I'm a huge fan of the original location and finally made it to the newer location on Hertel. It did not disappoint. Took three additional friends to try it for the first time and everyone loved it. One of them after said that she "doesn't like burgers" and was annoyed that we were going to a burger place. Cluck Cluck Moo Moo changed her mind, she absolutely loved it. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does! These are easily the best smash burgers in Buffalo, just writing this review makes me want another!

Really nice space, and the servers were helpful in figuring out what to order for me and my kids. The kids loved the food, I thought it was adequate. The burgers and fries are decent flavor, but a little on the super greasy side. Price is a little high for the quality, but fair for the quantity.

Customer service was cool menu was straight to the point and this was actually the first smash burger spot I enjoyed. The patties were still juicy and cheesy and the moo moo sauce kind of reminded me of Big Mac sauce with a spin. All n out this place gave me 5 guys vibes even with the amount of fries they threw in the bag. Give em a try!

Came in here to grab a late night dinner for myself. I never even knew this place existed, but I guess it's been here for a while. I thought the name was kind of funny, but I was across the street and the bartender told me that he's gotten food from here before and it was pretty good. I took his word for it. So I went in and ordered a classic Smashburger for $9.85 and a hot chicken sandwich for $9.85. I figured that price for a burger or a sandwich, that had to be worth it. I was wrong !! The burger was actually good, but it was so greasy, that made it just gross. The paper it was wrapped in was completely saturated in grease. I had to make sure the paper didn't touch anything on me or my bed otherwise it would've stained and ruined whatever it touched. I had asked the man for lettuce on my burger, and all he gave me was the smallest little tiny piece of lettuce underneath the burgers, and I even taste it. Now for the hot chicken sandwich. Yes it was hot. Spicy hot. But that was mostly the bun because there was barely any chicken on the sandwich. It was a small piece and I saw when he was cooking it, It was a small piece and then when I was eating it, it only took up a little more than half the bun, and the rest was just a lot of some lettuce and all that hot sauce I have had Wendy's, KFC's and Popeyes chicken sandwiches that were bigger, better and less expensive. So as far as I'm concerned, the chicken sandwich was a joke, and the burger like I said it had a really good flavor to it. It was really good, but the grease was just unrealistic. I have never seen that in my life. My stomach was upset for the rest of the night. And to pay $10 for each of those was even bigger joke. I will not be returning there As far as inside, the restaurant goes, it was nice, cute ,clean And seemed like a cozy place to hang out. But I will not be hanging out there because I will not be ordering from there.

My first time here. Was just "ok". Solid burger, but honestly nothing sticking out about it, could have used more seasoning. Also disappointed by fries, again just ok but nothing compared to five guys taste or quantity wise. Location good, limited inside dining, small patio outside.

Supposed to be a Classic Smashburger

The sandwiches are quite good, very, very unhealthy, but worth a cheat night. The fries are awful, to mess up fries; TRAGIC.

I ordered the Jamaican tea drink-so dressing and the Kingsley Street Fried Chicken dinner. The chicken was perfectly fried to perfection, the macaroni and cheese was cheesey, the yams were definitely what it means to be candied and the cornbread was warm with enough sweetness without being too sweet. I really enjoyed the ambience and hospitality here. I cannot convey how delicious this food is!!! This is in my top three restaurants to eat at now.

They do have a bar setup, but didn't appear it's used for alcohol. I was greeted as soon as I opened the door and was walking through. Being my first time, I did order a few didn't dishes, sides and desserts to try. There was NOT a bad dish. All the food was amazing. Great portions, tasty flavors and everything truly was cooked to perfection. I have given up talking about prices because let's be honest where can you go for cheap anymore. BUT I have to mention I got the Kinsley street fried chicken dinner, it comes with four prices chicken (half chicken, breast, leg, wing, and thigh) and two sides for 22.99, I felt this was actually a great price point and so worth it. Our next dish was the JP fish sandwhich and fries, again, the sandwhich was huge, the fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection! Fries were yummy. Next up was the TPs hot honey chicken sandwhich. Now I am over the hot honey chicken sandwhich as it's been done to death, but I still always feel the need to try eveyones hahaha, and glad I did another grand slam sandwhich! For the sides, I tried the Mac and cheese, pinto beans, collard greens and coleslaw. If you follow my reviews I am a Mac and cheese snob, don't think I order many that I liked, well thank you Heavens because the Mac and cheese was DELICIOUS!!! The Coleslaw was also top notch. I don't eat collard greens or pinto beans but my family told me they were good. They did not have desserts on the menu but I seen some on the counter, sooooo I order a slice of caramel cake, slice of sour cream cake and peach cobbler. Fat kid heaven they all were so good. Literally the best caramel cake since my mother in law! I felt like I just ate at my husband's family reunion. I had to go in and order, then I left ran to dash and came back in about 25 mins and my food was ready when I got back. So service was pretty fast. My only thing wish you could order on line first, parking is not the best in that area. Also Google has address as 1641 Hertel but it actually is 1633, not a big deal because same area but just a heads up.

Arriving on a Friday to meet for dinner, I was early and took my place in the barroom. There's also a front room and a back for dining. There is so much Buffalo memorabilia here, you would never get bored looking at it. The friendly tender gave me a beer and a greeting. As the group arrived, some kind people moved down so we had more seats. We asked for a 6 top and were happy to wait a bit. The place filled up. I noticed a number of neighborhood residents who had walked or biked over. We were sat and brought fresh drinks. I never mind a wait on a busy night as long as the server checks in and keeps up on the drinks. We did wait about an hour which is a little much when your glass is empty. I'd give 5 stars but, we were left looking for either a drink or dinner. When we were served, everything was great. I had a standard fish fry, fries & slaw. The fish was delicious and the sides were good. The fish burrito was a nice alternative and the vegetarian in our group enjoyed the impossible burger. In the past, I've had the lamb melt and it's definitely worth mentioning. As it's located right across from the zoo, parking can be tricky but, it's worth the effort.

My hubby had the catfish and shrimp dinner with greens, coleslaw, mac and cheese with cornbread. Breakfast: Pro's- my pancakes were cooked perfectly. Well done, crispy edges, fluffy and soft inside. Some of the BEST pancakes I've had in a very long time. Eggs were good and I really enjoyed the thick cut bacon. The consistency of the grits were the perfect texture and required NO extra salt. Con's- I asked for more strawberries and was denied. They said it was just a garnish. I would've paid extra if need be, so I was taken a back by the response. The fruit complimented the cakes like jelly does with peanut butter. You can have it alone, but together it's even better. Another con was they charge extra for cheese in the grits and in the eggs. The charge has become customary so thats no big deal, I just hate when you're not told it'll be an extra charge and get a surprise when you're settling the bill. Lunch: Pro's- Shrimp and coleslaw were very tasty. Con's-My husband was disappointed with the fish. He stated it lacked flavor despite it looking well seasoned on the outside. I guess it didnt soak into the actual fish. The greens were ok and he didnt care for the mac and cheese. Overall, good. However, just an ok lunch which was surprising because we used to come here for our Black History celebration every year and the food would always exceed expectations. The music playing in the background added to the ambiance in a good way. Give them a shot. Pro tip- Brunch starts at 12pm on Sunday so if you want to beat the church crowd go b/w 12-12:45pm that day. Definitely worth checking out. The brunch is delicious!

I decided to visit their Main Street location this morning after getting kids on the school bus. 730a is a lovely time to visit a restaurant and not have it crazy busy! I ordered a steak breakfast sandwich combo to go; I just couldn't shake the image of what I saw in the video.... My food arrived promptly, and when I got home, wow! It was absolutely incredible! So filling! Even though I finished eating around 9 AM, it kept me going like a full brunch because it was so generous. Definitely NOT a destination for folks on a diet... The hash brown patty, something I am normally kind of dismissive of, was also very good... perfectly crispy. It just needed a pinch of salt for my taste, but otherwise, it was more than what I would have hoped for. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I can't wait to go back!
