Needed to try a different spot today, and Tony's was a place I've passed dozens of times and always said, "I've gotta try them". Initial impressions, very clean space and a welcoming smile and "can I help you "when I walked in. I'm a fan of good service and they nailed it. I also like to keep my pizzas comparable when trying some were new , so a basic cheese /lite sauce it was. Dough was really flavorful, and the sauce wasn't too sweet and the cheese was relatively thick and cooked perfect. I just wish it didn't have so much sag, I like a pizza that I can hold on hand and not fold. But it's a solid pizza, and I'd definitely consider a return visit to try their subs based on the conversation I had with another customer. read more

I've been ordering here for years, and I love it. I don't mess around with anything besides my go to pizzas. They are all great, white pizza, cheese pizza, pepperoni is my favorite. The crispy pepperoni packed on with that thick char. I love this place, I could eat it every day. Don't let the outside scare you away since the parking can get a little jammed. Order ahead it's usually 20 min for your pizza and it will come out hot and ready where the cheese is dripping off the sides. I've ordered their cheese pizza a few times over the past few months and always been happy, and my two tiny humans love it too. In fact, I think its their favorite. We were looking for someplace in the North Cheektowaga area open late on Saturday with a decent pizza deal. Tony's runs a Saturday special for a cheese sheet pizza for just $27 plus tax. Yes, you read right--A WHOLE SHEET. Most local pizza places charge nearly that much for a large anymore, so a whole cheese sheet for $27 is a steal. We called in our order, and a friendly clerk confirmed the deal on their website was still accurate and said about 30 minutes to pickup. Tony's has a small bright lot right on the Harlem/Cleveland traffic circle. Parking and pickup was easy. Our sheet came home HOT and HUGE! And it TOTALLY HIT THE SPOT. It was soft and doughy, with plenty of stretchy cheese and a nicely seasoned red sauce. It met all of our needs to carbo'-commiserate after a long and busy week. My son wanted pizza and wings so we ordered from Tony's! They have daily specials. We decided on the #3 Mini Pack. It was ready in about 30 minutes for pickup. Everything was delicious. Wings were half barbecue and have honey mustard. The wings are not dry and they are not skimpy on the sauce. So if you like saucy chicken wings this is a must try! read more

Nothing really spectacular about the place. They have been consistent during all the years I have been coming. I think i come here so much, because it's the neighborhood pizza spot. Tony the Tiger owns this place. He uses it as a front to smuggle Frosties in from places like Angola and Indonesia. Fair enough. I tried this pizza not too long ago, and it wasn't particularly wonderful nor was it particularly awful. Pretty nondescript, there is much better and much worse out there. I will have to go back there and give it another try to see if it might be raised to a 4. Buffalo has some of the best pizza in the world, but this one wouldn't be on my shortlist of must-try-pies. read more

Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good pizza in Buffalo. I've personally never went wrong since the first time I ordered from Tony's. It is one of my favorites and very close to home. I can drive there to pick up pizza after an entire bottle of wine it's so close... Just saying, but no don't do that - that's what delivery is for. I can always expect my order to be ready within less than a half hour of ordering, waiting nice and hot even if I take forever to get there. Of course sometimes I call last minute before they close so then I get there on time those days... Customer service I've experienced here is always great. They deal with my chronic clipper coupons literally every time I order on a non-special day or combo package, and they do it happily. They also happily honor my extra sauce request without an extra charge and never under or over do it. The pizza is delicious and a large never lasts me more than 2 days, which may or may not be a bad thing... And plus side - as far as I know the toppings I've had are fresh. The mushrooms are definitely fresh. Canned mushrooms on pizza are always a no no. Also love Tony's bbq wings. I've had a sub and I'm picky on my subs, and salads, eh I can do without them here... So so. But pizza yes and wings yes. Give them a try - I did and I don't regret it - just my wallet does, ten times later. read more

We have lived in the area for over 25 years and have ordered from Tony's on and off. At times it has become necessary to take a break from ordering from them because the quality has been horrible. Post Covid they have really suffered with staffing challenges and lack of a "grown-up adult" manager on staff. There are mostly college age kids working who do not have the authority to perform service recovery when their high school counterparts do not satisfy the order properly. Unfortunately our most recent visit will likely be our last. Incorrect and sloppy best describe our most recent sub order. Two simple basic subs took over an hour to make and were incorrect not to mention expensive. Sorry Tony's but you're not the only game in town hopefully you can get it together. read more

Ok, I'm back to Yelping because we had THE BEST pizza & wings last night. Both were outstanding. When does that happen? I ordered their party pack for $46.60. C & P sheet pizza, 25 hot & 25 barbeque wings for pick up. Since we're back in Snyder I was happy to make the 2 minute drive. The total came to $50 and change because of the wing order. It was about 800 degrees inside that store, but the young guys who were cooking and ringing couldn't have been nicer, or more accommodating. The pizza was super cheesy, and the pepperoni's were like the way they should be, sliced thin and cooked so the rims were crispy. The wings were toted home in a foil lined and separated CARDBOARD box. No styrofoam which instantly makes wings soggy and crappy. They were huge and piping hot and delicious. YUM. read more

I think previous reviews are spot-on when calling this a very safe, middle of the road pizza. Definitely not the best, but far from the worst pizza in the area. This is a great place to grab a couple of slices for lunch of dinner, which is usually what I get. I've ordered whole pies from here as well, and they definitely decent. Great pizza if you like it greasy. Not even sarcastic or anything. It's delicious, however it tends to be pretty greasy. Wings are very nice (most nights) and so are the subs. ATROCIOUS BLEU CHEESE THOUGH. It has basically zero bleu cheese chunks. Tastes like vinegar mixed with spit. If they want to sell liquid talcum powder like that, I recommend them to leave Buffalo. Neither the best nor the worst pizza I've had. Kinda middle of the road. I ordered and picked up a "White Pizza" (Tomatoes, Olive Oil, Garlic, Oregano, Basil and three kinds of Cheese - Mozzarella, Fontanelle and Romano) from here yesterday. The people behind the counter were friendly and the pizza came out of the oven at exactly the time they told me it would on the phone. When I got it home it was still nice and hot. It was a bit greasy though (even after blotting it with a napkin) and a little bland. I realized by the second piece that it's because it didn't have onions on it (not that it says it does on the menu..... it's just that every white pizza I've ever had before had 'em). the standard Buffalo takeout fare found here is subpar, overpriced, and served up always with a wait. the chicken wings are mutants, and not in a good way. subs are routinely ice cold or burnt to a crisp. pizza is bland and crispy. the only redeeming menu item thus far is their 'version' of a chicken ceasar wrap, that is basically a grilled breast served up with salad in a spinach tortilla with a side of italian dressing. i usually order it so i can feed the chicken to my dog. the service here is just short of awful, with wait times routinely taking up to fifteen minutes longer (i've walked in ten minutes after the pick up time to find my chicken still on the grill and my wrap yet to be made). the place is seemingly run by teenagers who are clearly NOT star students, and a manager is rarely ever noticeable. i suggest any of the other takeout joints in this area, you will probably be met with moderately better food at a more reasonable price point. read more
