The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

The sandwich was great and really salty (per the custom), but the bread became soggy pretty quick. I would dip it in the jus and try to bite it but the meat just couldn't be bit through and no matter how hard I tried it just made a sloppy mess. That was disappointing. The wings were ordered Medium Hot which they warn you is "Very Hot"... but it isn't. They were good, but next time I will order Hot because there was little to no burn. The fries were the frozen variety but nice, skinny and crispy. I liked dipping them in the leftover wing sauce. Next time, I will skip the sandwich and just get wings and fries. Hopefully it won't take me 5 years to come back.

I am not a fan of caramel or peanut butter sauce, so asked for these two items to be excluded. I do not know what other cookie flavor choices there are; I just picked chocolate! It was nicely packed up, with the ice cream in a separate container from the warm cookie. Both made it back to my house, the ice cream still solid and the cookie still warm. It is a wonderful treat. I think it might be difficult to order this after eating wings or a pizza or even a salad first, but as a separate treat, quite nice!

It was a bit busy (30-40 min wait for dining area), but there were a few tables off to the right of the bar where you could seat yourself. Luckily, one opened up right as we walked in. When seated at these tables, you have to order at the bar. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the nuggiez -- the sauce cooled the boneless bites down a little, but the flavor was still great. I loved all the sauces we tried (saucy hot cajun, medium, and garlic parm). The wings were perfectly crisp, and the steak pizza had a ton of flavor. Definitely a heavier meal, but if you're bringing someone from out of town who wants great wings, this is a spot worth taking them to.

Since then, they've become very commonly put in the best wings group for locals. However, I will say that while that is a great thing for their business, it may be a con too. This is a very small dive bar. Nice sports bar atmosphere and the staff is generally very nice and accommodating. But the last couple times we've been, we've noticed the dip in food service. We showed up at 5pm on a Saturday, and when we walked in, I kid you not, there was not one order of food on any of the tables, and the tables were filled. Very bizarre. I would assume they do a great portion of their business with door dash, and it seems as if that took priority over feeding the customers inside of the actual restaurant. It also seemed extremely overpriced. (I didn't pay much attention in the past about the price.) for 5 single order of wings, order of fingers, 1 order of onion rings, and 1 order of fries, our bill (4 adults and 2 kids) was $172. I could not believe it. You would have thought we ate at Lucia's for that price. While they are still my favorite wings, it's gonna cost you.

Lots of Bills and Sabres paraphernalia around. It's kind of a dive bar. Which is good. Prices have increased like everything else. So be ready to spend for a family. Now for the wings. They were good. Last time we came we weee highly disappointed but today they hit a solid triple. They were good and saucey, lots of celery and some blue cheese. We also got a side salad which was slightly lacking. Small for the price. Filled with croutons, cheese and a few slivers of tomatoes. Kinda disappointing for the price in all honesty. Server was nice. Very attentive. Atmosphere is fun and overall it's definitely a place to stop for the history. We will come back another time.

I was excited to visit the…read morebirthplace of Buffalo wings and expected something memorable: maybe a classic, old-school bar with a little grit and a lot of character. Instead, the place felt more like a cavernous tourist stop than the legendary wing destination I had imagined. The wings were good, but not great. We ordered them dry so we could try several sauces, and to their credit, the wings themselves were cooked perfectly. The sauces, however, were underwhelming. We tried the garlic parmesan, the original, and the extreme heat sauce, which I believe was called "Suicidal." They all seemed to rely heavily on cayenne and butter, with limited complexity and less heat than expected. Maybe I've been spoiled by other wing spots with more creative sauces and better blue cheese and ranch, but these just didn't stand out. That said, the service was great, and I appreciated the staff. I'm glad I went for the history, but based on the food alone, it didn't live up to the hype.

I was able to connect with the owner fairly easily by calling and requesting to place a catering order in advance, the gentleman who anesthetized phone was very polite too! I advised what we needed and when, given a fair price for what our needs were and based on the conversation I had no worries about our pickup. Our food was hot and ready when they said it would be and staff even helped load it in our company van. Our food was clearly labeled and packaged so that we were able to set up, serve quickly and store some in our warmers. The pizza was cut into even portions and the wings were so plans juicy and sauced well! The food was delicious and we had so many coming back for 2nds. I was too busy with set up to get may pictures but we ordered 1 large veggie pizza, 1 large chicken finger pizza, 400 wings( plain, mild, medium, hot and bbq) and 7 sheets of pizza (cheese and pepperoni) and a large pan of salad.

I have been searching high and low for a sweet sauce pizza in Williamsville for a decade now -…read morewhich led me here, as they had sweet sauce as an upcharge and I didn't care - I was willing to pay the .99 cents to avoid a 40 minute round trip to my other favorite places with sweet sauce. Unfortunately, my hunt did not end here as it was not what I expect when I order sweet sauce; HOWEVER it was still fantastic sauce and the other items I ordered were great too. Let's start with my order: you can go to their website and select pick up or delivery. I selected pick up and the website does tell you what time to expect your food ready. In addition, you can join their rewards program. Their website is excellent, with very clear descriptions- and that includes the rewards! I ordered the small cheese pizza with sweet sauce, 10 wings medium, and funnel fries. Everything was delicious and filling! I'll start with my favorite: the funnel fries! Outside of a carnival-like settings, it's hard to find a good funnel cake. I often find them to bread like and chewy. These here at pizza works were the best I've had outside of the usual settings. You can get powdered sugar OR cinnamon sugar. I do recommend them for a sweet treat! Next, the wings! I love my wings super super crispy! Pretty much dried out lol. Although I haven't found a place to make them this way, I will say they were at least crispy, not soggy at all. The flavor was great and they were meaty. No taste of old fryer oil which is an issue I've had too many times at other places. I actually rarely order wings anymore because I can make them exactly as I like them in the air fryer; but I have no regrets with my wings super order here and I would order again. They come with homemade blue cheese and a bag of carrots. Lastly the pizza: now as I said, there was an upcharge for the sweet sauce. This was odd to me. I've never seen an upcharge. But I paid it. What I will say is, whenever I order with sweet sauce from anywhere, I take a bite in my car to make sure they used the right sauce. I honestly could not tell this pizza had sweet suace or not. The best way to describe this, is that it tasted like a regular sauce but maybe a little sweeter versus robust. It was nothing like I was craving (or expecting). For comparison... when I order sweet sauce ... I expect something like papas pizza oven, marks pizza, or pizza oven in Lockport. This place is nowhere near that level of sweetness. I actually went back in to confirm it was sweet sauce and the gentleman confirmed it was and explained the difference between their regular sauce and their sweet sauce. I was bummed it wasn't what I was craving - HOWEVER, the sauce was EXCELLENT! I would be glad to eat their pizza again any-day - I just wouldn't order it when I am craving the sweet sauce I am accustomed to. There is plenty of seating here and a big TV. It was nice and clean and I found the customer service to be great and friendly, even when I came back in to confirm the pizza had the sweet sauce. The menu is large. There are daily specials. I would certainly order here again. So sorry for the lack of photos but I was hungry and forgot!
