my bowl, noticed that all the toppings I put in might not fit into there bowl they had for there poke, which was okay, I told him to use that bigger bowl they had that for the ramen, he said oh yeah that might work... so he said yeah I'll have them do that. I was like cool beans thanks. I thought everything was good, until they brang out my bowl like in the pictures I put. I was kind of disappointed. The cashier said I was going to do what you said but them back there wanted to see if they could make it work.... I was like really, well that's a shame i really wanted all my toppings in one big bowl, I was looking forward to that. He said I'm sorry about that, but he did bring me a big bowl so I could mix it all together, which made it okay, but I had to do it myself which was a let down, when you drop 90 bucks for ramen and a poke bowl, you expect a certain type of service. At least enough to do what they said they were originally going to do. Some say the customs always right, but I digress the food was very good can't complain there. This place has a variety of poke bowls, dons and ramen. I was told their poke was the best, and it definitely was a great choice. Although they have some options to choose from, I would say to make your own. There's a variety of protein options you can choose from (including tofu and seafood options), as well as a lot of vegetables, sauces and crunches to add. They give a hefty amount of everything as well and it was all really good. My friend ordered for us via the app, so you could take your time customizing your order. Was craving for some poke and stumbled across this spot while in the area. Service was quick and ended up getting the classic salmon poke which was $14.99 + tax. Portion size was quite large and ingredients were filled to the top of the container. I opted for the kewpie mayo instead of the spicy mayo and the flavours tasted so well together. I find their online system easy to use and it also has an order history so I can remember what I ordered and paid last time - this time I noticed an increase in price by $2 for the salmon bowl since winter 2022. My order is always ready by the time I make it in, so it's very quick and easy to pick up. The ambiance is colorful and would be a good casual spot for a meal. The toppings are always accurate for my make a bowl order, just once they gave me a full bowl of rice vs the half rice half salad I ordered. I am a poke fan so when I heard about a new poke place I haven't tried, I'm all for it. They have an online ordering system set up so I was able to take my time and customized my poke bowl. Ended up getting salmon on salad and a variety of toppings. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have a Zucchini noodle option, which seems pretty popular at other poke placed I've been to. There also wasn't an option to mix the rice with the salad which was what I would have done. Overall, a decent poke bowl and they gave a good amount of salmon and it was fresh. All my friends really enjoyed their food as well. I saw lots of other food options on their menu like gyudon so I'll definitely be back to try those out when I'm in the area. read more

Very good packaging. Packaged in clear containers so you can see what you ordered. Ordered the make your own poke bowl. It's fun to decide which toppings to put. There are a lot of toppings to choose from. Salmon is not marinated. Purple rice is a nice option to have. You can also have half rice and half salad. Also, they have taloyaki. In an attempt to diversify our weekly take out order, I decided to order from In a Bowl. I created my own poke and added probably 15 toppings. It did end up being a bit on the expensive side, but extra kim chi will do that to ya. One major downside was (my guess) that they do not have a deep fryer. The tempura shrimp in my poke seemed to have been warmed in the oven. There was a strange breaded formation that may me think it was from frozen. Really enjoyed my poke bowl here! I forgot to take a picture because I was so excited to try to it. I got the build your own bowl with salmon, kimchi, seaweed salad, edamame, avocado and pickled onion. For crunch I got tempura bits, lotus chips, and roasted seaweed all on a bed of white rice. I also got a generous amount of spicy mayo, poke sauce and sesame ginger dressing on the side. I also ordered a portion of the shrimp tempura too, I was a bit disappointed because the pieces of shrimp were smaller than pictures on other bowls on Uber eats. I had really bad experience today. I ordered the extra salmon for my daughter's classic salmon bowl. The waiter finished the package, another lady just jumped in, used the spoon to make the surface flatness, picked up 4 small piece of salmon out of the package.
