Footlong and regular charred hotdogs w/fries.

I will always go to Ted's for a hotdog, fries (vinegar), and a large Loganberry! Nothing has changed with the quality of the food, customer service, or overall experience. #HappyEating #DogFriendly #EatOutside

The Scarlet Vetter says....Ted's Hot Dogs, regardless of the Western New York location you choose, serves great "fast" food consistently. While the price of a hot dog today at $3.75 is a far cry from the 1960's price of $.15, nothing beats the chargrilled taste, done to order at the grill while you watch. The system they have down to keep the line moving is pretty much to a science. Pictured was the line at 1:30 pm on this Saturday after Thanksgiving. It moved pretty fast and before I knew it I was diving into two chargrilled dogs, with hot sauce, sweet relish, mustard and onions with a pickle on the side of each. I really like how you can direct the dog makers on how to top each dog while you watch as well. Food as entertainment! A side of fries with cheddar cheese sauce and horseradish sauce and a medium diet pepsi, rounded out my meal. Total came to $18.61. If your companion can't stomach a dog, there are other choices availsble, such as burgers (including an impossible burger) sausages, a fried bologna sandwich, chicken sandwich and a fried fish basket. All good stuff!

Ted's Hot Dogs are a WNY staple. Char-grilled hot dogs with that blackened and singed taut casing, that snaps on your teeth when you bite in, at just the right time ... that one bite, it is a whole experience, in and of itself. :-D Ted's locations across WNY all operate fairly the same. You order at the register and rattle off what toppings you want on your dogs and/or burgers. Then your meats (or meat-free meats) hit the grill, are rolled around to your done'ness liking, then bunned-and-loaded-up with all your picks. And that's it, you're on your way to a table to indulge in some glorious gluttony. We've visited this particular Ted's a few times during pandemic times for a couple reasons. We like their outdoor seating area; the tables are well spaced out and not too close to the road. And we like the online ordering, so you don't have to wait in line inside. Online ordering allows for easy topping customizations and cooking preferences, and then quick grab-and-go at the counter when it's all ready. As for my Ted's faves, I typically always go footlong. That way I don't feel like a piggy, eating two hot dogs, hehehe. I load up my footlong with raw onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickle chips, and catsup and mustard. It's quite the task to eat, and my husband gets a kick out of watching me try and wrangle the beast, but I get it done. :-P The hubbs usually goes for a dog or two, sometimes a burger, but also throws in an audible with a sausage, all of which he enjoys. Our son enjoys the kids meals, which conveniently come with drinks. We also have a vegan daughter in the family, and Ted's offers vegan hot dogs too, with all the same vegetable toppings available, of course. Plus, if you are a vegan or vegetarian who is particularly concerned with cross-contamination, you can request a glove-change between orders. Online ordering allows you to easily request this glove-change, too. I'm writing this review on an 80-plus degree beautiful April day in WNY. And it has me thinking this Ted's patio may be in the cards for us again soon on one of these gorgeous spring days. If you too have a hankering for all-American comfort burgers-and-dogs grill food done right, Ted's just may be in your sunny future too! :-D

Ted's never disappoints when it comes to burgers and hot dogs, and this location is pretty solid! I commend this location for their service. We went as a family yesterday and we ended up waiting around 30 minutes before we were able to eat. They seem to be short staffed and they did the best they could: taking orders down the line of people, having everything ready when we got to the register, etc. Most restaurants are having a genuinely hard time now due to short staffing so I applaud them for their work! The food itself was tasty! It's hard to mess up a hot dog with ketchup, so I know what to expect each time I'm here. Their French fries are some of my favorites in Buffalo, though, so I always make sure to get myself an order. This location is nearest to where I'm living at the moment so I've had many good times here over the years!

It wouldn't be summer in Buffalo without a few trips to Ted's Hot Dogs to enjoy a great sahlens hot dog, some batter dipped onion rings and loganberry drink. Great as always

So everyone has pretty much given this a 4, it is a hit dog place, so if you're looking for gourmet cuisine, you've come to the wrong place. For a fast (kinda) food place, it gets a five from me. It's everything I've asked fir. A flame grilled dog, which tastes better than those done after home...crispy onion rings, more like straws, and thin crispy fries. I got the split, which having lived in Buffalo most of my entire life, I never knew this existed. Half fries/half rings for $4.89. Otherwise, fries, $2.44, 3.54 or just rings 4.79. If you're like me, you want both anyways. Of course, I had to top off the Buffalo tastings with a loganberry. That is a small in the picture.

Was thinking about warmer weather and sunny skies and immediately began craving Ted's. This fast-casual Buffalo staple has quality food at an affordable price. Char-grilled to perfection, your mouth waters as you watch the crew members sear, flip, and grill your food. The shoestring fries are perfectly salted but the best side would have to be the onion rings. They're unlike your typical thick circular onion rings, Ted's take a much more authentic and rustic approach with a light-handed batter and rough cut onions. Make sure to take a picture of your tray perfectly piled together because... did you even go to Ted's if you don't snap that iconic tetris-like tray pic?

You really messed up! Burned onion rnigs and cold Ordered goofed up in general And this went of your kitchen....SHAME on you Your comment we had been busy - who cares we all all are and if not busy u would note oh "19" lost us too much business Busy is never an excuse it it a signal to make things happen I personally think this was elder abuse as I wonder if a younger person this would occurr

A few friends and I arrived around 1:00pm on a Saturday for a later lunch and easily found a parking spot close to the main entrance. Walking in, the dining room is pretty big - definitely no shortage of tables or booths. We opted to sit at one of the tables outside - the outdoor seating is covered, which is nice. I was surprised to see no employees taking orders, but instead there were three or four tablets to place our orders. The ordering process is easy enough though and once you pay, you grab a pager that's tied to your order and wait. At this point, you can walk up and watch them grill and make your meal, which I actually remember (when you'd also order in that line too). The staff here seemed unhappy, if I'm being honest, and the interactions with them were practically non-existent. For lunch, I grabbed a hot dog with sweet relish and Ted's hot sauce along with a bag of sea salt chips and a bottle of water. What's there to say, it was a good Sahlen's hot dog, the combo of sweet relish and Ted's hot sauce was great, and the side of chips were good. I didn't want to be stuffed and this lunch did a great job satisfying any hunger before an early dinner. The price for all of this seemed a little high, in my opinion, but it was tasty and I left full so it is what it is! This was a good reminder that a hot dog from Ted's is pretty good! It was depressing to see how unhappy the staff seemed and that there's no more interacting but that seems to be the trend, the way fast food spots are going. But even with that, I wouldn't have a problem grabbing a hot dog from Ted's.

The grill was interesting-I figured it was simply gas or electric until I saw a person loading it with charcoal. Ted's has a typical fast food menu-we only had the hot dogs. Me a foot long and my wife , a regular. Fries are decent but at their price point, hand cut would be a huge improvement. Onion rings looked real good but at over $6.00, I opted out as the order looked huge and I'd likely eat less than half. Would be nice if they had a "basket" which included a lesser amount of fries or onion rings with your sandwich. Hot dogs were great. I like mine extra charred and that's the way it came out. There are many Ted's throughout Buffalo and the suburbs. With a great menu and food to back it up, I can see why they're successful.

Food was ready about five minutes after my scheduled time, which for as busy as they were, I thought that was great timing. Ordered the big sampler, with pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs! Platter is a nice size with large portions, four of us ate on it. The pulled chicken for me was a stand out, so good! 10 piece chicken wings, cheeseburger with fries, pizza logs and crab cake platter. For our sides we tried the mac and cheese, pasta salad, baked beans, mash potatoes and sweet potatoe fries. Everything was good and would get again, except the crab cakes. These were just not good, very fishy, and burnt. The pizza logs were huge! The Mac and cheese had no seasoning, but was cheesy and after little salt and pepper wasn't to bad. Definitely on my top three favorite BBQ spots! I forgot pictures, but enjoy the video!
