Well, I'm going to expand on my review from yesterday when we visited the Chick-fil-A and Losson Rd and Transit Rd, Depew NY. On this day, I ordered the Market Salad with a spicy fillet. It was an absolute delight. Deliciously, fresh crisp and tender spring mix, and shredded cabbage, salad topped with hard-boiled egg, bacon bits, feta cheese, blueberries, strawberries, diced apples, and topped with a delicious avocado dressing. The Chick-fil-A app for the phone is very easy to use, and I love that you can scan the barcode on your table and they will bring it right out to you. Did I mention yesterday? This facility is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The little guy that I had with me today ordered chicken tenders, a fruit cup, and beverage. He was so proud that he skipped the french fries in favor of the healthier fruit cup. But then on the way out, he's sweet talked me into a milkshake, so help putting himself through some laps around the park tonight. read more

With all of the new fast food places popping up in Buffalo, this location seems to be the most consistent spot. With our recent move, this spot is also way closer than the other location by the mall so we're happy about that. This location and the service just feels faster and friendlier than the other locations in Buffalo. We pulled up to get a quick dinner and to see how they decorated for the holidays. My son loved the lights and decorations they had up. They even had their cow mascot out handing out cards to come back for a small dessert for the kids. We normally get the same food here every time. The chicken sandwiches are always great. The sauce options are always good and I like the amount of options they have. My son loves the chicken nuggets here and they have such a better taste than the other fast food nuggets. The iced tea and lemonades are delicious and when the weather is warm, they hit the spot. I ordered on the app after finishing up work and hopped in the drive thru. Even in winter, their staff is out there tending to peoples orders. I gave them my name and drove up to the window. My meal was ready and I was on my way, happy that both staff members were so upbeat and polite! On my way home I enjoyed my sweet iced tea. This location is always so wonderful. We went this morning for the breakfast with Elsa with our daughter and it was awesome. What an outstanding meal today. Everything was perfect. My grilled chicken sandwich was customized, fresh and moist. My waffle fries were fresh made, not sitting around under a heat lamp. An extra little perk today; all my sauces were put in a separate plastic bag instead of thrown all over the top of my fries. I greatly appreciated this! Happened to be in the area, drove past the location and had to double back to find somewhere to park. Upon entering I was greeted by which sounded like the entire staff lol. No line so I was taken care of right away. I opted for. #2 original spicy chicken sandwich meal with a hi-c to drink. We had lunch here yesterday. I was glad to see Chick-fil-A open in Buffalo, though still far from home for us. But we were out that way yesterday. Went first to the one on Walden, but that was drive-thru only, and we wanted the restroom. So we made the trek to the one on Transit. I hadn't been to a Chick-fil-A since last time I was in South Carolina. Used to LOVE their cole slaw, but they did away with that many years ago. Employee yesterday informed me it will never be back. Sad. Anyway, I had the Cobb salad, and I recommend it. If I get there again, I'll have the Lemon Kale Caesar Salad. And I hope to try the side salad of kale and cabbage with a vinaigrette dressing. The "cole slaw" replacement. The Cobb salad is served with your choice of chicken nuggets, breaded or unbreaded, or chicken strips. I chose the strips. From the receipt, it appears beverage is included with the price of the entrée. The salad was large --large enough to bring near half home to finish later. The salad dressings were delicious: I tried both the avocado lime ranch and the garden herb ranch. While the salad was large and very good, and crisp and fresh, I must post a tip about the dressings: Bring your own. I went ahead and used the two I'd requested (you live only once and, because of the distance from downtown Buffalo, I might never go to Chick-fil-A again). When I got home, I checked the bottle of store brand ranch dressing in my fridge to compare with the packets at Chick-fil-A. Mine-- in serving of 2 tbsp is 12 fat, 110 calories, 290 sodium. Both the avocado lime and the garden herb at the restaurant, and I'm guesstimating packet size was 3 tbsp, averaged 300 calories per packet, 35g fat per packet, and 320 sodium per packet. Overall, it was a nice lunch and I'm glad to have checked out the local Chick-fil-A. But I sure do miss their cole slaw. P.S. Masks were not required, the employees did not wear masks, but social distancing seemed to be adhered to. The restroom was very clean. read more

I like this location because the line is never as long. The service is great and the employee's are friendly. Now I had no idea they even served Mac and cheese so I decided to give it a try .. It was a very pleasant surprise, the macaroni wasn't overcooked and mushy, there was plenty of cheese and there is something about the slightly burned top that got stirred in. This container for me was enough to do what I needed which was fill me up along with a bottle of water. It was nearly 90 degrees this particular day and I hate eating heavy meals when it is hot. I'm not a huge fan of their food per say, but their cleanliness and service is fantastic. When I do go here, once in a very great while, I get the Cobb salad. I love the fact that they have people outside the drive through, taking your order and processing your payment, and directing the drive through lanes. When you pull up to get your order, it's already ready. It is so quick, and the workers are so polite! Their honey mustard sauce is pretty good too! I do recommend this place. read more

This chick fil a is definitely less busy than the location in Cheektowaga which is convenient when you want food faster. I had ordered breakfast on the app for me, my sister and my boyfriend at 10:00AM. Breakfast ends at 10:30. We arrived at 10:28, and at 10:30 they had already thrown out all of the breakfast items so my order was canceled. At that point my sister ordered lunch with a sweet girl named Imani. Imani was sincerely apologetic about the order being canceled and catered to my sisters needs. She was working hard with a smile on her face and was the definition of a chick fil a worker. My boyfriend and I ordered lunch in the other line. I mentioned that because our breakfast order was canceled, the items I had picked out to use my rewards on weren't available now so my rewards were going to go unused. Our cashier Danielle barely listened to us talking to her and she even answered the phone to ignore me further. She wouldn't even pour our drinks for us without a negative attitude. She was not friendly/pleasant at all and if it weren't for imani this review would have 2 stars. In complete shock. I've never been to a ChickflA. I didn't expect much from a fast food restaurant but this place is above and beyond. The tables are regularly sanitized and each table is tagged if it has been cleaned or not. (Most if not all were clean). The whole place is very clean and have pretty flowers on the tables. The customer service was so kind to make sure my order was adequate. As I waited for my catering order (I came in early- they were not late) they offered a free drink. Is it me or is the sodium content much higher in Buffalo compared to North Carolina. the nutritional guide says the same, but i'd like to differ. If you really love salt and meat as the texture, western ny chick fil a is for you. i've made roughly 4 visits over two years to this location believing maybe i received a bad batch. Nope, for two years the sandwich has been the same, more salt taste and no chicken flavor along with a dry mouth immediately after to last an entire day. We come to this location often and we've never had a bad experience until now. We waited 30 mins in line which was fine, but once we got up to the window we were told to go park in the drive thru parking spot to wait. We waited an additional 25 mins for our food while we watched every car behind us get their food first. At this point we thought we were forgotten about. After waiting for almost an hour in total, they finally came out with our order and the manager gave us 2 cards for a free meal which we appreciated. Some employees stopped at the place where I work and handed out a coupon to each person for a free sandwich before this location opened. I went the Monday after they opened at around 8 pm to pick up my free sandwich, and to also get some waffle fries. There were 2 cars ahead of me and the entire transaction from ordering to leaving the queue was under 5 minutes. I've always been puzzled about the Chick-fil-A hype. Come on, it's just a chicken sandwich. But I am now a convert. This is one of the best fast-food options I have ever sampled. Would I wait in line for 90 minutes for it? No. My wife has actually picked up the food here and told me that the lines were reasonable, and she was generally in and out in less than 10 minutes. The sandwich does not even need any of the sauces that people seem to be so crazy about. The sandwich stands on its' own. The meat appears to be real chicken and the batter is better than KFC as far as I am concerned. Prices are reasonable as well, considering the quality.
