They are pretty large, not really bite sized, and they were kinda plain to me, not really medium. I'd say barely any hot sauce/flavor (Which is surprising for me to say as someone who doesn't tolerate spicy well). Ton of mozzarella cheese on it too. The pizza was very good, but somehow not what I imagine when I think of chicken finger pizza. read more

Ordered a large chicken finger and a small cheese pep and breadsticks. Chicken finger had great presentation at first look. Pizza was undercooked super doughy and tasted like flour, was lacking in sauce and no crisp on the handle. Small cheese and pep lacked cheese and pep, this pizza was cooked a little better but still lacked cheese all the way to the handle. Ordered a couple of pizzas the other day. Just no flavor at all. One was the white pizza. Covered in tomatoes, that tasted like nothing, nada. There was no cheese on the pizza. There was a sprinkle, yet nothing else. Just tomatoes and dough. We were very surprised. The other pizza, same issue. Looked and smelled good yet zero flavor. Wings were delicious, great flavor. Pizza was very buffalo-esque. Thick dough, wide crust, tons of cheese! The sauce is very very sweet, which I am not a fan of to be honest. But that doesn't take away this place deserving 5 stars. I would definitely get wings again and try their other stuff. But if you like sweet sauce, this is the spot to go. I ordered the old world pizza and some bbq charred wings. They were all perfect! Loved that pizza and loved the wings. I will definitely be returning. The service was outstanding. This was a mixed bag for me, but the positive in the bag was really positive and the not so positive was not bad at all. So first, the white pizza. I love a good white pizza and for me this one was lacking just a bit. It didn't have the flavor punch I would want, but it definitely wasn't bad. Just not the best I had with a lack of flavor. The breadsticks had a great portion size, but again didn't quite have much flavor. The sauce tasted canned in that it definitely had a metallic tang. But the good... the classic pepperoni pizza (plus some mushrooms). If you want a standard, no frills kind of pizza, this is it. It was delicious and nostalgic and one I would definitely eat again. So to summarize: if you want a standard pizza, a-plus. If you want a fancier staple, look elsewhere. read more

Why would I drive from Orchard Park to Tonawanda for a fish fry from a pizzeria? Cuz it was awesome! A huge piece of fish crispy outside and flaky on the inside, delicious creamy coleslaw, shoestring fries and lots of them, and not the usual slice of rye bread but instead garlic bread made from their pizza dough, absolutely delicious. And on top of all that they throw in a couple breaded shrimp. Fish fry comes with a generous amount of lemon, coleslaw and tartar sauce. Would I go the distance again, absolutely! read more

If you're wondering if their signature white pizza is really that good, let me assure you... it's THAT good. When I'm in the mood for a thicker crust pizza, this is my current fave. The crust is nice and crispy on the outside, and toppings are yuuuum. Especially the cheese and herb mixture on top. We'll often get chicken fingers and French fries as well "for the kids", but I'll eat half of them. I'm not totally sure why but they are really good here! The only have small and large pizzas, no mediums, and a small pizza gets you six slices. So for my family of four (two little guys), we usually get one small white pizza for the grown ups and one small cheese pizza for the kiddos and end up with a bunch leftover. First the pizza, the right amount of cheese and sauce which was very tasty. Only complaint on the pizza was the amount of pepperoni, we got it on half and I literally counted 17 roni's. Breadsticks were ok, the dipping sauce was very good. The antipasto was huge! There was a ton of meats on it! Lettuce was fresh as were the onions and tomatoes. We ordered o line and got take out and when I went I. To get it I was greeted immediately by a friendly employee who wasted no time getting my items and thanking me and wishing me a good night. Three words- Old World Pizza. Don't know if any other places in the area that makes this kind and it's a favorite in my entire family (I'm talking extended, and out of the country). This isn't your typical "Buffalo" pizza, it's mostly sauce with spices, olive oil and sprinkled with Romano cheese, and the crust is thick. SO, so good! No grease and not loaded with cheese so it's delicious and also you don't feel as guilty eating it. However, their regular style pizza that is loaded with cheese is also really good, so you can always go that route if you prefer. I feel like unless you grew up in the Town of Tonawanda or know someone who did that you may not know about this place. It's in a little building with a barbershop. There isn't dine-in options here (that I know of). Always smells so good when driving by too. Service is always great! They are nice, and food doesn't usually take longer than 20/25 minutes when busy, we have found. Our usual pizza place that never disappoints! read more

Gino has the nerve to greet his customers with a statue of the Blessed Virgin. A statue of Al Capone would be more appropriate. Don't spend all your chump change in one place. I love that I can order through Yelp. It makes things super easy on nights when I just don't have the energy to talk to a person. But I also appreciate that they make it super easy to order over the phone too, including specials. I'll be honest, their pizza isn't my favorite out of the three places near me. But hands down their wings are the best of the three. It's interesting that some other people love the sauce on the pizza. For me though, it's just not my favorite sauce. Still a great pizza, especially paired with some wings. Ultimately you need to try the different places yourself and figure out what suits your taste. The food was VERY good and what really impressed me was the guy ringing me out started chatting with me and I told him it'd been years since I was here, as in twenty, since I moved out of state, and he found a coupon for me to use next time was in in town. This was by far the worst Buffalo, NY eatery for subs I've ever had. Born & raised in Buffalo, but now live on the west coast... I was happy to order my favorites: chicken finger sub & steak sub. However... They were completely inedible. Starters, they seemed like they were just doused in liquid. The chicken fingers weren't even tossed in the hot sauce. It just seemed like it was poured over the entire sub. Also, they were wrapped in a fashion so that all the liquid was all over the top & bottom of the bread so they were completely soggy. What an awesome place to get fish fry! My husband brought fish fry and pizza for dinner, and they were really good. First of all, the fried fish is HUGE! The fish fry comes with coleslaw, garlic bread, and fries. The coleslaw is on the wetter side, but it was still good. The garlic bread looks like a regular slice of pizza, except it's thin crusted and has only cheese and garlic on it. It was a bit salty and chewy but still okay. The fries are thin-cut and salted and the texture and crispiness was a lot like Mc Donald's fries, but with more potato flavor (if that makes any sense). The price of the fish fry was amazing too. It was about $11, which was unbelievable for the amount of food! We got a large pepperoni pizza, and the crust was very thick and doughy. I think if you want New York-style pizza, this may not be your place to go. Also there was a little too much grease on top of the pizza, so I had to dab the pizza with paper towels (not because I don't like pizza grease, but because it looked gross). The pizza was okay, but not our favorite. Overall, I think Gino's is a great place for fish fry, but I think we'll stick with our regular pizza places for pizza. read more
