This has been on the list to try for awhile and the night finally presented to us. I called for delivery, super nice staff, and said it wood be under an hour. Halfway through, apparently they heard the numbers for the card differ and it couldn't process. Super apologetic and nice, and nice to get our actual info. Said it would be out shortly for delivery, and they were spot on. We got the pizza and wings about 20 min later and it was PERFECT! I think Pappaceno's has the the most underrated pizza in WNY. Nice sweet and slightly spicy sauce. Gooey thick cheese. And perfectly made pepperonis. Curst and thick and has nice crunch to it. A REALLY good chicken finger and turkey club sub. Wings are OK. Plump. Flavorful. Staff could use some work. I get it, the computer isn't working - it sucks. In particular, the chicken Parmesan dinner is one of the best values I've ever found. When I first came in this place, you can tell from the warmth and homey feeling that this is a mom and pops place. They serve different kinds of traditional pizzas, pastas, subs and finger foods. You can either dine in or take your food to go, either way, you will receive great customer service. For appetizer, my sister-in-law and I ordered wings , in medium heat and a side of bleu cheese. The wings was huge in itself can be considered a whole meal if you eat it alone for an order of 10. For our entree, we ordered baked spaghetti with meatballs and fried dough with melted butter and powdered sugar. Let me tell you guys something, even a restaurant serves simple food, it has to be perfect; and you know what?, they nailed it. The pasta was cooked perfectly and it pairs great with the baked melted cheese. This meal came with homemade garlic bread and a side salad. The fried dough was fried right as well and the butter that was on top was evenly coated on top. Moist and delicious, it can be considered as either a savory dish or a dessert. I love Pappaceno's. It's got a nice, old school pizza joint vibe and aesthetic, and the food is always amazing. I'm not really into wings or the various other appetizers that are popular at pizza places, so I've only ever had their pizza and pasta, but both are really good The service used to be hit or miss, but has been gotten way better over time, in my experience. Pappaceno's is definitely not my favorite pizza joint in WNY, but since moving out to the Southtowns, it does the trick. I think their sauce is a bit too sweet and their pepperonis don't have the same spice and crisp as pepperonis are traditional Buffalo pizzas, but when I'm in a pinch and/or having guests over, it's an easy go-to. (I dislike Cappeli's down the street even more, so I stick with Pappaceno's.) I also like their mozzarella cheese bread, which is on their menu, but only one employee there seems to know what it is. Any time we call we have to describe what it is, even though like I said, it's on THEIR menu. Their garlic parmesan chicken fingers are pretty good, but they always end up burnt so we typically just order hot fingers as they're pretty hard to mess up. My other gripe is the price; their pizza is WAY too expensive. I'm talking $70+ for a cheese sheet pizza and some barbecue wings. Yikes! I'd gladly pay that for some of the WNY pizza mainstays (we all know who they are), but not Pappaceno's. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and wings. I though both were very good. The pepperoni had a little toasting on it, which was fantastic. The wings were delivered hot and crispy. I am very disappointed in this restaurant's policy when it comes to older gift certificates. I called to see if they would honor it and they said they would not. Someone paid hard-earned money on this gift certificate and for them not to honor it- just does not sit right with me. I probably will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Flight cancelled. My first thought after *$%!*# was...now we can get more buffalo wings!!! And we did. Along with some slices of pizza. Got them to-go and took them back to our friends' home for some Superbowl watching. The wings here were amazing!! Better even than Just Pizza. The pizza was just meh...way too thick of a crust, it was more like a meal, with the world's weirdest tiny thick pepperoni's. Ate it anyway, I mean it was still tasty. Just not AS tasty. The wings though...everyone loved 'em. We got the blend of drumsticks and wings, spicy. And it was spicy!! Spicier than Just Pizza. Great bleu cheese for dipping. YUM. My husband loved finishing them off the next day, cold from the fridge. Great way to end our visit to Buffalo. Love this place, the most underrated za' joint in OP. The white pizza is awesome. Cheese pep tastes great too. Been going here for around 15 years and the food has remained super consistent. Subs and chicken fingers/wings are really good. I remember going here when I was in high school and getting a two slice special during open campus my senior year. Also my buddy used to live in the neighborhood right behind it so we used to order up some food and eat it all drunk. Good times. Only thing keeping it from being five stars is they have dial up internet, which sounds weird but they only have one phone line. We order from here regularly, by that I mean at least once a week. When we order we order big, sheet pizza every time. Rarely do we get a not so great pizza, their food is consistent and great. Lately we've been branching out from our usual order of sheet pizza & fries and tried their beef taco, eggplant parm sub. Their subs are always good as well, we've had turkey, turkey club, cheeseburger. All in all their food is consistent and great. The owner is pleasant and even throws in a free two liter of soda almost every time we order which I said is pretty much every week and we always order big. Great local place, great food. read more

Been a customer for twelve years and thrilled they don't make a cracker crust pizza! It's always perfect, especially on Wednesday night -- discount pizza! Love the chicken fingers and royal subs and turkey club subs with real recognizable bacon! Staff are efficient and polite. Nice selection of bottled and canned sodas, even diet! We wanted to try something different, so I drove about 15 min To give Pappaceno's another try. I've had their "sheet" pizza during football season. It was different. So I was open to giving it another shot. Pizza is sub par. Very bland. Crust is cardboard like and lacks flavor. Sauce had little to no flavor. Had better pizza at gas stations tbh. Customer service was also sub par. I literally stood and waited in front of older lady at counter for about 3 min before I was greeted. She was doing paperwork, and it made the whole experience awkward. With hundreds of pizzerias in WNY I wouldn't revisit, or recommend. read more

It used to be a good small pizza place who too pride in the product they put out. In the In the last few months they have messed up 6 out of 8 times. They have plenty of excuses but don't bother to correct. I am tired extra for ingredients that either aren't on there or you get very minimal. For example tonight I got 8 pieces of hot peppers on a large pizza. That is right one pepper per piece of pizza. Then they forgot onions all together but they took it off the bill. Gee you think??
