The pizza was great, just what I was hoping for. Lots of cheese, great tasting sauce, and cup and char pepperoni. Two slices cost around $7.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because of the quality they used to have. But lately? The pizza has been terrible. It's incredibly disappointing because Mustachio's is so close and used to be the perfect weekly pizza spot. But now you're lucky if the dough is cooked through fully. Or in our case tonight.... A burnt crust that somehow surrounded soggy pizza. One bad experience could be chalked up to a bad day. Two bad experiences made us wonder if this was the new norm. But three bad pizzas, in one month? In this economy??? Sadly, it's time for a new spot. read more

We stopped in Buffalo specifically to try the delicious pizza at Mustachio's. The location is mostly for takeout, but it does have a few bar stools at the window for a quick meal. They also sell pizza by the slice. The staff was super friendly, and our order was ready quickly. We enjoyed the delicious pizza before beginning our journey back toward Virginia. read more

I ordered the mini combo with tip came to $42 10 "Hot Garlic Parm" wings. They were swimming in an ocean of hot sauce with a light dusting of Parmesan sprinkled on. There was zero garlic or Parmesan flavor. If you turned hot sauce into a bland gravy that would be a better description. It was the strangest pizza experience of my life. The pizza almost seemed like an obscure math problem. "How do you char the pepperoni while having a pizza dough so undercooked it's almost gooey?!" Top of the pizza nice char and flavor; the pizza dough was so undercooked it was gooey and had almost a gummy texture. Very disappointing, my first time ordering from here and it was only because it was the last pizza place open tonight. It also was the most expensive pizza and wings combo in the area with the poorest quality. This place has the best gluten free pizza in Buffalo and it's not even close! Somehow it's thin like a NYC pizza without being like a cracker and having no flavor. This stuff is incredible. Slap ya Momma good. It tastes like the real thing, which is the highest compliment I can bestow. The staff are all so friendly in person and on the phone while never getting one of my orders wrong! In fact, it's the most consistent pizzeria I know of, even before Bocce's. I always get cup and char pepperoni as my topping and it's cooked exactly how I like it, every time: Crispy on the rim, but not burnt. The cheese and sauce are also soooo good and I'm happy to say that I've had their pizza twice in the past two weeks. I guess I'm just lucky like that. I've never dined in, as I'm not sure you can, so I can't speak to the ambiance, but I'm so grateful WNY has a true gem like this pizzeria in its repertoire. read more

The first thing that struck me was the bright yellow boxes. Just... noteworthy. As to food: -pizza was good. Flavor was full, cheese was great, cupped pepperoni was solid, toppings were very generous by today's standards. Very very greasy. -we ordered five chicken fingers. Don't know if I got the bottom of the bag, which is why we got way more than five, but they were all tiny. -French fries had ZERO salt on them, and a really annoyingly small portion. Got a white pie with anchovies for poker night / highly recommend. But what drove me to review wasn't that. Oh no. It's the Thanksgiving pizza. That's right. Turkey. Stuffing. Mashed potatoes (tasted homemade to us). Cranberry sauce. Corn. And turkey gravy as the sauce. Um-freakin-believable. But, the Pumpkin Pie pizza is just as good. Since we mentioned the issues we had to the caller for an order, the orders were great. So, the manager who responded to my last review, thank you. I'm only updating and catching up on reviews now. We find our orders are better during the week than weekends. Perhaps because they are so busy on weekends. They have THE best antipasto and when the pizzas are taken out on time, they are fabulous; same with the grilled wings, which can be the best. read more

There is a ton of good pizza in Buffalo, and Mustachio's still manages to stand our. I miss their Parkside location. We ordered in advance and ate at their counter. It's not a dine-in place, rather, intended for pickup or delivery. We took up the 4 counter spaces. After reading through all the specialty pizzas, the kids settled on spaghetti and chicken parmesan pizza (on the menu, its meatball but we replaced the meatball with chicken). Certainly not what I would have picked, but am so glad we did. The base of the pie was slightly doughy still, which received high accolades. It had a garlicky, well seasoned crust that paired well with the spaghetti and cheese. A large pizza had 8 generous sized slices. We had to get their self-proclaimed famous salad with strawberries and blueberries and a berry poppyseed dressing. The fruit was very fresh and flavorful. It was pretty big, and easy to share amongst the 5 of us. Dessert included an order of apple logs with warm caramel dipping sauce. They have a pizza log exterior with apple empanada filling (their mind went to Mighty Taco's empanadas). Four logs to an order made for continued easy sharing. We also ordered a chocolate swirl banana bread. Had we known it was just a pre-packaged dessert, I doubt we would have selected it. However, it was delicious. The cashier was friendly, place was bright and clean, and there is a small parking lot behind. We left wishing this was still our neighborhood pizza place. read more

Got a small cheese and pepperoni last week and there was a lot of pepperoni the good old cup and char type where you have to Pat it with a paper towel first it looked pretty good but as I took a few bites I realized the dough had never risen and there was a lot of flour in my mouth so I'm assuming it hadn't sat out at room temperature before they baked it to proof it or forgot the yeast. Very friendly staff at this pizzeria. The whole family enjoyed our pepperoni pizza. It was Buffalo-style with a nice thick, tender crust and plenty of cup n' char pepperoni. I did ask for one of the pizzas to be "light cheese," but it seemed to have just as much as the other pizza. No big deal, but I'm not a huge fan of a thick layer of cheese so I picked some off. I know that pizza can be greasy, but seeing the amount of grease that soaked through the cardboard box was a bit disturbing. Overall it was yummy. I order from here at least once a week. I usually always pick up my food. Lately, I'm getting very disappointed!!! Everything is getting smaller & the price stays the same. I do not recommend pistachios I feel personally they've gone downhill we ordered a pizza so sorry it was just honestly flopping around the cheese wouldn't stay on I don't know if it was undercooked I couldn't make it out I didn't even finish a slice and we ordered chicken fingers absolutely ridiculous that they would consider most of that actual chicken finger they were so small like what was wrong with the chicken it had to be deformed in some way because it definitely wasn't a chicken breast all right do what you want with the information. read more

As I am now in their area, 2 weeks in a row I ordered from Mustachio's. Both times, I ordered a variety of items so that I'd have leftovers to warm up for the week. I've tried two small pizzas and one cold sub & 2 hot varieties and were happy with all. But, today's fish fry is what really made me happy. I always love having mac and potato salad as sides. Especially when they're extremely good. My fish fry definitely made my day. I can see myself being a regular customer. Reading other reviews I noticed that they will customize your wing order. This is something also that makes me very happy, I only like the flats, I won't even eat the other ones. I very rarely get wings even if I am sharing with someone, as there's never a guarantee of flat to drum equity. Knowing that I can get my flats and actually enjoy wings is something to look forward to. Yay me! read more

Drove by this place a handful of times it always looked intriguing. Trying to find another pizza place in the neighborhood, which is Delaware Park. So we tried mustachios. Order pizza pack with 20 wings. I would say the pizza cheese and pepperoni was good, the chicken wings medium were very good, as was an antipasto. And the pricing is very fair. I like the yellow boxes that they put their food in, except for the antipasto which came in a Styrofoam container which was really chintzy for the amount of food that was in there. Could really use a heavy plastic container to support the weight. We will order from there again. read more

Tried out Mustachio's earlier today, and I'm happy I did. I ordered 2 chicken finger subs for myself and my daughter, and they were fantastic. They put huge chicken fingers on the sub and the right amount of sauce and blue cheese. My daughter and I have tried chicken finger subs from all over WNY, but I think we have a new favorite in Mustachio's! We will definitely be regular customers from now on. Grabbed a pie passing through. The taste was okay but I literally used *8* napkins to soak off the grease on a pizza for two. There was more but it was getting cold. I grew up on cup and curl pep so I know to expect grease but just a heads up to get soaking napkins if you're getting carry out and eating on the road. read more

On our way to Buffalo from Niagara on a late night, we decided to try Mustachio's since they were one of the few shops open at the time. We got a large veggie pizza that said 8 slices and we thought with the 4 of us, 2 slices each should be enough. Little did we know that the pizza is huge and loaded. We could only eat 1 slice each. This place is definitely a Buffalo pizza restaurant and what I mean by that is the pizza comes LOADED with toppings. Their menu, even for COVID times, was insane and had so many options I'm glad I started looking for dinner in the early afternoon. You can get delivery or takeout for the time being and the takeout was a bit chaotic because there were so many people picking up their Friday dinner so they made people wait outside until the room cleared up a little. My initial thought was that the pizza was a bit on the expensive side but after seeing the quality of toppings there's no doubt it's worth it. Getting two pizzas for two people was enough to last us a couple days of leftovers! There are so many choices for specialty pizzas it almost makes you want to try one of each. My girlfriend got the Stuffed Pepper pizza and while I didn't have a slice until the next day I can assure you it was just as delicious as a leftover. The contents of that slice almost seemed to be under the cheese. I got the Stinger pizza and that too was a very thick, very Buffalo like pizza slice, filled with everything a stinger should have. Medium sauce on the Stinger was not as spicy as I would've thought. I think because we got takeout the pizza didn't taste super fresh when we ate it for dinner that night seeing as I live 25 minutes away. But I will say the pizza heated up the next day made a great lunch. If you do happen to get takeout might be best to just put it back in the oven for a little bit and that doesn't only apply to this restaurant! A true Buffalo guilty pleasure pizza restaurant. The menu is so much more than just pizza so if you live close or are even looking to drive a bit to get out of the house, this is a great place to try! read more
