We stopped at Papa's Pizza on Union Road for a quarter pepperoni and cheese pizza along with a couple of cocktails, and the whole place had that classic neighborhood dive bar vibe. Nothing fancy, just a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a drink, and have some pizzeria-style food. The pizza was definitely tasty. We ordered it with their char & cup pepperoni and original spicy sauce, and both were excellent. The pepperoni crisped up nicely, the sauce had a little extra kick, and the crust hit a sweet spot. It was sturdier than a New York-style slice but not overly thick or doughy either. Every bite had a great balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. We've been fans of Papa's Pizza for a while, but until now we'd only tried the Lancaster location. This was our first visit to Union Rd., and it delivered the same tasty pizza we've come to expect. read more

Papa's Pizza Oven - 1/4 pepperoni and cheese - Pizza Near Me - West Seneca, New York

The pizza looked good enough to eat until you actually taste the sweet sauce that they use for it. The sauce is way too sweet for a second I thought they put ketchup on it and for $34 for this pie. I do not think it's a very good value. read more

.75c wings on Wednesdays!!! Amazing, crispy skin, tender, juicy chicken wings. 10/10 would recommend. Crispy tater tots LOADED with bacon and cheese! Absolutely amazing. Would come back again. read more

5/5 and I am so glad this place came to West Seneca. I think I found the perfect order - half pizza, cheese and pepperoni, extra saucy (1 scoop of each sauce- traditional and sweet), with a single order of wings, hot, shaken, extra saucy. Don't forget your blue cheese and you'll be in heaven . My only request would be a double dough option. I like my pizza just a little thicker. read more

Popped in for a little lunch on a Saturday afternoon, dining are was quiet, and we got our pick of seating. Being that this in the old Mooneys the old familiar mooneys mirror greeted us walking into the back as did the classic slick tile floors ( the only negative thing I have). Pizza , wings and fries all came up quick and I was pleasantly surprised at how spot on the wings were. Perfect balance of crispness and sauce. The bleu cheese... I'm still indifferent about. It was definitely a peculiar flavor, but not in a terrible way, just really different. Fries perfectly crispy, just how I like them. The pizza we had a choice between house and sweet sauce.. we chose the house /light sauce. Pizza had the perfect amount of cheese on it and was cooked to perfection. Based on the pizza I had at santoras recently this pizza blew it out of the water. I was however reminded of a Picassos pizza, just without the "cheese dust" on it. I can definitely recommend stopping in for some good pizza and wings. I plan to come back again to try some more offerings. Inconveniences/ not real detractors on experience/ Ketchup bottle on table for fries please. A half filled small cup of it isn't enough for a basket of fries (especially when you have a kid). Knives that can actually cut.. the one I used might have struggled to cut play dough. read more

Got my order wrong and charged me $8 for the pleasure. As the receipt shows, we paid for two toppings on the pizza, but when we opened it, it was cheese only. This is from the Abbott location. We won't be back here again, especially since last time the wings were absolutely disgusting. read more

Giving this place 5 stars for the food!! Only visited once and I got the 5 cheese pizza (with pepperoni) and mozzarella sticks. Everything was delicious and till this day I'm still craving the crust. We came around early evening so the place was quite empty, but the waitress was super nice which made this overall experience wonderful! read more

I ordered delivery, came up with Runa L , never delivered. They were professional and asked refund or pickup, i picked up. Food is always phenomenal. Turns out it's door dash delivery. First showed up as Runa L, then, next text showed Adrhriyan H. Never delivered. You get either of them don't trust. Pappas delivered by giving my food remade. It is amazing read more

Ordered a lot of food - didn't take a pic of all but can honestly say some SOLID wings and za. Great sports bar vibes - lots of big screens and the sound on was really nice to create a fun atmosphere. Had wonderful service as well for a big group. The sweet sauce is really sweet so if you don't want overly sweet don't order it or ask for half sweet half regular. It almost tastes like honey if that makes sense. Good - just a bit much for me! Very similar pizza style to imperial so you can't go wrong either way. Wings were awesome - crispy and juicy. Also ordered boneless wings and the honey mustard was really good too. Cajun bbq charred wings were the best of the three (IMO). Def give this place a shot! read more

Buffalo has lots of great pizza places, but this one takes the cake! They have two different pizza sauces to choose from or combine - we usually order the mix and it always hits the spot. The atmosphere is fun and friendly too. Whether you're taking out or grabbing a seat inside, you've gotta try Papa's Pizza Oven. read more

Ordered pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks. The wings were delicious, evenly crispy and saucy. I would def go back for wings and try some different flavors. However, I was disappointed in the pizza, I had read so many good things about but I just didn't enjoy it. It wasn't cooked enough and had a strange taste, maybe it was just an off day. The mozz sticks had so much parm cheese on them that I couldn't even try them. I'm not a parm cheese fan so I tried to dust it off but there was so much and parm smell was so overwhelming I couldn't do it. Maybe good for parm lovers but not me :/. The girl at the counter was very friendly and we did have a great conversation. read more

Went in for the "buffet" around 1 pm. The pizza and other foods on the buffet were dry. Did not see anyone tend to the food area while we were there. I found the best thing to be on the buffet was the soup. Had to go to the waitress to have her take our 3rd persons order. Our server was friendly but the service was slow. Definitely felt it was not worth the money ($14.99 per person). $3.99 for a glass of coke. read more

Twice I have picked up slices from the West Seneca and the Hamburg location and they have been horrible. Dried out burnt and hard with no flavor . Like eating a dried rock . Not even worth $3.80 just awful read more

Just had the worse burned pizza and rotten salad. Tossed it out. Never will we be back.

This is good pizza and definitely better than average, but it is WAY overpriced. A large two topping pie and a half cheese pizza was $53. Picasso's is twice as good and a much better value. Shame on me for not going with the pizza that is the benchmark for all of WNY. ... and not for nothing: the service at the pickup counter is a bit underwhelming. read more

Inedible, raw dough that's what I received. Asked for well done and saucy wings. The wings are bone dry. The pizza is very thin yet you could stretch the undercooked dough out and make another pizza from it. Gross. Complete waste of money and now I see EXACTLY what people mean when they say this place is inconsistent. Won't be back. read more

Delicious food and great service from all workers. Amazing job on servicing the crowd from last Bills game.

Finally, a new local place I can stand behind.. pizza was dynamite. Very sweet sauce. Wings were A+ Buffalo, NY certified. Got Medium and BBQ sweet sauce.. Medium was a little on the milder side compared to other places. The BBQ sauce was very good.. The only thing I didn't care for would be the Blue Cheese? It appeared homemade, and tasted/smelled really garlicy... I'll stick to Ken's and will for sure be back again soon! Thanks for opening! read more

Great food, I'm in love with their cheese pizza with the sweet sauce the service on the phone needs to be more polite.

Loved having Bozzy's pizza right near our house, we were shocked when we saw the sign change but decided to give it a try. Worst pizza I've ever seen let alone tasted. My daughter wouldn't even eat it. Clearly the person cutting it must have been blindfolded or drunk. The box was full of burnt pieces and burnt up pepperoni. Crust was hard on the bottom yet seemed uncooked in the middle, cheese was too thick and sauce was globbed in some places- def not distributed evenly. Will never order here again which is a shame since it's walking distance. My daughter is eating spaghetti-ohs now, at least they're consistent. Also took over other pizza places in the area that were good, sad day for Buffalo pizza. read more

I've been waiting for this place to open so I can try the food. I ordered the half cheese and 10 wing special for $25. Added pepperoni and requested the wings extra crispy and saucy. To say the wait was worth it, is a complete understatement. Pizza is one of my go to meals when I do not feel like making dinner. This place easily just moved up into my top 3 places to order from. The pizza was delicious, sauce was good, pizza itself cooked to perfection. The wings were great. The staff listened to my requests to a tee. I can't wait to check out the bar soon enough. If you're hesitant to try a new place for pizza, don't be, this place can go head to head with any other pizza joint in Buffalo. read more

Welcome to West Seneca. Many options here in West Seneca but we welcome PaPa's Pizza. Ordered a few time now and everything has been very good. Great dough, sauce (sweet, even with 1/2 ) which I like. Great tomato flavor and good amount of cheese and pepperoni. I love the options of 1/4 pizzas in any style you want. Wings were great size and family liked them. Just a little more sauce they stated. I love the blue cheese. I understand it's house made. Very very good! Going to order a large order for my company this weekend. Family and neighbors who want to try it. Great and would recommend to give it a try. read more

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I ordered a plain chicken finger sub dry with lettuce, tomato and onion. Easy enough right? I guess not. It was totally inedible. It was totally covered in mayo, even the outside of the roll and was wet some how. Who would have thought that was hard to make. Don't bother with this place. read more

Came in today Saturday , went and found seat with wife , passed in lobby a lot of people waiting for takeout ... Anyways was going to order something and asked the waitress about how long ... Was told about 1/2.hour ... Finished our iced tea and decided not to order ... They Do not have liquor license yet and appeared to be overwhelmed ...It is actually very very hard to find good dependable that will actually work and come in when there supposed to be... All those laybacks beware because when all the illegals get there papers saying it's ok to work all you lazy ones will be out of luck ! Our waitress was very pleasant but fighting a loosing battle ! I will definitely come back in a month or 2 to try again hopefully the state moves along with an alcohol permit ... I really want to support my local businesses and am committed to ... Stay focused produce a good product and people will come ! Good Luck and God Bless read more

Maybe it was just too busy tonight. I ordered the large pizza plus 20 wing special- $43.99. (Added pepperoni for additional $3). Wings were ordered medium, extra crispy, extra saucy. Good things: front staff Not so Good things: pizza was burnt around the edges, not sliced through (difficult to separate) and doughy. You can have a sweet or regular sauce on the pizza. We chose the regular sauce and it is still a sweet sauce. Wings were dry, mild and not sauced. Also, there weren't 20 wing only 18. Not happy as they are normally $29.95 for 20. Homemade blue cheese was interesting. Family suggests we try again in a month, since we are not sure when they opened. Overall for $50 something, seriously disappointed. read more

Second time this has happened to me now, was told 30 minutes for a pizza and wings. Showed up at 40 minutes because of the previous time when I waited an extra 15 minutes to pick up my food. Today I show up 10 minutes late again, and they had not even started my food yet, myself and three others stood in the front of the store for 20 minutes, waiting for our food to be made. I do not understand why they do not just tell people one hour to get a pizza that takes about seven minutes to make absolutely pathetic service. read more

I've had plenty of pizza from all over the 716 and this by far is the best around without any bit of doubt

Stopped for a pizza after being recommended by friends. Glad I did! I ordered a 1/4 pizza, double pepperoni and onions. It was excellent! If you enjoy the old Bocce Club or the old Norms on Broadway you'll love this pie. Cup and char as we say here and a sweet sauce. The service was first class. I ordered to go so I really can't speak to the so called ambiance. I would definitely recommend this establishment to pizza lovers both near and far! read more

I have ordered pizza three times from location on Union road in West Seneca.I gave them the benefit of the of the doubt since they were a new business. The pizza was burnt every time. You have a choice on sauce sweet or traditional there both bad. They bought out Bozzys in Cheektowaga which had great pizza and now it's not.So luckily there are a lot better pizza places in the area. read more

The chaos during picking up take out is expected since they are so new. The wings (ordered dbl mild x crispy) were okay. Good crisp and meaty, but bland. Even my son asked why I ordered plain. The "blue cheese" tasted more like a ranch dip than actual blue cheese. It wasn't awful, but when I have wings I need blue cheese. I ordered a large cheese 1/2 pepperoni pizza with sweet sauce. It was burnt and I love sweet sauce and was so excited to try it. This was the worst sauce I have ever had on a pizza, I felt like I was eating sugar on pizza. I couldn't even taste sauce or cheese, just sugar. We ended up throwing out 1/2 the pizza. I will give them another shot and order the regular sauce at some point, but I think for now we will stick to our regular places. read more
