Best Pizza in Buffalo. Ordered from here about 15 times now and the consistency is impressive. Delicious every time.

It's been a while since my last review but the pizza here still reigns supreme. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, Pizza Bistro. This is one of my favorite specials they do in the Spring. Sausage, mustard, onions and more make this a pizza you need to try when it's available. It's incredible how fast the service is here. One person in the back making pizzas, and another up front taking care of the ordering, desserts, and serving. That's a well oiled machine to keep these pizzas coming and going out. I've been a fan of this pizza spot for awhile now. It's one of the best in the city and I think everyone needs to try it at least once. I will be back for more as always. read more

I'm late to the party in trying this spot, and I'm MAD about it! Absolutely delicious! I'm a fan of Detroit style pizza and they do it exceptionally well! The crust was so buttery and crunchy just the way I love it. The sauce is delicious. The pizza toppings were perfect in the amount without needing to order extra like some places. Came in for pick up and was greeted with a smile. I am a fan! We tried the pepperoni with chili hot honey and thebsausage hot pepper. Both were delicious!!! BFLO Pizza Bistro is a locally owned establishment with one of the best pies in Buffalo! They make a Detroit style pie and it is absolutely DELICIOUS! They are open Wed-Sat and there's ample street parking. Inside there's a few tables for dining in and some tables outside (weather permitting of course) to dine outdoors. I think most people order for take out. The menu consists of pizza, salads and a couple desserts. They also have a few varieties of wine and beer. The bottle of Malbec that I had was really really tasty and the price was very reasonable. Let me just say...the fresh, home made ingredients make this pizza extra special! The Sicilian pie was was better than you would expect from a tomato pie. It was delicious and complex and it is naturally vegan. I would definitely order it again. It's a different experience than a classic pizzeria pizza. Would love to see them experiment with another vegan option, even just a special. Had to try because of the high reviews. We started with a salad which was very good. I ordered the pepperoni pizza with the hot honey sauce and my wife ordered the margarita pizza. The deep crust was delicious however both of us thought the sauce was too tomatoey. I also thought there should be more char pepperoni on my pizza. We ordered the Tiramisu and a chocolate cannoli. Both were great. You place your order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. The pizzeria is small inside with counter seating and small round cafe tables. The wife takes the orders, delivers the food and makes the delicious desserts while her husband makes the pizza. read more

Went for lunch wth a friend and ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza and it was so, so good! The pizza was perfectly cooked and crisp in all the right places and very flavorful. Intimate spot in an easily accessible location on the West Side. I was immediately greeted and my order taken. Menus and specials are visible and explained. We enjoyed a wonderful pizza. The BFLO pizzas are definitely different; they are square (8x10) and the cheese gives it a very crispy outside. We had the mushroom rosemary pizza with roasted garlic and béchamel sauce. Really, really good. Because of the sauce the pizza is very sloppy. It is served on a rack and the sauce nicely drips through it. The rosemary taste was really present and gave it a special touch. A pizza serves 1-2 people. We took 1 quart home. We shared a rosemary, mushroom pizza with roasted garlic and béchamel sauce. It was delicious. There are 4 square slices, meant for one or two people. We ate 1 1/2 pieces each and brought home one whole square for the freezer. The topping was great and the crust was nicely crunchy, but very thin. I ate my slices with a knife and fork as the béchamel sauce was a bit runny. It was just easier this way! read more

I tried the Margherita style the other day and the dollop of whipped ricotta was like having pizza and dessert all in one. When you come to the fork in the road, stick it into one of their delicious salads. You'd like a bit more dessert? Try Samantha Flynn's gluten free pizzelles with whipped ricotta and chocolate chip dip. I don't find a website, but BFLO Pizza Bistro is on Instagram. Maybe there is a menu there. What a find this place was and totally unique to Buffalo! The pizza was outstanding I had their special with sausage and banana pepper and my fiancé had the rosemary mushroom baschimel sauce pizza. Holy crap how good! The free Briar brother beer made the meal 100/100 we were so happy with everything! The owners were super nice and we talked with rhwk about our cats and the business and they were happy to share. Cute little space inside too with tables to sit and enjoy this delish pizza! After checking out BFLO Pizza Bistro in 2023, I was very impressed and knew I needed to come back. Thanks to a Yelp-perk, I was finally able to make it back and walked away just as impressed! I stopped in on a Saturday right at 5pm and was able to walk right up and place my order. Note that it is strictly street parking but somehow there is a spot very close by. The husband/wife team that owns and run this shop are very courteous and friendly with the husband making the pizzas in the kitchen while she managed the front of the cute shop and took care of the customers. Once my order was placed, I took my drink and grabbed a stool at the bar at the window and just watched people and cars go by, listening to the light, easy-going music softly playing over the speakers. The inside, for being as small as it is, has quite a bit of tables and seating and there's a big u-shaped table outside, perfect for grabbing dinner on those beautiful summer nights in Buffalo. Honestly, this was so relaxing and just put me in a calm, happy mood, sipping on a cold beer. About 15 minutes later my pizza was brought out to me with a plate and napkins and I was ready to dive in. The pizza I ordered was their monthly special: sausage, banana pepper, vodka sauce pizza. This is an 8"x10" Detroit-style pizza topped with a Hanzlian's stuffed banana pepper sausage (a Cheektowaga-located sausage shop that has a great variety of meats - I know as I have ordered from them quite a few times!), vodka sauce, banana peppers, mozzarella cheese, with whipped ricotta dolloped on top of everything at the end. I absolutely loved this pizza! The stuffed banana pepper sausage had a nice, little kick to it but nowhere near the spice level to burn away your tastebuds. The vodka sauce was the only tricky part about this pizza as it is more liquid when compared to a traditional red sauce, but the flavor is ridiculously good. The banana peppers on top added a little more heat with the sausage but if the creamy, delicious whipped ricotta was there to cool it all down. The crust is truly standout here with the cheese "skirt" surrounding it, offering a satisfying, and flavorful, crunch finish off each slice. Being more Detroit-style, the dough was thicker but had great chew and was not hard bite through. The 8"x10" Detroit-style pizza was the perfect portion for one person with a big appetite. I was very (happily) surprised how full I was after getting through the four slices. The price for this pizza was very reasonable, the high-quality ingredients and portions are excellent. As I was getting ready to leave, I saw they bottled their homemade hot honey. I LOVE warming some hot honey and drizzling it on my pizzas, so I had to support my local pizza shop and grab a bottle! BFLO Pizza Bistro provides cool, relaxed European-style café vibes inside with a smaller, more focused menu. Combine all of that with the courteous, friendly husband/wife duo that hold it all together, makes this place a great spot to take friends, or perhaps a date, you want to impress with a nice experience and great pizza! read more

We came after 6 pm for dinner. We found a parking spot across the street from the restaurant. It is a small cozy place with a good amount of seating inside. We were lucky to go on a beautiful warm day, so we got to take advantage of their outdoor seating! I ordered the Margherita pizza with whipped ricotta. We sat outside and the food was quickly brought to the table. The pizza was incredible and unlike any other pizza I've had in the Buffalo area. The crust is very fluffy and light. It reminds me of focaccia bread. I loved that the edges had crisped cheese. I would never think to add ricotta to a pizza, but I was happily surprised with how much it added to the flavor. It was a very filling portion and I went home with left overs. I will definitely be back for more! read more

I don't normally give out 5 stars but I loved the pizza so much here at Buffalo Pizza Bistro that I have to give it a five out of five!We had the specialty pizza which was stuffed banana pepper with Vodka sauce and sausage and the pepperoni pizza with hot chili honey .... They were both excellent... I couldn't decide which one I liked better!! Their pizza is Detroit style ... which I had never had before.... Detroit-style pizza is a rectangular pan pizza with a thick, crisp, chewy crust. It is traditionally topped to the edges with mozzarella or Wisconsin brick cheese, which caramelizes against the high-sided heavyweight rectangular pan. We loved it!!!! Craft beer and wine are available as well as soft drinks and sparkling water. Samantha took care of us from behind the counter, moving some tables together so that our party of 5 could eat inside. There is not a lot of seating here, but we arrived at 7:30 and easily found seating. There is also some picnic table seating outside. There is no parking lot to park in, but we were able to get spots on the street without much of a problem. The atmosphere is very informal, but the staff was very friendly. Our pizza chef came over to us and asked us how the pizzas were after our meal. I told him that they were delicious and that we were definitely coming back. If you have not tried the Detroit style pizza yet, I recommend that you get your first taste at Buffalo Pizza Bistro!!!! read more
