Excellent wings! Great flavor with several different sauce options. My husband loved their pizza logs. Probably our favorite wings in the Buffalo area. The staff was friendly, attentive and area was clean
I checked out 7 wing places while her in Buffalo and this place was the best for sure. It beat some classics like Duff's. The wing presentation was unique with a decent amount of sauce and also and well displayed plate. The service was quick and the drinks and napkins came quick when requested. The interior was nice along with a good amount of outside seating. I had the hot wings and honey mustards wings
Excellent wings! Slightly crispy and lots of sauce options. The Honey butter bbq sauce was really good!! I also got the medium and was surprised by lack of heat but I guess it is medium. The bartenders were friendly and attentive.
My friends and I met for a Friday dinner and this place was packed. We had to circle the parking lot a couple of times just to wait for an open spot. There were several parties ahead of us. I put my name down for a table of 7 and they estimated a 25 minute wait and it was about 30 minutes. We were seated upstairs and the place is simple and casual. My boyfriend and I split an order of medium and honey butter bbq wings with blue cheese and ranch. He also tried pizza logs for the first time. The honey butter bbq wings were the best food we tried and my friends also ordered those plus pizzas. My friend is gluten free and the waitstaff confirmed the fries are not gluten free!
This is our first time in Buffalo. We tried a couple of different well-known wing spots. This doesn't come up on AI, TripAdvisor, Yelp or other places. We were listening to locals who said bar bills has amazing wings. And they are not wrong. I had the Cajun honey barbecue and my husband had the very hot. The hot was actually hot. Cajun butter was super interesting and super yummy. Loved the presentation with the drums on one side and flats on the others. Highly recommend if you're in Buffalo and looking for grade A classic Buffalo wild wings!!
I was recommended to try this place and absolutely loved it! We ordered the 20 piece wing with lemon pepper and mild traditional. The wings were crispy and juicy. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread and loved it too! They also had really good sauces and attentive service. Thankfully it wasn't busy, so I definitely recommend visiting during a weekday.
Bar-Bill has a bar area and an inside seating area. It's nice and dark with a sports bar feel. Originally we were going to wait for a table but the bar was pretty spacious so we opted to sit there to eat which was a good choice! 2 bartenders and everyone at the bar ordered food. Together they were a well oiled machine! The garlic cheese curds were pretty good. Greasy but good. The wings and fries were phenomenal! Completely different experience than my first time going there when they first opened. I will definitely be back!
Top bills bar! SOLID wings. We had the medium and the chipotle honey butter wing sauces. Phenomenal taste, cooked to perfection! Great staff! If you're looking for great wings and to catch a game, it's def this place! They also sell their sauces and rubs! (Was a nice gift for a friend that's from Buffalo). Tip: Plan again because I was advised before I went there is usually a wait, and ours was about 40 mins.
We went to the Bar Bills in East Aurora, they were on a 3-4 hr wait! We came to this location and they were on an hour in a half wait, we waited! You already know that if two of the three Bar Bills are on an over hour wait that it's gonna be good! The wings alone were amazing! Hot, crispy, and coated with the perfect amount of sauce! The medium wasn't too hot, the Cajun medium was our favorite!! The garlic cheese curds were absolutely delicious! The place was packed our server Jessica was on it and helpful with making sauce recommendations! They do give you a two hour window to eat... not sure how much that is enforced but they seem to have a good system. The upstairs patio should be winter proof for more seating! Definitely recommend Bar Bills!!
This was a great place to kick off our short trip to Buffalo. We had asked several locals about places to find the best wings, and while answers vary and that topic is one of heavy debate in Buffalo, everyone at least mentioned this spot. It was convenient for us after leaving the airport and on our way to our hotel, so we made it our very first stop. Definitely did not regret that. It's a big restaurant, but I'm sure it fills up often, especially on game days. After seating our server came over right away, got drink orders, and put in our appetizer of garlic cheese curds. We also ordered a Beef on Weck to split, 10 hot buffalo wings, and 10 hot honey bbq cajun spice wings on Brandon, the Buffalo Yelp CMs, recommendation. Cheese curds came out fast, and the beef on weck (already halved) right after. The cheese curds were so delicious. Perfectly golden fried, robust garlic flavor, and the cheese had a great flavor and mouth feel. The Beef on Weck was good, but we had others while on the trip that were better, so that ended up being our last favorite thing here.. but still tasty. That said, these were our favorite wings and bleu cheese of the trip. The hot buffalo was an excellent example of a classic... but I was totally blown away by the flavor on the hot honey bbq cajun wings. Their cajun seasoning had a wonderful flavor, hints of sweetness, and complimented the sauce like a glove. A little bit of their bleu cheese dip really made them special, not to mention, wonderfully presented and the fact that all the wings were plump and juicy. Someone took their time to pick out great wings before making these, and I appreciate that. Great experience, food, and ambiance. Hit on all front. Would return without question!
After spending the day touring my mom's hometown of Clarence, we stopped at Bar-Bill North on a busy sports Saturday--and it was the perfect choice. Despite the crowd, the experience was fantastic. The wings were absolutely on point, cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor. The beef on weck was just as impressive: tender, delicious, and everything you'd hope for from a Western New York classic. The weather was beautiful, the food was amazing, and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and upbeat, even with the game-day rush. Bar-Bill North delivered exactly what we were hoping for and more. A great stop in Clarence and one we'd happily return to.
The place was crowded and busy, busy! You would think the food was worth waiting for. But not! They are known for their roast beef sandwiches which I thought I would try. It didn't come hot and the beef tasted and smelled reheated. My husband got wings, Extra Hot. They were hot but not the best wings he has had. He has had better wings in Binghamton, NY. They have over 40 flavors...like peanut butter and fluff! Got the fried cauliflower but made the mistake to add a sauce drenched over them which made them mushy. Sorry to say, not coming back when in the area ; I'll try another place.
After doing some online research we decided to check out Bar-Bill and were really glad there was a north location. We showed up around 3:30 on a Saturday and had to wait was about 45-1 hour. It's a really casual spot but very well loved. We ordered 10 medium and 10 medium-Cajun with a side of waffle fries. The waffle fries came out first and were so crispy and perfectly seasoned. They have small paper plates on the tables so we used those. Our wings took a bit but they were worth it. Large wings that are crazy crispy. I think next time I'd go for the medium-hot flavour. I like my wings a little saucier but these were still great.

Arrived in Buffalo (from TX) on our way to Niagara Falls and a friend from Buffalo recommended this place for wings. It did not disappoint! Staff was friendly and helpful in making recommendation. All of the food was good. Highly recommend the wings. We tried a variety of flavors, lemon pepper, bbq, mild, Cajun and medium hot. All were good. Now I will say being from Texas, we eat ranch with EVERYTHING. Our friend told us we HAD to try the blue cheese. It was AMAZING. They definitely don't make blue cheese like this back in Texas. If you're visiting it's a must try with the wings - we would definitely come back! read more

Visited the Clarance bar bill location. It's a large building with a great tavern atmosphere. We ordered the Cajun-Honey Butter BBQ wings, pizza logs bar bill style (coated in the sauce of your choice), chicken sandwich with waffle fries and mini bed on weck. The wings were crunchy and the sauce was great. The pizza logs were good but the best I've had. My friend said the beef on weck was good and the horseradish was excellent. The server was friendly and knowledgeable of their products. We will be back. read more
Came here for the wings and the waffle fries were one of my favorites. The wings here are so good and any flavor you get is probably going to be good. The service was great and had a great time. Overall, a good experience. read more
We've been to the place where Buffalo wings were supposedly invented. Yes, they were pretty good-just not memorable. Reading an old copy of a "Buffalo Foodies Guide", I saw Bar Bills mentioned. We went, loved it and have been back many times as we journey from home to Rochester, NY or back. In fact, we plan our meals so that we can be hungry when we hit Buffalo. Our most recent visit was late on a Friday night and the place was packed with a wait., Twenty minutes later, we got our table and ordered lemon pepper and hot and spicy wings. Wings were extremely meaty. Loved the contrast between the subtle flavor of lemon pepper and the bold hot and spicy BBQ. Simply a great late dinner. Service despite how busy it was was excellent. All of our previous visits have been at or around lunch. At night, Bar Bills is extremely loud and noisy. Not a negative-just an observation. I can safely say that Bar Bills has the very best wings we've ever had and they remain consistent from visit to visi read more
Being a resident of Buffalo we have a unique insight into Buffalo Wings. Located on Main Street it's conveniently accessible from everywhere. The wings are a bit over priced but that's to be expected. Inside is clean and setup in two floors. Wings are a bit on the smaller side. They say hot is extra- it's a bit but not as crazy as they make it seem. We had both bbq and hot. They were decent. Nothing special our pizza logs were a bit burnt which was kind of a bummer. There are many wing spots in Buffalo I would give this one 3.5 to 4 out of 5. It's worth a shot if you're in the area. Bathroom was clean. read more
First time at their Clarence location . Picked my Grandson and son from the airport and they wanted to go here. We all ordered beef on weck regular,20 wings, soft pretzels, and pizza logs. Maybe we received a bad batch of roast beef because there was a lot of chewy meat. The Pretzels were great and so were the pizza logs. The wings were small and I would rate them as average compared to other restaurants. Our service was good. Loud inside but a cute decor. read more
This was our first stop in our trip to Buffalo, and it may have been my favorite. These are hands down the best wings I've ever had, they are sooooo good. We got the Buffalo medium and Cajun honey butter BBQ. The blue cheese was also fantastic, we dipped our chips in it which was really tasty. The wings were serve fresh and crispy, and were the perfect size. The beef on weck was good but lacking some flavor. We also got waffle fries which were just okay and served kinda cold. But honestly, I don't care because the wings were that good. I would come back to Buffalo just to eat them again. read more

The place is pretty big, there is a parking lot with enough spaces. We went on a Monday about 530, no wait to sit, though the food took a bit a time. We were sat in the enclosed patio area, the doors were open though there were screens. It was a bit windy so it was a little chilly. It was also a little loud in the room, there were also a few tvs in the area playing sports. We got the Honey Butter BBQ Chicken Fingers, the sauce is amazing and we would definitely recommend. The chicken itself was good, the breading was not too thick and the size was good. We each ate about 2 and half of them so there were left overs. Overall, would definitely recommend. We also got fried pickles which were great. The breading was not too thick and there were a good amount of pickles. Another person I was with got the Medium Chicken Wings, they were good. There was a good amount of sauce on the wings and the blue cheese tasted amazing. Overall, we would recommend vising especially of you're looking for wings. read more

Seriously the best wings I've ever had. We came here on the way back from Canada. This joint was recommended by a friend that is familiar with the area. Crispy, meaty and full of flavor, these wings checked every box. The homemade bleu cheese was amazing as well. Had fries and cheesy bread as an appetizer. If I'm ever back in western NY i'll be going here for sure. read more
I stopped here with some co workers who live out of town as do I. It was busy weekday night but we were seated quickly. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The beer selection was good and the food was amazing. We ordered wings and the beef on weck. The beef on weck was cooked perfectly and really tender. The wings are big and juicy. The variety of sauces make it perfect for anyone's preference. Very casual and friendly atmosphere. Wings are a little pricey but you get what you pay for read more
Having a friend from out of town (albeit they grew up here in WNY) stay with me for the night, we were talking about dinner and the minute I mentioned wings, that's all they wanted. I had a few places in mind that they'd never tried and we agreed on Bar-Bill North. Safe to say, when they left WNY, they were still talking about how good the wings were! My friend and I arrived on Friday around 5:15pm to a full parking lot. It'd been over four years since I was here and I was amazed they were still THIS popular, although yea it was Friday at dinner on the weekend of a home, 1pm Bills game, so it was expected this place would be popular. We ended up parking up the road in the parking lot of a strip mall and walking over. I put my name in for a table for two and got the text with my spot in line. It took about an hour before our table was ready. I noticed that in the text telling me my table was ready that there was a two-hour time limit, which I've never seen before, but honestly, neither of us were concerned about that as we weren't planning to stay there all night. We were seated at a table near the entrance, which made for some fun people watching. Plenty of TVs going and music playing overhead so it's certainly not quiet in there but we had no problem chatting as we waited. Our waitress was courteous and friendly enough, she was pretty busy but she still managed to check on us periodically. The wait between getting our drinks and our food was longer than I'm used to, but it was fine as I could drink my Bar-Bill House Lager from Ellicottville Brewing Co. (which was great!) and chat. For dinner, I went with an order of chicken fingers, painted on both sides in their Cajun-Honey Butter BBQ sauce, which comes with a side of celery and blue cheese dressing (I got an extra cup so that was nice!). The size of the chicken fingers were great and plenty saucy. I didn't want to be a complete mess so I used a fork and knife. That Cajun-Honey Butter BBQ sauce is just phenomenal. I was a little worried five fingers wouldn't be enough for me, but they filled me up perfectly! My friend ordered 10 wings in their Cajun sauce - They were practically silent the whole time they ate through all 10. When they were done, they told me they wish there were 10 more in front of them. They told me the next day they were dreaming about those wings. haha Prices everywhere in 2025 are high, and Bar-Bill North is no exception, but the quality is there, so it's hard for me to argue there. Overall, it was a good experience at Bar-Bill North! The customer service was good and the food was excellent! I do wish they would do something about expanding their parking lot. I'm glad I could make my friend from out-of-town a Bar-Billiever! haha read more

Josh Allen is spot on with his wing rankings - Bar-Bill is hands down one of the best wings spot in Buffalo! Quickly has become a must get every time we're in town. We like coming to this location. Great vibes and atmosphere here. Plenty of TV's with games on all throughout. It's always packed, so be prepared to wait. The service is excellent, though, and the food comes out pretty quick, too. The wings are fantastic! Tons of options and sauces to pick from. I would definitely recommend their Medium and Honey Butter BBQ! Their blue cheese is bomb as well. Cannot wait to come back try more flavors! They have a great drink menu with a good amount of draft beer options as well! A lot of good local brews. Overall, Bar-Bill is one of my favorite wing spots. Add it to your list - you won't be disappointed! read more
Fortunate to have grown up with Buffalo and its legendary wings in our backyard, my list of hotspots is spot on. Bar-Bill did not disappoint--in fact, we were pleasantly surprised by the subtle nuances in presentation and flavor, which noticeably enhanced our experience. Just as importantly, we felt at home the moment we stepped inside. The place was busy, and we had to wait a few minutes, but our greeter worked quickly to get us seated. Here's something rare--we found ourselves talking about the great service on the drive home and even the next day, specifically about our server and how good she was. These may possibly be the best wings I've had the pleasure of enjoying to date! My only hesitation was with the spice level. I've always ordered hot (I'm known as a hot pepper enthusiast), and I was told their hot was truly hot--so I was suggested the medium hot instead. Not next time--it'll be hot for sure! Lol. My wife had the Honey Dijon, which had the ever-so-slightest heat to them--they were also great. The building, built in 1858, with its brick interior, adds to the warm and inviting ambiance. Bar-Bill is a definite must! Saluti read more

Honestly top 1 place in my opinion for wings in Buffalo. The wings are the perfect size with the perfect crunch and seasoning. The blue cheese is amazing and homemade & the wings are just amazing! I have tried various types but no one does it like Bar Bill. The service is always great and quick. Servers are awesome here. Wait times aren't too bad on busy days. The ambiance of this location is nice and spacious with a patio deck open during the warmer months. Overall very great place to go to in Buffalo. 10/10! read more

The freshest wings I have ever had! Buffalo is to wings, what Baltimore is to crab cakes, and Bar-Bill is the place. The place is def a hot spot, the bar stools were all taken up, so I chilled a bit and came back to an open seat. Glad it stuck to it! Great bar service from Meghan and the other young lady. Cheerful, prompt, and gave good sauce instruction based on my heat tolerance. Glad I stuck w the medium hot. (Their heat level scale is not the same as other places). Will return when the snow melts! read more
