Stopped in to Olisi's for their NYC style pizza! Thin crust and huge slices! We had all kinds of flavors plus their garlic knots! My son had a cheese burger sub which looked amazing and he said tasted amazing! Man on Friday dinner hour that place is very busy dine in or take out! Guess we are not the only ones who find it a great food venue in the Town of Tonawanda! Enjoy!

First time at Olisi's. I've been to Buffalo several times and have been craving "NY style pizza." I really like that they have options of slices so that I can try variety without ordering whole pizzas. I got... - basic calzone with pepperoni: this was amazing!!! It was freshly baked and the cheese was sooooo gooey and hot. I loved this calzone and this was the best calzone I have ever had. - garlic knots: love it with the marinara sauce. This was also really good. - steak pizza: i think this was like philly cheese steak in a pizza. A bit heavy but amazing taste. Just a few bites and I was getting full so I had to stop eating this slice to taste the others. - basic cheese: good cheese, not overpowering and crispy crust - pepperoni and sausage: amazing taste. Surprisingly this was not salty at all!! Usually pepperoni pizzas are too salty but this was just right. - chicken fingers pizza(?): different but tasty, saucy but not overpowering. Also, I really want to give a shout to the owner and the staff at Olisi's. I accidentally left my wallet on the table and they found me via facebook and let me know right away. Usually people just wait until someone calls but they went above and beyond to find me. Then they held my wallet in the back until I came back. I couldn't thank them enough!! I will definitely be back to try more variety next time!

If you're looking for NY style pizza Olisi's is a great option. Tons of drinks to choose from, can dine in or take out. Restaurant is clean and looks like a simple pizzeria/Italian eatery. We enjoy it for quick lunches and dinner solutions for the family on the fly. Wait is never too long and staff is alway good. I personally don't love the flavor of the BBQ they use on pizzas but that's my only real dislike here, other than that I've enjoyed each and every slice I've tried!

The food wasn't bad, but very basic. It was ready on time, and as fresh as it could be. There is a lot of flop to the pizza, but the crust had a good flavor. May try some other items at some point.

Let's start off by saying I'm a thin crust girl. Pizza is a very controversial subject in Buffalo and some people prefer thicker crust. There are some serious pizza reviewers who will tell you this place is one of the best, and I have to agree. It's a good thin slice where all the topping won't slide off and you can eat it how it's supposed to be ate. The sauce isn't too sweet like some places and the cheese is good. The people who work there are really helpful as well.

** COVID-19 REVIEW ** We were in the mood for pizza but wanted to try a new place just to shake it up in these dull-drum times. We like "NY" style pizza and heard that this place is really good. We called on a Saturday night and since we were picking up, it was only a 30 minute wait. We arrived right on time and all our food was ready for us. We scored our timing because three other people came in right after us to get their orders so we didn't have to wait for our turn. The drive home was torturous as it smelled SO good! We couldn't wait to open the boxes! We ordered a large pizza, garlic knots, and single order (extra crispy) chicken wings. OMG, everything tasted amazing!! Wings were perfect, the pizza crust was on point, and garlic knots were perfectly doughy and buttery. We will definitely revisit this place again and probably try some other menu items. For a place that isn't mentioned as some other local pizza places, I highly recommend this joint in the Northtowns.

The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

The sandwich was great and really salty (per the custom), but the bread became soggy pretty quick. I would dip it in the jus and try to bite it but the meat just couldn't be bit through and no matter how hard I tried it just made a sloppy mess. That was disappointing. The wings were ordered Medium Hot which they warn you is "Very Hot"... but it isn't. They were good, but next time I will order Hot because there was little to no burn. The fries were the frozen variety but nice, skinny and crispy. I liked dipping them in the leftover wing sauce. Next time, I will skip the sandwich and just get wings and fries. Hopefully it won't take me 5 years to come back.

It was a bit busy (30-40 min wait for dining area), but there were a few tables off to the right of the bar where you could seat yourself. Luckily, one opened up right as we walked in. When seated at these tables, you have to order at the bar. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the nuggiez -- the sauce cooled the boneless bites down a little, but the flavor was still great. I loved all the sauces we tried (saucy hot cajun, medium, and garlic parm). The wings were perfectly crisp, and the steak pizza had a ton of flavor. Definitely a heavier meal, but if you're bringing someone from out of town who wants great wings, this is a spot worth taking them to.

I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.
