Let me say there food is really good a 4. But let me say that this is not the first time this has happened. I Order food and there favorite saying 1 hour please. Ok 1 hour I'm good so 1 hour later I show up and wait another 20+ minutes for 2 subs yes 2 subs. When I arrive I was told they needed to melt cheese. 20 minutes later I get my subs 20 minutes to melt cheese. Just tell me it isnt ready and sorry for the delay please dont fabricate a story. Listen if its going to take 75 minutes to make my food let me know ill leave later I'm good. Unfortunately as of now its the only reliable pizza in town with out going to a restaurant. But I'm looking for an alternative and maybe a restaurant is where I go. read more

All different types of pizzas, and they are all delicious. I've had the pep, orange chicken, banana pepper and the best old fashioned around. They are always busy but the wait is not long and the staff is always friendly and upbeat. Always helpful. There is a sit down area with a tv but I usually take it to go! Recommend highly! read more

Well, I was excited to try Favorite's and unfortunately, it was a bit of a let down. They had a decent selection of slices available cheese, old fashioned, broccoli, tomato basil and maybe one or two more. One would think they would be in a warmed case, they were not. Since they were just hanging around room temperature, one would think there would be an offer to heat them up for you upon purchase; that was not the case. Eating room temperature pizza, not thrilling to say the least. I did take my pizza back to work and heat it in the toaster oven... It then was enjoyable. The restaurant itself was freezing cold and almost every can light had a "burst" of visible dust around it. Another lighting fixture was also very dusty as if the dust could fall off any moment on to your head while you were waiting to order. I think I would try the Amherst location and see if it is a different, more pleasing experience. read more

This is the second time in a row we have had a bad experience ordering from them. They said the food would be delivered by 7:45pm which was already close to a 90 minute wait time. It didn't arrive until 8. They were even later than that the previous time. The pizza was overcooked and the slices were all mixed up in the box like they were gonna throw it out and decided to just serve it to us. The wings were undercooked and tough. Low quality wings. This place is amazing. The lunch special for 6 bucks is an absolute steal 2 LARGE slices, endless variety of must tries and the taco steak pizza literally changed the way i live my life now. Jaw dropping deliciousness. Went in here this past week for the first time and ordered a half trap pepperoni and 20 wings (half mild, half hot) for $31 total. They were nice over the phone. When I was looking for this placer was a little difficult, just off of Centre street. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly ladies at the counter. They told me the wings were still being prepared so I waited 10 minutes and noticed a good sized clean dining room. They also have slices of different pizza on for sale under a glass case. Upon getting the order in noticed the food was packed and cooked really well. The pizza with a nice mild tomato sauce, and the wings nice and crispy. They pizza was a little thick in spots but a nice mild sauce taste with good pepperoni. Would definitely order from these guys again. read more

Great place to come for pizza! If you plan on coming on a Friday evening or other busy time call ahead, they get super busy! But the nice thing is even during those busy times they have well stocked shelves of a huge variety of types of pizzas you can buy by the slice! We got the BBQ chicken which was delicious. Covered in lots of chicken it is a good choice if you are looking for something a little nontraditional. Going down hill quick, and way to expensive. A salad and a small sub delivered $23 plus tip are you kidding. And it was just a SMALL salad with lettuce cheese tomato and cucumber and some burnt pizza bread. I order take out because when you go in there but smells so bad bc they won't get their hood fans fixed this has to be a health code violation so much grease in the air. Food is never consistent sometimes pizza is great other times it's terrible. They are always very busy but can't seem to handle it. We really need another pizzeria in Lewiston. Needless to say it's a gamble when you order from here and don't go there unless you want to go home immediately and take a shower because you will definitely smell terrible even after being in here for 5 minutes. Favorite's is a nice spot that is popular with locals in Lewiston. I go there for their pizza/ drink combo. I think it's about $6 for 2 slices and a drink. They always have a ton of pizza options to choose from. I personally love the chicken finger, tomato and balsamic or just plain cheese pizza. If you go in for anything else like a salad, sub or wrap, I'd suggest calling ahead. Also, if you go in around 11-12 when they open, be prepared for a long line of construction workers and other customers there for lunch. They're usually busy, but they always move people along relatively fast. Work close by and I think it's a great spot for a lunch run! read more

It pays to know locals. Without them we would have never found this place. Considering we've been coming to Lewiston for more than a dozen years and have never heard of this place it's more than proof that locals, not tourists, eat here. And there's a reason for that. Favorites is located off the beaten path and does a wonderful job at providing local and friendly service, better-than-average food and more than enough value. The portions are enormous. If you come during lunch or dinner take a look behind the counter and you'll probably see nine or ten employees working their butt off at the same time. That's because this place gets a lot of business. And they do because their food is good. Let's start with their subs. Even the small is enough to feed two people. And this isn't like Subway where the food is been sitting out for the entire day and the quality is terrible. They don't even prepare your sub until after you order it. It's made from scratch the minute the order is placed which brings a ton of value before you even leave the counter. I ordered the Baked Parmesan with chicken and it was so big I barely even ate half of it. Add the half pound of fries and you're going to be full really quick. The Philly is pretty darn good too. The toughest thing was watching other people order subs we didn't because we wanted to take a bite of every one of them. If you've been to DiBella's and buffalo this place is much better. Their salads are also monsterous. We ordered the Italian tossed and figured we would be able to split it between the three of us as a snack. Personally I was expecting a small salad that was just average. Instead, they brought would look to be like a salad they made from scratch after I ordered it. You'll be impressed. The toughest part of your night maybe looking at all the slices of pizza at the counter and deciding which one you want. The day we were there there appeared to be more than a dozen different specialty slices available. We tried a few of them and enjoyed them all but just had not enough room in our stomach for everything we really wanted to eat here. If you're from New York City or a place that a lot of Italian is available you aren't going to think this is the best the telling you ever had. However, it's going to be a chore to find something to complain about either because the service, friendly atmosphere and employees that actually want to be there makes the experience at Favorite's Pizzeria even better. Stopped there on Friday night for the first time after an extremely hard day at work. Young woman at the register was amazing. I was starving, along with being tired, I was overwhelmed by the choices of slices. I asked her to just choose 4 slices for me. After an instant of looking at me like I was crazy- she did not miss a beat. Happily walked over and starting the process. I ordered 2 standard specialty subs off the menu. The UB Bull and Lake Road. I added lettuce, tomato, onion to the Lake Road. When I got home, the UB Bull had mushrooms and grilled onions added. Sounds like a small deal, but I was trying to do a small favor for my wife by ordering out. She can't eat mushrooms and onions which is why we ordered that sub. She dealt with removing the mushrooms and onions best she could. I called Favorites. They offered to make and deliver a new sub but I live 20 mins away. Too late. Food quality was acceptable. Pizza and subs are ok here. I think they make some very good specialty subs that I would advise people to get over the standard cheese and pep. The subs can be kinda lite on the toppings and meat some times so it could be inconsistent if you order from them a lot. I would advise going to pick up as multiple times the food was wrong or they just plain forget to deliver something. The will come back with it but it takes a while and the food is usually cold by then. Over all Go eat there don't order take out. read more

I've had the pizza from here several times. It isn't anything extraordinary, but it is better than most other local pizzerias. My problem is with the parking lot. My mother went to pick up an order a few days ago. When she got home, she mentioned how poorly lit the parking lit was. No matter how good your pizza is, invest in making sure you have a safe place for patrons to park their vehicles. read more

The only way you'll get any food is if you show up onsite. I've lived here 7 years and every time I've asked for delivery this place has managed to screw it up. Not only that but I've never been told that it would be less than an hour. It never fails, I wait an hour and 20 minutes, call to see where my food is, and am told "I'm very sorry sir, I can have your food out to you in 40 minutes." 2 hours!!! are you kidding me? WHEN is this town going to get a pizza place that will make good on its promises and put this place out of business?
