I stopped into Jay's Artisan Pizza the other day! This is one of my favorite spots. This was one of my first times that I stopped to dine in and this place did not disappoint. The ambiance was perfect for a quick lowkey date night. Intimate conversation good vibes and even better food. I'm vegan and I got the vegan pesto pizza and vegan cheese Detroit style pizza. My friend got a sausage and pepperoni pizza. The customer service was one of a kind. The server gave lots of suggestions and insight on what we should try.

New to the area and wanted to try something different than "Buffalo style" pizza. Very glad I stopped into Jay's. I love that they source many of their ingredients locally and emphasize a seasonal menu. I'd never had a corn and shishito pizza before but I love both of those veggies and thought it was a unique pairing. Pizza was absolutely delicious. I also added hot honey which was a nice subtle booster. Excellent quality, exceptional ingredients, and a very easy take-away order process. I don't mind paying a bit more for higher quality. I'll definitely be back.

SO GOOD! The spritzer to start was perfectly lemony & slightly sweet. We got the hot cherry pepper Detroit style & the summer squash wood fired. Hot cherry pepper was amazing- every bite was a fantastic burst of flavors. The crust was nice and crispy. The summer squash was non traditional but also an amazing flavor combination. It was light and delicious. We shared a Tiramisu- yum! Superb quality ingredients. Small space with minimalist design was fitting. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. Bravo!

There's Buffalo pizza and then there is Jay's Artisan Pizza both are great but both are different. Jay's is more like authentic old world pizza. They have round pies and specialty Detroit style square pizzas as well. You know when the hours say open until 8:00 PM or until we sell out that there's something special about the place - and there definitely is! Eat in or takeout. Both were buzzing tonight! Buon Appetito!

Detroit Style Pizza with Cane Sugar Cola

Their Detroit style pizza was absolutely superb, and their ice cold cane sugar cola was also fantastic. When I make my trip to Buffalo again, this is a spot I'd definitely circle and come back to. Wait times are fairly long, but once I had a bite I knew why people wait so long.

I really loved my pizza here! I was torn because they all sounded great! I went with the Quattro Formaggi as I haven't had one of these in 6 years. I was not disappointed! The crust was excellent and I wish I took a picture of the bottom because the char was utter perfection. I could smell the fragrance of my pizza too when it was placed before me. The blend of cheeses used on this pizza were delicious and gave a unique taste that was delightful. I loved all of my bubbles in the crust too! The pizzas are all sort of a personal size. But they are cut in four slices and there are smaller plates so you can mix and match if you like! The salads are a good size and look tasty, although I didn't order any. I just saw some people did. Johnny Ryan is the soda served here (local, out of Niagara Falls). Only 3 choices: regular, diet, or orange. There are some other things to drink too, such as wine, beer and espresso. After we ate they asked if we wanted tiramisu for dessert. I'm not sure if the dessert changes (because I didn't see it written anywhere; it was offered verbally). Parking out back, and there is an entrance back there (as well as the front). Be prepared to pay for quality ... this isn't your average cost for some pizza, but hey - it isn't your average pizza!!

Waited for an hour for opening time because we were in the area and I was dying to try their pizza (they opened a few minutes after 4 according to my time stickler kiddo). Shared a Margherita and Detroit hot cherry pepper with two kiddos (one liked the thin crust while the other like the deep dish. Me? Totally in love with the Detroit cuz I've never had honey in my pizza before and it was an epic experience *drooling rt now thinking bout it* We dined in and it was comfy casual. The tables started to fill up by the time we were done with a slice left to take home. Can't wait to come back for another Detroit pie :)

Man what a pizza place! Their Margherita pizza is fantastic but their Detroit style red top is life changing. It was so so so good! I've never had Detroit style and this was our first visit here it was awesome! Staff was great pizza came out quickly and prices were good. They're popular but they've got lots of tables and it's very casual. Street parking available! Awesome visit I can't wait to get some more!

In a word, delicious. Crafted with high quality ingredients, care and innovation Jay's Artisan Pizza delivers in spades. The dining room is small, decorated tastefully and minimally but with attention to detail. An open kitchen concept the service staff are friendly and hospitality oriented just as it should be. Highly recommend. I know I'll be back.

I came here with a friend and dined in. The restaurant is very small with minimal seating at tables or at the bar. I would not dine in with a very large group of people as it would be a pretty tight seating arrangement. I ordered the Margherita pizza. I was so surprised on how quickly it came out (less than 5 minutes it felt like). It did not surprise me that their pizza is rated at one of the top pizza places in the United States. It was the best pizza that I've had. The tangy sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and the most perfect crust; there wasn't anything I would change about it. And all for 14 dollars, I thought that was a very fair price with the high artisan quality of this pizza! Can't wait to come back soon.

I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years, but I recognized him instantly. Great service, polite and courteous staff, and delicious fresh food, are my initial reactions. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. I enjoyed my pizza, although I wouldn't order this one again. I do want to say that it is pricey but you will get a very big pie of great quality. The dough was excellent! It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). Once you order, there is a back dining room with several different size tables, but all with Bills chairs, which is a neat trend we loved seeing in this area, despite being from Florida. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. Now, the thing is, everyone likes different kinds of pizza, and apparently Brooklyn style isn't necessarily our jam, but for something we really don't like (black crust), it was still very good and we would highly recommend it to people who like more cooked pizza.

This time I ordered their take on a WNY specialty pizza: the chicken finger pizza. In short, it was fantastic! Since I'm a member of their rewards program, I received a "$5 off your next order" code and figured it'd been a couple months since my last visit. The coupon couldn't have come at a better time. I placed my order online on a Saturday around 4:15pm for a 5:05pm pick-up. I know, you lose a bit of the personability when you don't call the restaurant to place an order, but online ordering is so easy and quick, and I love being able to pick my pick-up time and know my order will be ready, and paid for, when I arrive. As of 07/2026, the inside of One Pie Pizza Co. underwent a remodel. It's not as spacious, but I think it opens up their kitchen more, which I'm 100% on-board with since that means more pizza and other goodies. The staff are just as friendly and courteous as ever, I'm glad that hasn't changed. So, for dinner, I ordered a QTR Sheet (six slice) from their "SUPER Specialty Pizza" menu - The BFLO Chicken Finger (blue cheese base) cooked "LIGHT WELL DONE", which is a choice between their homemade red sauce or blue cheese base that is topped with diced chicken fingers, mozzarella cheese, and Frank's (medium) sauce. The "LIGHT WELL DONE" option is for cooking the dough underneath a bit more, firming it up, making it crispier. I like a little extra cook on my pizza as, sometimes, the Buffalo-style dough is a bit too limp, almost soggy/wet, which makes holding a slice... challenging. haha Now, I've had a few chicken finger pizzas throughout the years and while I love them, they don't always love me back. They're typically very dense pizzas thanks to all the cheese (blue cheese base AND cheese blends on top) but I was impressed with how well One Pie Pizza Co.'s sat. Don't get me wrong, this pizza is absolutely loaded. When I opened the box, I was worried how I was going to pick it up as it looked messy, but as they say, appearances can be deceiving! I was impressed and didn't finish my meal wearing it all over my hands and face. Every slice was generously topped, the flavor was spot-on. Now, I love a cheesy pizza, but I really appreciate the constraint One Pie Pizza Co. showed with not going overboard with a "blend" of cheeses on top of a blue cheese base - The layer of mozzarella was plenty, a great flavor on its own. As with all of their pizza, this left me happy and full. With that $5 off coupon, this brought the price to under $20, an incredible price, especially in 2026! One Pie Pizza Co. remains one of my favorite pizzas in Buffalo. I'm glad I finally tried their chicken finger pizza, this was excellent. With how well it agreed with me, I'm pretty confident in saying One Pie Pizza Co. will be where I order chicken finger pizzas from exclusively going forward!
