Of course, we needed to grab some pizza while in Buffalo and opted to stop by Bella Pizza on a hopping Saturday night for some slices to go. We had called in an order for some cheese slices, some pepperoni slices and a salad. When we got the food out, however, it turns out we got all cheese slices. The salad was loaded with black olives, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, and cheese. The dressing was well packaged in a small cup wrapped in plastic, perfect for transit. The food was all quite tasty and was much enjoyed. Staff was courteous and efficient. There is a small parking lot available out front and it was hopping! Stopped at Bella's and got a Ham Sub that was pretty heavy was perfectly made and a toasted roll! And some mild wings that was crispy and meaty delicious! You can't go wrong with cheese and pep and they have specials for a large pizza on Mon and Wed. Also, you should always order the breadsticks. You get a single order of 5 with a cup of sauce and they are a nice little appetizer. Service: also 5/5. The staff are quick and efficient because there is usually a line, but they are always so nice. Ambiance: it's a pizza shop so I don't know what you would expect. They have a large counter with slices and breadsticks ready to go for lunch, and a dessert case. They also have cold pop to pair with your meal. I ordered a assorted wrap to be delivered... I asked for it to be cut in half, double onion, mayo, oil, light tomatoes and lettuce. I was told that it is automatically cut in half.... The wrap was delivered and it was not cut in half, there was NO lettuce or tomato , and NO oil and mayo. It was wrapped so loose that as soon as I wrapped it and picked it up and tried to wat my 1st bite, the whole thing fell apart and fell on the floor. I immediately called Bella to let them know. They offered to replace it, I told them that I wasn't going to be her, would be leaving very soon and wouldn't be around to wait for it. The manager offered to give me credit for only half of it, oh and I was also told that the person who took my order lied about them automatically cut in half and they sometimes so write down the specific instructions. When i asked why she only wanted to reimburse me for only half, her actual response was: " How do I know that you are not lying? Really how rude and unprofessional. Used to order from them all the time and now there refusing my order. I called and told the person that I was going to do a delivery with a credit card. After she gave attitude towards me before giving the credit card so I hung up. So a delivery guy shows up and I had to refuse the delivery. This is the best pizza and wings hands down! We order from here a couple times a month and I stop in for a slice when I'm working. Today we ordered for the Bills game online and went to go pick it up and the car wouldn't start . I called back to let them know and they offered to deliver instead which I completely embraced! They originally thought it was a street closer to them but we ended up being out of their delivery zone and delivered it to us anyway! Love the pizza here. Giant slice with pepperoni crisped, cupped edges... delicious. The stuffed banana pepper pizza is my favorite. Def a must try if you never had it before. They used to have the dining area open which make the place feel as if it always about to close. Not much to the inside as you walk in through two doors to give your name/order to get your food. Gets quite cramped inside on busy days. People sometimes can block the door as you're trying to exit with food. All in all, a good place for pizza. Expensive, but good. My husband's favorite; pretty sure it's because he grew up with it. Their pizza is consistently good - thick "Buffalo-style" crust, plenty of cheese, and the classic cup n' char pepperoni. I also love their crinkle cut fries and chicken fingers (they're big and have a crunchy coating). Some how the fries manage to stay hot and crispy despite a 35 minute drive. My wife loved her chicken fajita pizza. I liked the cheese and pepperoni however it was very greasy. We loved their Greek salad. We ate in and the place is not the cleanest. Best Buffalo-style Pizza I've ever had. I loved Zip's (hit or miss), Imperial (still do), but Bella is juicier, tastier, wetter, better. But I've heard that wetter *is* better. Synonyms aside, if you don't like Buffalo-style Pizza, try Bella's huge, hot, melty, slippery, saucy, sexy slice, and put your pizza palate to the ultimate test in WNY terms. It really is that good, that if you don't like it, I will admit you just don't like Buffy Pizza and will stop trying. But don't be afraid of how wet, slippery, piping hot (always make sure it's piping hot), cheesy, bready, and pepperoni-y it is. Some don't like sweet pizza, but I don't find this sweet. There are hints of sugar in almost everything made in America (lol) but this is rich and perfect like David Beckham. Not dark/heavy/salty, but certainly not syrupy. For sweet, head up to Lockport's Pizza Oven - so sweet, but not my thing. Now if you *do* like Buffalo Pizza, then holy moly, or molé if you go to nearby Vallé of Méxicoé (trying to use as many accéntéd és as possiblé bécausé I héard from a friénd of a formér lovér that accénts gét guys laid. You can névér say I didn't try, amirité?) But yes if you *do*, then try Bella. You may find your new fave. Big, wet, melty-cheesy, greasy-pepperoni, shiny-shimmery, sexy-slippery, one of the best slices I've ever put in my mouth (and I've put plenty in my mouth, so to speak), it inches (I love the word inches) ahead of others for many reasons including consistency. I've yet to be given a cold, dry or congealed slice, or one which didn't equal previous standards. No other WNY Pizzeria has achieved that unrivaled consistency in my experience, nor do most taste anywhere near this good. The biggest testament to excellence: I drive 45 mins from my house to get here (well, 35, but if any cops are reading, it was a typo, I meant 45), passing 238 pizzerias on the way. Nearby Imperial (top 5, I often get both) is dry, doughier, still unequivocally delicious. The wings here are good, but I prefer Imperial & Wise Guys (Hertel). Come down to South Buffalo, try Mineo's, Imperial, Bella. Don't judge WNY Pizza until then. Bella gave me my groove back just like Stella, The crust is so good it can be eaten Acapella, The cheese is like Chris Martin (all Yella), With crispy Pepperoni swimming in the Mozarella. If it was in Brazil it would rule the Favela, If my tummy is a cell then this pizza's the Flagella, If Pizza Hut's a one-liner, this is a Novella, This slice is "Taylor Lautner", not Edward or Bella. I ran so fast to get here, I ruptured my Patella, When I slipped in the rain and almost caught Rubella, Until Rihanna let me stand under her Umbrella. Ella Ella. Eh Eh Eh. We went to the Pub and we shared a pint of Stella, We Netflix & Chilled while we watched Barbarella, We made out and listened to Michael Jackson's Thrella, She showed me her Hopeless Place, I showed her my Goodfella. I had her like Cabaret had Liza Minella, I got repelled like Citronella when I ate her Paella, But I chose not to tell her, that she smelled of Mortadella, Cuz she looked like Cinderella and I ruled her like Mandela. I stop by Bella's for a slice just about every time I go visit my parents since it's along the way. Their slices are huge. Matter of fact, their slices are so big that they do not fit in the typical pizza slice boxes so they use large styrofoam take out containers. A big thing for me to make a good pizza is the sauce and Bella's sauce is flavorful and plentiful, I've also gotten a ham sub from there and that was good too. The dining area is huge so you can always find a place to sit and eat and the staff has always been friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend! read more

This place is one of the best pizza places in the area. That's why I wanted to support them during the pandemic by getting takeout. This is my seventh time here. This pizzeria suggests ordering online and then paying online with a credit card to reduce unnecessary contact during the pandemic. I ordered and paid that way. I ordered mild chicken fingers which came with blue cheese and fries. I asked for a larger blue cheese while ordering. I also ordered a small cheeseburger bacon pizza. The base was cheddar cheese and it was absolutely fantastic. A coworker told me (months ago) that their chicken fingers are the best in the area and that's SO true!!! There is a barrier that hangs low between the customer and the cashier, with enough room to slip your food to you. There was a minimal wait. The last time I ordered from here was three months ago. My family has been avid Bella customers since they opened in Lackawanna. Tonight I placed a large order, including 2 whole subs, a large julienne salad, a double order of stuffed mushrooms, and a slice. When I got home from picking it up, my husband 2 bites of his chicken parmesan sub to find that the fingers were burnt to a crisp. We called and after a few tries we got through. We were connected with a manager named Luciano. He offered to make a new sub and send it out, but based on how busy they are, the time it takes to make a new sub, and deliver it to my house, it would have taken well over 30 minutes. The alternative was to place a credit on my acct for 1/2 a sub. I can't see compensating the cost of 1/2 a sub when the entire sub is not edible. Luciano stated that those are the only to options he could offer. I would have no problem bringing the burnt sub back to the restaurant tomorrow, but as I have company tonight that it would more rude for me to leave than how Luciano stated is able to "fix" the situation! I prefer thin crust NY style pizza. I know that's an unpopular opinion in Buffalo and I was convinced into trying their pizza. I'm still not the biggest fan of plain cheese or pepperoni, but everyone needs to try their cowboy steak pizza. It sounds like it's a lot going on, but it's a perfect meal. BBQ sauce base, with steak, melted cheese, and topped with crispy thick-cut onion rings. Every pizza you get is huge, so you'll have plenty of food, even with a small pie. Their breadsticks are also great. Perfectly seasoned with lots of Parmesan cheese sprinkled on, served with a red sauce. The thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the wings. Yes, they're super big, but usually that makes them a little fattier than I like. Another fantastic visit. I will say, however, that this is not cheap pizza. A large cheese and pepperoni with 20 wings cost us $30 for their special. I did want to make a note that this restaurant needs to pay more attention to the cleanliness of their bathrooms. The women's room was out of paper towels when we were there. How is this possible? Your employees are using this bathroom and I assume they're washing their hands before they go back to touching food, RIGHT?? Aren't they more than well aware that you're out of paper towels? Also, mopping is good for daily cleaning, but occasionally you do have to get on your hands and knees and scrub into the corners of the bathroom. Built up dirt and filth was in all the corners of the women's restroom. Gross. And the men's restroom reeked like urine ( we had to go in to get some paper towels.) I have grown up with Bella's. I remember when they were in a small store front next to dairy queen. So for almost 50 years this place has been spectacular. so I now live in Cleveland and will always stop in for pizza and wings when I'm in Lackawanna. I recently got Large pizza and double order of wings from Bella pizzeria.The wings were fine, but the pizza was burnt. We both tried a slice, didn't finish it because it was not good .So I call and I spoke to the manager named Steve . I explained the problem and he said to me , you ate 2 slices there is nothing I can do. I said you mean to tell me you can't just make me 6 new slices that are not burnt and you can have the burnt ones back? Steve said no you should've returned the whole pizza when you saw it was burnt.He was very condescending. So I said you shouldn't have sent out a burnt pizza it looks nothing like the pizza on your website .So I explained I wanted to try it and that's how I found out it wasn't good. I didn't want a refund I just wanted fresh slices that tasted good and weren't burnt.I couldn't believe my ears when he refused to do nothing about it.
