    Mmmmm large taco
    Christine K.

Been going here since it was in its original location. I really like how they've fixed up the new spot. We went with our old faithful order of large beef tacos made hot with no tomatoes. The large are quite filling and I love how they assemble your taco by warming the shell on the grill while adding the fixings! I barely finished one large and the boyfriend failed to finish his two. Very filling and tasty. Will be back when in the neighborhood.

Cherry taco! So this is like a turnover in taste. The icing smells like cinnamon bun icing. It's pretty amazing.

So again, a southerner in WNY who has grown up with real tacos... However, I have to say that I do sometimes crave this place. What they call a taco up here would be anywhere else just a burrito that was badly folded. I've learned to ignore my definitions for how a taco should look. The large ultima taco is pretty huge and filling and makes a great quick lunch. It's loaded with filling, meats, cheeses, tomatoes and lettuce, sour cream, hot sauce. I suggest springing to add some nacho cheese because...why wouldn't you honestly? The 'tacos' are way better than the nachos I tried first. And they have dessert 'tacos'... I've only had the cherry because I love cherry, but the staff are always suggesting apple. Essentially it's a small flour tortilla filled with pie filling, I assume fried, and then coated generously with glaze. It's an ingenious little tasty thing really. Open till 10 and pretty easy to park by or around.

Okay check it out guys! I love mexican food to the max. Doesn't have to be authentic or fancy for me to enjoy it but, this little place is pretty darn good. I will be critical in my review in hopes someone reads this and takes the advice, but even if they don't I will still be back! So, right off the bat the prices are fair, HOWEVER it's a cash only place. Boo! I mean its 2016 guys, get up to speed on the plastic. Cash is so 1999! Haha, but okay that aside, you want something mexican-ish and you have cash. I ordered the Super Ultimate Taco which was $5.15 and the weight of the bag alone made me smile. Got this baby home and unwrapped it and immediately noticed the soft shell was kinda stiff. Like it was heated and then cooled, Im not sure but I personally like my soft shells chewy. No big deal. Took a bite and the meat was good. Kinda like mom makes at home. I wanna guess the cheap taco seasoning packets? Not sure, but nothing special. Would def not mind more authentic tasting seasoning, but it was good! Not too greasy either. I ate the whole thing and didnt feel like passing out. That last bite wasnt a mouthfull of liquid and grease from the meat and veggies. No regrets here, it hit the spot! Definately worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood. I will be back, so please dont spit in my food. This is an honest review and hope to see this cool little place do well and improve!

I love the large Ultima taco. It's very filling and tasty. If you like your food spicy, order extra hot.

The ultimate nachos I got were in a SMALL clear container, not like the picture here. A lot of money for a small container of nachos!

Mom got her Graham Canyon, and Casey got the Dairy Free Peanut Butter and Cookies. Now my eyes were immediately drawn to the Afghanistan Sheer Yahk. Something I've never heard of, and I like to try new things. The nice gentleman at the window explained it's like frozen milk. And it was, but it was so much more amazing than just that. It's frozen regular, dry, and condensed milk with some saffron, cardamon, pistachios, and a little bit of rose water. I know it sounds a little strange, but it was honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The rose water isn't overpowering, and I enjoyed the new flavor. The whole dish was icy, sweet, and yet has a warm taste from the cardamon. I could have easily eaten a medium, and I'm so sad I only got a small. That's my bad. We didn't try the kabobs, but I bet if they are half as good as the Afghanistan ice cream, they will be awesome. I will happily make the hour drive from Great Valley to come back and try their actual food when it's available and get a larger size Sheer Yahk for sure.

The building is an old one on Main Street, decorated in the Roycroft style and font: Minimalist and decorative. The line for ice cream moved quickly: The women behind the counter worked hard to fill orders, and most people knew what they wanted. We chose scoops of chocolate "Bada bing Bada bourbon" in a cup, and two scoops of gelato in a waffle cone. The portions were enormous! I've never seen an ice cream so large! The total was about $15 for four scoops, and a small upcharge for the waffle cone. This is great value! The flavors were so good we were already making plans to return by the time we left. A word about the layout: There are chair on the front lawn; the front porch and inside have tables and chairs. A single unisex bathroom serves everyone; in summer there can be a line. Most of the people there at that hour were young families; the strollers and prams parked near the stairs. Is there anything cuter than seeing a toddler enjoying an ice cream?

We made the trip out to try it for the first time and weren't really interested in any of the flavors. Secondly, they don't sell plain chocolate or vanilla or any soft serve, so if you don't like any of the unique flavors, there's nothing plain to choose instead. A nice place, but probably won't be coming back unless I happen to pass by since it's not worth making the trip and risking not liking the flavors.

The quality is incredible and the mix-ins are so generous, no skimping here. This round we tried the Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella and the Oreo Brownie Cake. Christian absolutely nailed the cozy, Christmasy vibes with the eggnog flavor. I already know I'll be craving this one every winter. And the Oreo Brownie Cake? Come on... the name alone is tempting, but it delivers. Think fudgy brownie swirls, big chunks of Oreos, and pure chocolatey goodness in every scoop. Basically heaven in a pint. Worth every single penny. And even better when you share it with someone who also has a sweet tooth.

I'll be honest, I've been putting off ordering a few pints because I didn't want to make the effort/time for picking it up. Thanks to a dear friend, a fellow Yelp Elite, I've FINALLY had the opportunity to try some pints, and holy smokes, Living the Cream is phenomenal! Note that in to order flavors, you'll want to follow "livingthecream_" on Instagram, "living_the_cream_" on Facebook, which showcases any new flavors being crafted and hosts the link to place your order. I tried two flavors: Oreo Brownie Smash and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella. Oreo Brownie Smash is Oreo cookie ice cream with brownie batter swirls, Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, and half-baked brownies and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella is spiced eggnog ice cream infused with Jim Beam and Platter's dark orange chocolate stracciatella. Just. WOW! Absolutely no complaints, each was bursting with flavor and packed with so many mix-ins. I loved finding huge Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough chunks and just how chocolatey Oreo Brownie Smash was thanks to all the brownie bits swirled in. The Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella had the creamy, comforting flavor of eggnog with a nice nip of Jim Beam that let you know it was there but never overpowering. The crunchy bits of the dark orange chocolate stracciatella cut through all the creaminess, only elevating the ice cream overall. Opening both pints, I was super impressed how jam-packed they were - It took a bit of effort to get the lids off, the pint was on the cusp of overflowing! So I didn't order these pints so I can't give you the most accurate pricing info, but after trying a couple flavors, I'm happy to order a few pints myself without thinking too much about the cost. I'm really glad Living the Cream is out here, churning up amazing ice cream flavors for Buffalo! As a few other Yelp reviews mention, make a little room in your freezer and treat yo'self to a couple pints of some of the creamiest, mix-in full ice cream you'll ever have!
