    Pepperoni Pizza

Cute place, good service too. I'd come back to try other dishes. Bruschetta bread 10/10 Bread is just a simple sub roll. Soft inside and a slight crisp outside, perfectly toasted. The bruschetta was the perfect amount and cheese Pepperoni Pizza 8/10 Pizza was good. Nice and cheesy. Sauce was regular but had a slight sweetness, it was also very light. The pizza could have used more sauce. Wings - med - crispy 6/10 They were a little too crispy. So much so that the chicken was dry. The medium is more like a mild, no spice to it at all, and didn't coat them very well. The blue cheese is not the best either. Cheese ravioli 8/10 The kids said the marinara sauce on it was a little spicy for them. I didn't notice it much though. The cheese inside the raviolis was really soft and a good flavor too. French fries 8/10 Pretty good. Could use a few more seconds for some more crunch though.

Miss working downtown and eating here weekly, so door dashed to get my fix! The pizza is always solid. Sauce is so good, pizza always cooked to perfection. But my favorite is their subs. All the goombadi subs are just so good. For me, the best steak chicken or sausage subs in the area. Their stuffed peppers are really good, then throw that on some good seasoned meats, winner! Side note, their bar selection is good as well. $10.00 Pappy pours for my bourbon drinkers!

First time coming to this spot and was so glad I chose it. Nice bar area where I sat and ordered a pepperoni pizza while I had a blue moon. Mike behind the bar was very friendly and got me everything I needed once the delicious pizza came out. The pizza was perfect tasted like a pan pizza crust and had lots of cheese and crispy pepperoni which had a little kick to it. Overall really like the vibe and will definitely be back again soon!

Small Deep Dish with Sausage & Olive

Im staying in a nearby hotel and was looking for a decent pizza. I found it about a block away @ Casa di Pizza. I opted for the small deep dish and it was more than I could even think about polishing off. That just means I have dinner for the next night of my stay. The crust was about was expected and the sauce, cheese and toppings were all stacked on just right. One suggestion, and they will tell you as well, let it sit for five minutes once it's brought to the table. It'll still be screaming hot and letting it sit helps the toppings all connect with the crust. This is a cool location with the dining area in the back. The to-go counter is at the front. It was kept clean and tidy as folks were coming and going. There are at least 7 tv's going to keep you up on sporting events as well. Music is piped in with song choices being available by a digital jukebox. Definitely worth a try if in the area.

Been here numerous times and everytime the pizza was cut tavern style. This time it in triangles. The mozzarella to sauce ratio was not up to par and tasted gross.

I stopped here many times for slices of pizza, when working downtown. They're all good but their best is their cheese and pepperoni. I recently had a whole steak and cheese sub and a stinger sub. Both were amazing! Great ambiance and service here too!

Picked up a take out order , it was speedy service with a smile. I ordered the garlic parmesan fries ,they were crispy but I expected more garlic and cheese.I also got my hot, tasty, delicious veggie pizza. It includes spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese in a tomato sauce base. They also have hot and cold subs, salads, wings and chicken fingers.

Spinach Bread and Small Brick Oven Pizza Cheese and Mushroom

Had a pretty average experience with JJ's on a Friday night! Unfortunately, I don't know that this review is based on the full potential of their pizza. I preordered on the Slice app for a 6:30 PM pickup time. I got a notification at 5:30 that my order was ready. Neither me or my boyfriend were available to get it then (which is kinda why I preordered the food), so it was sitting there for a good hour before I was able to get it. We got an order of the spinach bread and a small brick oven-style pizza, half cheese, half mushroom. The food was cold, as you'd probably expect, but the taste was pretty decent! I really enjoyed the bread and the pizza was thin, which I enjoyed. One thing that was odd was that there was a LOT of what we think was cornstarch (to keep the pizza from sticking to the tray while cooking) on the bottom of the pizza. Like a lot a lot. It was all over our table and our clothes by the time we were done eating. I might try here again in the future, but I was kinda bummed that I spent $30 for food that wasn't even warm. If you do order through the Slice app (or any food delivery/pickup app), I would suggest ordering soon before you want to eat rather than preordering!

    The huge pasta portion!

Pizza by the slice is almost extinct in downtown Buffalo--except for Casa di Pizza. Great place for a quick pizza lunch or snack.

To their credit, they curtained off each table to make it seem fancy, added a red table cloth and gifted us a tulip. The set up ended up being very nice. Everything tasted pretty good. The only glaring issue was that most items that came out did not seem to be particularly hot. It was busy for the holiday so can't be too mad about. Bread and oil was standard. Meatball was great. i loved the risotta bites sauce - very peppery. Bisque was fine - the croutons were excellent, just needed it warmer. Chicken parm was large portion (this came out hot). Salmon and mashed were good, white wine sauce was very tasty. Again Just needed the fish to be a touch warmer. Pretty well done for a nice Valentine's day dinner.

Also many people waiting to pick up orders, so the front was also too busy for getting pix. Another thing I would recommend is sitting at table instead of booth. We sat in a booth. The problem with the booths, or at least the first booth from door, is either the seats are too low or the table is too high. Terrific fish fry: haddock with two sides. Loved the light breading on this. Also available is the Buffalo classic fish fry-- beer battered and fried, standard sides... fries, Cole slaw, mac salad. Very interesting menu. Inviting. So I will be accepting the invitation to come back for the Portside (lobster sandwich), and for the seafood fries. More reviews to follow. Very personable employees, enjoyable decor. Music a tad loud, and incongruous. I read a review from last year that described the music, though also too loud, as R&B. That sounds just right. Maybe dance music gets people to eat faster, desirable for quicker table turnover. There were people waiting for tables as we left. Only negative for me was thin ranch dressing and thin tartar sauce.

Soon we learned that he was not only very friendly, but also fast, energetic, and attentive. Check out the menu. There's something for everyone who's craving seafood. We visited in the late afternoon on Friday. My partner wanted the traditional Buffalo Fish Fry. I was looking for something that wasn't a deep-fried carb overload :). At a certain point, new guests began streaming into the restaurant - including those who were there just for takeout orders. Our food arrived straight from the kitchen and was still piping hot.The Fish Fry received nothing but good reviews. The beer batter was crispy and flavorful. The haddock was flaky and perfectly cooked as well. The order was missing the corn muffin, but the rest of the sides were there, house-made and delicious. The Lexington dish on The Mains menu sounded more sophisticated than it actually tasted. It was very good indeed, but it lacked a bit of 'zing', something to elevate its flavor from being flat. The broccoli was boiled and served as a side dish. Had it been char-grilled (as indicated on the menu) perhaps it would have added more flavor and texture to the dish? Anyway, as I mentioned, my course was very good/satisfying. I should have asked for at least some lemon wedges. Next time I'll definitely order the Shrimp Po Boy :). The two shrimps I had were perfect. Truly succulent; tender, juicy and sweet. Yummy!

I don't know what they're paying that girl, but I can guarantee it's not enough to put up with that the way she did. 10/10 service and 10/10 recommend giving her a raise! The restaurant was very very hot inside. Halfway through the appetizer I started getting very warm and sweaty. Allison was our server. Super sweet and friendly server. She checked on us as needed, which was perfect. The food wasn't anything super memorable though. Firecracker shrimp 8/10 Pretty good. Shrimp was cooked well and the flavor was good too. I do wish the cabbage was coleslaw, just makes it a tiny bit better of a dish. More edible than plain cabbage. Chipotle shredded chicken taco 8/10 I somehow ended up getting 1 beef and 1 chicken. Allison was very sweet after letting her know my taco was beef, she offered another chicken taco for free. When I turned it down, she also offered another drink. *Moist chicken, and a lot of it! Definitely not chipotle flavored though. The rest of the toppings were good additions. A chipotle sour cream might be nice, and a little bit more to reach the perfect wet:dry ratio. *The beef was good too, piled high again. It had a bit of noticeable congealed grease in it though. Beer battered haddock taco 6/10 The fish was cooked good but the taco as a whole was suuuper dry. There's nothing wet on there besides the little tiny strip of sour cream. To make this better: turn the cabbage into a coleslaw, and add a crema or tomato salsa or something else to balance out the wet:dry ingredients better.
