I often get pizza and wings from here and they're pretty consistent. This is takeout, mind you, but still. My inlaws live in Boston and when my husband and I come to visit, Bella is often called. I've never had an issue here. We just ordered here today and everything was yummy as per usual. I got a gluten free pizza as I unfortunately have an allergy. It's thin crust, but the sauce, cheese, and toppings are all on point. I got bacon and banana peppers as my toppings this tome and everything melyed just the way I like it. We also ordered medium and barbecue chicken wings for my family. Unfortunately, the bbq wings were too spicy for me, which is usually not the case. It's the only inconsistency I've ever noticed. However, the medium wings were flavorful and crispy...just how I like them! I suggest this pizza parlor the next time you're in Boston. It's food is good and the prices are reasonable. Really enjoyed the pizza here. It was thick and big and was all buffalo pizza style with the little grease pot pepperonis. Yum. Even had red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on the slice which is not always available at a pizza place. The folks next to us ordered fried dough with powdered sugar all over it. The lady compared it to a funnel cake at the Erie County Fair. Looked really good. The menu includes pizza, various wing flavors, subs and other stuff. self proclaimed pizza snob from buffalo now living in nyc. this is hands down the best pizza in the southtowns - and the instagram account @sexyslices (dedicated to reviewing buffalo pies) would also agree. ignore the negative reviews here and order!!! if you are picky about your pizza (light sauce, well done, etc.) - just make that request when ordering and they will accommodate! the stuffed banana pepper pizza is out of this world - i order it without the red sauce (see photo). i've never introduced it to anyone who hasn't also fallen in love. seriously the best. i can't attest to delivery but have ordered takeout from here at least 100 times and have never had a bad experience or my order wrong. great customer service and the food is always hot and ready for pick up in a very timely manner - even on football sundays. read more

My husband abs I LOVE Bella pizza. We have been busy and exhausted lately and decided to get Pizza abs actually have it delivered this time. We were told it would be about 45 minutes. We had paid over the phone to minimize contact based on the coronavirus pandemic. We were busy at home waiting for our pizza and realized it had been an hour and we don't have our pizza yet. So we called to find out if they were lost and what was going on and it turned out they left our pizza on the ground near the door 30 minutes ago. They said she knocked and left the pizza. So, the driver didnt like wait to see if someone came to get the pizza before we left... they didn't call our cell phone numbwr that was provided when we ordered... they didn't knock and wait to see us through the glass and then go away.. like many different options were available, but they just left the pizza on the ground. My husband was very upset and called back asking for a hot pizza and they said they just closed for the night, so they would just give us a credit and we could get a hot delivered pizza next time we wanted one. Okay. Still annoying, but it's fine. We warmed up our pizza. So we call back a week later looking to have the same exact pizza delivered. I explain that there should be a credit on the account and the person on the other line says no, we own an extra $5 for delivery. I was frustrated and said, that was not the case, the issue was with the delivery so that should have been included. They say okay and get our delivery out to us. Then the driver is in the driveway with our hot pizza and is refusing to give it to us until we settle up for the delivery fee. I could not believe it. Out pizza is sitting in this car getting cold and we are fighting over the same $5 I already had words about earlier. She called us and we protested the $5 and then she had to call the manager of the store. Ugh!! Eventually we got our pizza, but the fact that they were supposed to right a wrong this way was like this was frustrating. We've probably ordered Pizza 10 times since then and unfortunately have not wanted to order Bella because of the frustration. We've actually paid more money for more expensive pizza that we like less because of it. In a time where prices are high and food costs are high the least that can be provided is good customer service. When we called to place our food order the person on the other end of the phone was less then helpful. They where unresponsive after we placed the order for the first item and then continued to be silent on the phone. Last week I came into Bella's Pizza Boston to pick up my wife's pizza, and I was greeted terribly by one of your workers. I didn't get her name but she had choppy black curly hair, a nose piercing, and big eyelashes. When pulling out my credit card, she mumbled under her breath "slow old hag" and then ripped the card out of my hand. She didn't say anything else to me, other than handing me the food and scoffing. Then when they call back has another worker laugh at them?? Or when a fish fry is delivered with no fish, makes them wait an hour and a half for it? There's too much more to write. My friend recommended this place we decided to give it a try. We ordered a large pizza with 20 mild Buffalo chicken wings. I have to say the pizza just cooked perfectly right! Crispy on the edge and sauce deliciously yum.Wings cooked perfectly crispy outside.Inside of the wings are a bit over cooked. Not much taste inside of the meat though. New to the area and have been trying to support local businesses. We saw that the store closes at 9PM and called at 8:20 to order takeout. The phone rang three times and then a girl picked up the phone and said, "Sorry we're closed." And then immediately hung up. It was extraordinarily rude and poor customer service. Visited last night 8/21/23 about 7:30 pm. BIG MISTAKE!! 2 of us Had a few slices of pizza and 2 drinks. $24.00 OUCH. Pizza was very well done. Cheese was burned, pepperoni was burned and the crust was dry and hard. Should have sent it back. Ate about half of a slice and threw the rest out. We ate on the patio which was our 2nd mistake. The perimeter of the patio was completely overgrown with at least 2 foot weeds. Probably hasn't been attended to all Summer. Not very inviting or welcoming. I called the manager, Mike, just to let him know, rather than flaming him on here, and unsurprisingly he had plenty of excuses. He even said he would pay me to come and pull the weeds. What a complete asshole! Looking at the place and ordering sub-standard food there, his attitude was not surprising. This is your manager? Needless to say, I'll never set foot into that place again. This place has gone down the tubes far as quality and consistency are concerned. The last order(actual last order) pizza was doughy and wings were rubbery even though we ordered extra crispy. When first opened was one of the best but new owners/management drove this place into the ground as far as we are concerned. We could walk there from our house but will go to Brunner's or drive into Hamburg before ever ordering from here again. Last order of large pie and double crappy wings ended up in the trash. Let me begin by stating, unequivocally, that pizza is my favorite food on planet Earth. My love for the pie borders on obsession. Whoops, my bad; The Pie. (Caps necessary for something as divine as pizza). For some glorious reason I can't explain, I have had an intense love affair with traditional pepperoni pizza since I was two. Can I get an Amen? All right, so having established that let me now offer my take on the food at Bella Pizza. In a nutshell, it's ALL good. By all, I mean the pizza, the wings, subs, and the numerous standard Italian dishes from spaghetti and meatballs to eggplant parmigiana. Since it's a pizzeria we are talking about, let me offer more specifics on their pies. For starters a pizza from Bella is your typical Buffalo pizza in terms of thickness. Think thicker than NYC but thinner than Chicago. The dough is fresh and cooked to just the right amount of doneness. In many years of ordering from Bella's, I have never once eaten a burned or raw crust. I realize sauce is a highly personal thing; some prefer sweet, others are into spicy. I like either option, and I tend to order accordion to my mood at the time. I can tell you Bella's sauce is tasty, and somewhere in the middle in terms of the sweet/spicy ratio. The toppings are generously provided, and yummy to boot. I'm not a huge fan of broccoli on pizza, but I do eat it from time to time when I'm trying to be more health conscious. Very often pizzerias will give you small, over cooked, mushy broccoli crowns. Not so at Bella's. If you are a fan of the "green pie," you simply MUST try a broccoli pizza from this place. As for my all-time favorite food, straight ol' pepperoni pizza, I can tell you it's simply heavenly here. The pepperoni is amply supplied, and it has a mouth-watering crispness and just the right amount of spice. Bella's offers both dine-in and take-out. Be advised, however, this is a very popular establishment. If you show up anywhere near the traditional dinner hour, you may have to wait before a seat opens up. But don't leave! Trust me, it will be worth the extra time. read more

I've been here a ton of times since they opened in Boston, and the Lackawanna one before that. The foods ALWAYS great, and if you have an issue, they make it right. I always get the pizza well done, and wings crispy, plus they have the best medium wings in Buffalo. The sauce just has good flavor to it. Also, get the breadsticks. I'm sure it's just their pizza dough cut into strips, but there's just something about them that make you wish you had ordered the 10 piece, and not just the 5 piece. The only issue i've ever had was when they forgot to split an order of wings into two sauces. They caught it before I did, and as I was calling them to just give them a heads up, in case it was the wrong order; the driver was knocking at my door with a new order of wings, and they said to keep both. read more
