Went to Lewiston, NY while visiting Niagra Falls. We stumbled upon Flip Burger, so we stopped for lunch. My sister and I agree it's one of the best burgers and french fries we've ever had. To say I love burgers is an understatement. Burgers are definitely my favorite food with pizza as a close second. Luckily, Flip Burger knows what they're doing, and they do it well. I stopped in as I was heading back and forth to meetings for work and this spot was on my list for awhile. The staff was super friendly when I walked in. The interior has a five guys vibe but less in your face about it. I ordered a double cheeseburger and they let you pick all of your toppings which was great. It wasn't very busy so my burger was made really quick and I was happy with barely any wait at all. This was a fantastic burger. I will definitely be back next time I'm up in Lewiston. read more

Flip Burger is the only burger joint in Lewiston. The burgers are good but very expensive - especially if you add on with bacon or other non-standard extras. Quick stop for lunch before after school program. I was craving a veggie burger; so off course I went on yelp to search and this spot came up. As I pulled up to the lot you can tell that the area is a bit new. Spacious parking area and when I entered I was greeted with a smile. I made an order of veggie burger and a side of Cajun fries. It took about 15 minutes for my order to come out. I did take out but dined in for a little bit. The inside is a bit small but had a nice diner feeling to it. Definitely clean and looks well kept by the staff. I enjoyed my burger and fries; I was given almost a bag full of fries lol. All in all a great space to grab lunch and you won't be disappointed. Lewiston doesn't need another pizza joint. OK, to be fair, it doesn't need a new one if Vincenzo's can reopen, but it does need a burger joint. There have been many. This is the latest. Clearly going for the 5 Guys crowd and they pretty much nailed it. Burger absolutey tasted like meat (not something else, not truffle oil, not season salt etc....) The meat stands on its own. Plain, it would still be a good burger. Bun, toppings - all fresh. Large portions of all and extra fries in the bag. Homemade rings. The whole deal. They got Nathan's dogs, a chicken Sammie, but we didn't do those. We were looking for a burger. If you like real hamburgers and, well, 5 Guys, no need to leave Lewiston. This is no fast food burger, not even an In Out like thing - it's definitely better. Why not 5 stars? It's a very good burger joint and one to go back to for sure. But it is still a burger joint. Any burger joint is going to struggle for a 3 so 4 puts in in a special class. Atmosphere is decent, the place is clean. The food is what it is. To get 5 stars they would have to have something epic in atmosphere and probably some challenging local specialties. They came close! We had a stinger burger. That was very good according to my guest. The challenge in Lewiston will be customers! There's only really two places (and a half) to get lunch in less than an hour in Lewiston in any given day and none feature burgers and fries. People, go eat there. Let's keep it going. I can't eat burgers every day, but when I need one, I'm going here. read more

The staff seems to be different each time I go in there but they're always hard working and always friendly. And the place is always clean. The fry portion is huge!
