As a NYC transplant I grew up on nys pizza so gotta use my bragging rights on knowing what NY style is :) So... service was great - friendly guy waited patiently while I scanned over their menu. I dined in - plenty of seats so you know, don't be a loner and bring some friends. It was cold/warm today (unpredictable May weather in good ol' B-lo) and it was pretty warm in there so good thing if you've an aversion to cold temp. My cheese slice - love it they really re-heated it up til it burned my mouth when I took my first bite. Since Zettis closed, I have been dying for a NY style pizza but had no clue where to go ... until I saw a post on Facebook, and my best friend came to the rescue, bringing home a cheese pizza! I can't speak to service or ambience since I wasn't there, but the pizza was fantastic! Cheese, sauce, even the dough was excellent! My friend says they do sell it by the slice as well. My only complaint is that this location isn't closer to me. read more

It's a genuine NYC slice...but it's done in a Blodgett oven and they charge 4.50 a slice. I grew up in the tri-state area....if you charge 4.50 a slice it had better be something memorable. First time at Olisi's. I've been to Buffalo several times and have been craving "NY style pizza." I really like that they have options of slices so that I can try variety without ordering whole pizzas. I got... - basic calzone with pepperoni: this was amazing!!! It was freshly baked and the cheese was sooooo gooey and hot. I loved this calzone and this was the best calzone I have ever had. - garlic knots: love it with the marinara sauce. This was also really good. - steak pizza: i think this was like philly cheese steak in a pizza. A bit heavy but amazing taste. Just a few bites and I was getting full so I had to stop eating this slice to taste the others. - basic cheese: good cheese, not overpowering and crispy crust - pepperoni and sausage: amazing taste. Surprisingly this was not salty at all!! Usually pepperoni pizzas are too salty but this was just right. - chicken fingers pizza(?): different but tasty, saucy but not overpowering. Also, I really want to give a shout to the owner and the staff at Olisi's. I accidentally left my wallet on the table and they found me via facebook and let me know right away. Usually people just wait until someone calls but they went above and beyond to find me. Then they held my wallet in the back until I came back. I couldn't thank them enough!! If you're looking for NY style pizza Olisi's is a great option. Tons of drinks to choose from, can dine in or take out. Restaurant is clean and looks like a simple pizzeria/Italian eatery. We enjoy it for quick lunches and dinner solutions for the family on the fly. Wait is never too long and staff is alway good. I personally don't love the flavor of the BBQ they use on pizzas but that's my only real dislike here, other than that I've enjoyed each and every slice I've tried! read more

I got a xlarge pepperoni and sausage pizza and 20 wings for pickup paid $60. Pickup was fine no issues staff was fine. I got back to my room and the pizza looked perfect exactly what I was hoping for. But unfortunately that's where it ended the pizza was very bland nothing really had any flavor not even the sauce. ** COVID-19 REVIEW ** We were in the mood for pizza but wanted to try a new place just to shake it up in these dull-drum times. We like "NY" style pizza and heard that this place is really good. We called on a Saturday night and since we were picking up, it was only a 30 minute wait. We arrived right on time and all our food was ready for us. We scored our timing because three other people came in right after us to get their orders so we didn't have to wait for our turn. The drive home was torturous as it smelled SO good! We couldn't wait to open the boxes! We ordered a large pizza, garlic knots, and single order (extra crispy) chicken wings. OMG, everything tasted amazing!! Wings were perfect, the pizza crust was on point, and garlic knots were perfectly doughy and buttery. We will definitely revisit this place again and probably try some other menu items. Let's start off by saying I'm a thin crust girl. Pizza is a very controversial subject in Buffalo and some people prefer thicker crust. There are some serious pizza reviewers who will tell you this place is one of the best, and I have to agree. It's a good thin slice where all the topping won't slide off and you can eat it how it's supposed to be ate. The sauce isn't too sweet like some places and the cheese is good. Olisi's has the best NY style pizza in the Buffalo area! I've been coming here for a few years and their food is always consistently great. I typically order a large cheese pizza (well done) to share and of course, garlic knots. Their pizza is thin and not too oily. I love topping it with garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and ketchup (please don't judge me ). Their garlic knots are super buttery and soft. Not as garlic-y as I'd like them to be, but I'm kind of a garlic freak. As of now, they're offering pickup only. The service is always great here. I used to dine in and the place was clean. Wow !! I was in the mood for Pizza, but wanted NY Style as I haven't had it in a while. I was in the Tonawanda area and after a quick search Olisi's came up. Walked in and selection was plentiful, I asked the guy serving me what they had available and opted for a Steak Slice and Buffalo Chicken Slice. Grabbed a Monster Energy drink from the fridge and then was blown away by what came next. That'll be $18.65 please ?? .......for TWO SLICES and a drink !! I know the slices are larger and I'm sure the Monster is marked up a little over what it would cost at the Grocery Store but assuming the monster was lets say at most $3.65 that means you're looking at $7.50 per slice !!!! The Slices were very good and amongst the best NY Style i've had in a while, and I am willing to pay up to a certain degree but wow. This is a great spot for some authentic NY style pizza. We came in during a Bills game and still got the pizzas we ordered in a fair amount of time. Olisi's has a wide variety of pies to choose from including some very unique specialty pies. Meat loves, steak in the grass, and buffalo chicken are among my favorite options. The garlic knots make for a great appetizer or side dish. In addition, unlike many pizza shops. they have plenty of other dinner items if any one in your party doesn't have the pizza vibe. First off, I need to state that NY Style pizza is my favorite, but you really need to go to the city if you want to truly have the best... it's kinda like going anywhere but Brooklyn for bagels. Good spot for NY style thin pizza. Had a large order over the weekend and they grouped everything best they could to make some combo deals. Really nice of them to do. Only thing is the pizza adds up quick if you want a few toppings. They also send coupons out in mailers around the area. So you usually have a coupon on hand.
