The pizza here is very good, we did the large pizza and 20 wing special. Pizza was delicious, wings were crispy. What more could you want in a buffalo pizzeria ? Food was out fast, and service was excellent. Inside is nice and clean. Will be back again.

First time trying the Heist. Excellent in and out service, Pizza flavor was an "A", the price was right, and they did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

Super clean interior, friendly cashier at the register. Perfect presentation on the pizza, sauce is on the sweet side and it had the perfect amount of cheese. Pizza logs, well they're pizza logs. Nothing really spectacularly different than most other ones. Wings. Touch on the smaller side, sauce was sparse on the medium and wasn't really "medium" it ate like a dry mild. The garlic parm, I'm sure was buttery, but the paper container drank most of that up. On par with most pizzerias, if you're close it's worth it, but not worth traversing the city like we did.

    Decent slices for great prices!

Pizza Heist has decent pizza for great prices. A tomato paste tasting sauce with a good amount of cheese. Two slices are about $5. You can't beat that pricing anywhere in Lancaster! My biggest gripe with PH is that they don't serve slices after 4pm. So don't bother stopping in for a few for dinner because they just don't have them. I get that's their busiest time but the financial benefits of offering slices would be worth it. I've never known a place not to offer them all day. The parking lot is also the absolute worst. The intersection where it is located is one of the busiest 4-way stops in the area and their parking lot consists of 4 parking spots, backing right into the street. It's awful. That alone would keep me from going there. The pricing is the reason I do.

Pizza was good, I like that the crust isn't paper thin. Could use a sprinkle of oregano on top though. But the cleanliness of the place is questionable. Ceiling fans had cobwebs on them, garbage can was half full yet the place had just opened.

Shawn's Pizza Reviews REVIEW # 1 THE PIZZA HEIST Lancaster, NY Score 6.3 The Pizza Heist had the right idea with a thick slice that looks very appealing to a Pizza eater. A prime location on the corner of Como Park Blvd & Aurora St with okay customer service. Unfortunately, the pizza was decent at best.

Yeah I like the black olives; wanna fight about it?

I love the dense, oregano heavy, thick sauce. A little sweet. The sauce so rarely sticks out at places. This one does. It reminds me of childhood somehow. Also a slight biscuity crunch of the dough reminds me of Chicago style. It's a local place that tries to stand out. It isn't some fancy brick oven, Neapolitan, New York, New Haven, Coal Fired, Detroit, style this-or-that.... It's consistent stuff every time. Very much in the Buffalo vein. And a good deal. Standard, hot, fresh, good quality pizza from a local joint that you should go to.

If this pizza were in college, it would win the Pizza Heisman. But it isn't in college, because Ariana Grande showed it how to graduate. So rather than the Pizza Heisman, you just seriously need to get down to Depew-Lancaster and try the Pizza Heist, man. Just don't show up when the place is being robbed, okay? I mean with a name like this, it gets robbed all the time. And usually at gunpoint. You don't wanna be in that room when those robbererers bring that Bang Bang into the room. And you might get that Pizza all over you. But if you do, they'll let you have it. And you'll be like... wait a minute, can you heat this up (ah ah), wait a minute can you (ahhhhh). Not a fan of that song. But yeah I know Domino's been good to you, you need a Pizza Heist to blow your miiiiiiiiind. What to get: Slices. There are some pretty amazing slices in Western NY, but Pizza Heist is right up there with the very best of them. Not only amazing, juicy, delicious, Imperial-esque slices, but amazing service and prices too. Slices and prices... two reasons to go here. I mean look at the name. And the marquee says "a meal for a steal!" and they are right. Maybe because they market themselves as dirt cheap, people think they are also dirt poor quality. Not at all. It's some of the best pizza around. The first time I went in, they endeared themselves to me by selling me a slice for around $2 which totally rocked my world and was significantly better than most of the other slices I've had. Typical Buffalo pizza but done right... fluffy sexy doughy crush with generous hot melted greasy cheese and yummy tasting not-too-sweet homemade herby tomato sauce and those pepperonis that turn up at the edges and get slightly burned and turn into bubbling cauldrons of heart-stopping grease. Yeah, DON'T eat pizza too often. But when you do, try Pizza Heist. I don't always eat Pizza. But when I do, I Heist it. So the second time I came here it was even better. It was late night (they're open til Midnight, baby) and they were about to close, so they had no slices left. But they had a "burned pizza" from earlier which wasn't that burned and still tasted amazing. They said... you can have these 5 slices if you want... I was like... hmm, okay. How much? Oh, it's free. They're burned and we're closing. Okay then... so I tipped them heavily and took the slices (which they kindly warmed back up for me!) and they were absolutely fantastic. So this place earns top marks on every level, for me. I could not recommend it more highly, and it is easily one of the 10 best slice places in WNY in my none-too-humble opinion. So in the words of AG, they literally let me have it. Not that. I mean the pizza. Neither Pizza Heist nor AG has ever let me have *that*. And I'm okay with that. I don't like salt with my pepper anyway, I prefer pepperonly. Tomato is another day. I thank Jesus crust I am still here to write about pizza. Dough not ever take anything for granted. If you feel down, locate the sauce of your negativity and get it out of your life. Three cheese for great Buffalo Pizza!

Today, same thing, the food was really good. My friend ordered the macaroni and cheese with pork belly, I tasted the mac and it was delicious! I ordered a bacon, egg burger, asked for it to be cooked well, no pink, and it arrived with lots of pink. Instead of sending it back, I just ate half and brought the rest to go so I can cook and eat it later. Our waiter was great, I forget his name though, nice guy. So, when I arrived at 11:15am there was only one other couple seated. I walked in and said hello to the waitress (think her name was Sally), she gave me a very dry hello, I told her I was waiting for someone, she said they weren't there yet, sat me down for two, said something else but it was under her breath, I couldn't hear her, didn't feel very welcomed but it's okay. Our table had crumbs on it, my menu had crumbs on it. I was disappointed but honestly, I just wanted to have a good brunch with my friend so I cleaned it myself. I finally had a moment to take in the decor and it made me feel a little uneasy as I noticed a Hindu Buddha head, some scary dolls, sculptures and some weird decor going on, goats everywhere except one wall that had monkeys on it. Goats and monkeys are fine, just saying it was weird Whatever. Lol That's fine and all but it's just not my thing.

If you turn right, you are in the restaurant portion with a combination of tables, but mainly booths. There are two TVs on the wall but they are positioned so that only a few tables can comfortably watch them. I had an excellent server named Lindsey who was very attentive and professional. We opted for the specials of the day which was tacos with chunks of lobster meat in it for my husband and I took the sizzling platter that had four grilled shrimp and two pieces of grilled fish which I believe were haddock. My platter came with three small flour tortillas a scoop of sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a scoop of coleslaw and a scoop of macaroni salad. We did receive a basket of chips and salsa immediately upon sitting down in our booth. This salsa was a bit watery and kept falling off our chips. The chips were nothing to write home about as they were not made in a restaurant. My husband enjoyed his two tacos and he was full after that since he had eaten the majority of the chips. My platter had a lot of food on it I ate a shrimp and about half of the fish. One piece of fish was blackened and was seasoned past my comfort level. It was just okay. I also found the ambiance and the decorations to be rather plain. We really could have been in any restaurant, there was little in ways of decoration to let you know it was a Mexican-themed restaurant. There are very high ceilings, so unfortunately all of the music and noise from the bar side came right over to the dining side. I would recommend they reconsider the volume of the music and DJs necessary for a festive atmosphere on the far side when they are in dinnertime dining mode.

First and foremost, this restaurant needs to be cleaned. Top to bottom. The walls, coolers, screens, doors and all covered in greasy fingerprints. The floors look like they have never been mopped properly. The back of the toilet had was covered in a layer of dust, which says to me, even the toilets are not getting wiped down. When I was there on Monday, the bartender didn't wipe down the bar once, even when patrons left. It is gross from every angle and once you see it, you can't unsee it everywhere. If they aren't cleaning the customer facing areas, you better believe they aren't cleaning the kitchen, storage and coolers we don't see. The second item would be the professionalism of the service. While mostly everyone was pleasant, the staff was sort of just hanging out, with all of their personal belongings laying on surfaces, on and off their phones, talking with each other or a customer when other customers had empty drinks etc. the first time we were there we almost left because we came in and didn't see an employee for 15 minutes. I don't. Say this to get anyone in trouble, it just needs attention. Food was good, although it obvious that there are no Mexican's influencing this Mexican restaurant (one dirty bottle of Louisiana hot sauce?). We've tried most of the tacos, quesadillas, queso and salsas. Generally bland but this wouldn't keep me from going back. Vibe was great, especially for a Monday. The place had quite a few patrons and there was an acoustic country singer with a phenomenal voice. I hope this place turns around! Meg

One tip if you're going for the band playing in the front room: don't sit on the enclosed patio. Even with the door open you really can't hear the music from there. I stayed and finished dinner of course because the Reuben was absolutely delicious. One funny moment was being served a beer in a Solo cup. At first it caught me off guard, but honestly with how slammed they were I totally understood -- I wouldn't want to be doing all those extra dishes either. After dinner I moved inside to try to actually hear the band. I ended up seated near the bathrooms, and unfortunately there was a pretty unpleasant smell in that area. Not sure if it was coming from the bathrooms because of how close the table was, but it definitely wasn't the best spot to sit. The hostess who sat me asked if I wanted a drink and I said yes, but about 20 minutes later someone else came over to ask me what I wanted again. I completely get that they were busy, so I'm not upset about it -- but the drink unfortunately never made it to the table. Overall, the food was great and the place clearly draws a crowd for live music, but seating location really matters if you're there for the band
