We had Fred's for our event a week ago. The pizza is pretty standard, not the best pizza ever but still pretty solid. I would come here again if I wanted some pizza. But I have to say what does it is the staff. The man that was working the register was so friendly and on top of it. When I walked in he knew immediately I was there for the 3 sheet pizzas and helped me load them into my car. Then we placed another order because we were running out and literally all I did was pull into the parking lot not even out of the car yet and he was bringing my food out and loading it into the car (we already paid). He was outstanding!! They are great there, and the customer service is what will keep us coming back to order again and again for our company or even ourselves. Thanks Freds! read more

Food quality has been steady since the 90's. For a small town pizza place it is not bad. Had issues with them i past but the staff is usually ok for making things ok. As far as the shop goes has not really changes since 2003. Still 2 booths that are really only there to wait for your food. read more

Ordered a full tray pizza and 50 wings for a party. The pizza was pretty good, wings were very good. Menu said wings included blue cheese, celery and carrots.....however none of these were included! We called and to advise and they said next time we order they will give us some! Unfortunately that didn't help tonight's dinner! Luckily we had a little blue cheese at home! read more

Great sweet sauce option on pizzas. Subs are all fantastic, have had the chicken finger dinner several times as well. Owner is usually there and is very friendly. Food is ready when they say, even though they're usually pretty busy. Quaint eat in area as well, but I don't think it's manned. Would recommend read more

Great pizza! When we feel the urge for some great pizza, we call and order at Fred's! The sweet sauce always makes it!

Had my first Fred's on a whim this past weekend. It's quite out of the way for me, but I wanted to go on a little drive and try a new place. The drive (about a half hour) was worth it. The small pizza I ordered was delicious with the sweet sauce and cup and char pepperoni. The wings were great (though I would get them extra crispy and saucy next time, personal preference), and my partner's turkey club was also delicious. I have to admit that I felt a little embarrassed at how much I ate at one sitting - it was that good. I got to meet Fred the owner and he was cool guy! Thanks, Fred - keep up the good work. read more

Overall good food and good service. My family and I always order from here. Sweet sauce is great, crust is more on the thin side. read more

I first heard about Fred's when I was working at another job and I tried their wings and the wings were barbecue honey parmesan and they are beyond delicious so now that I'm no longer working at that job every once in awhile when I'm craving wings I will take the 40 minute ride just to get those wings they have been good every time and the staff is also excellent great customer service and the last time I was there they were also selling different types of popcorn so I bought some caramel popcorn and that was also a great snack I highly recommend this place for some delicious wings, I changed phones and I will post a picture of the wings as soon as I find them, I would drive 100 miles to get these wings read more

We recently moved to Amherst and are close to Pendleton. Fred's is by far my new favorite pizza place. Their sweet sauce is absolutely amazing. I don't know what they do to their crust but it's crunchy outside and soft inside is everything I live for. Their wings are good boneless or regular. Their prices are extremely reasonable. We've never been disappointed ordering here our food is always on time and delicious. read more

Fred's Pizza & Subs - My fiancé could even wait for me to get my photo - Pizza Near Me - Lockport, New York

My son stopped here often when he was attending UB a couple years ago and brought meals home for us. We became pretty regular customers about 2-3 times a month. Always a good experience. I like to watch TV. read more

This was the first time I've been to Fred's. The pizza delicious and the people were nice. I would definitely recommend it.

Must have driven past this place dozens of times over the years going to and from my sons baseball tournaments but never thought of stopping. Yesterday we were training and wanted to grab a quick lunch so we decided to give it a try. My buddy had some kind of chicken sub (forgive me I don't know exactly which one) and I had the Turkey club sub. He really enjoyed his and said it was really good and my turkey sub was awesome, one of the best I've had without a doubt! The turkey seemed to have been freshly cut and layered right on the roll from the slicer. And the roll, the roll can make or break a good sub and in this case the roll made it! It was a super fresh Costanzo's roll lightly toasted giving it a little crunch. Next time we are training or traveling by for a baseball tournament I'll be sure to stop again, maybe try their pizza next time! read more

The absolute best pizza in WNY! Fred is the best guy around makes you feel like family the second you Walmart in the door!

Ordered two kinds of pizza, two kinds of wings, salad and the sampler platter. Really liked the honey barbecue wings and the sampler platter was as good as any standard fried food. The medium wings had a good flavor and were made just right. I wasn't a fan of the pizza but I've been told that "it's an acquired taste". The chef salad was iceberg with a little cheese and a few tomatoes. read more

Got a small pepperoni and cheese, and while I would have liked it cooked a bit longer and a better quality pepperoni used...their sweet sauce was nice, and both cheese and crust were pretty good. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. read more

Great chicken finger pizza. We also love the sweet sauce on the cheese pizza. Kind people with good food. Give them a try.

The first time we ordered a pizza, we were in love with it, My husband said don't expect it to be this good every time. He was wrong. Anything we ordered after that including wings and subs were outstanding. Always feels like your dealing with family ! read more

Best pizza in Buffalo. Get the Large Char-n-cup pizza with sweet sauce and you will not be disappointed. We love it there.

Been coming here for my entire life! I know Fred personally and he is wonderful! Great food, deals like 75¢ wings on Thursdays!

My four stars are for the subs. I'd give the pizza a 1 star. Let's start with the pie. They have a solid base in the crust, but the sauce is not seasoned right and the toppings are cheap. The pepperoni is rubber like. The sweet sauce is worse. If you're looking for a good sweet sauce there are other pizzerias doing a much better job. Not all is lost tho! I tried the subs during a later visit with a couple friends and each were fantastic. The first was the turkey, another was an assorted and the last was a salami. Each person couldn't get over how delicious they were. I'll definitely return to try the wings and most likely a warm sub. Pizza, tho, is a no go. read more

We order from Fred's almost once a week now ever since we discovered it. Probably the best pizza near Pendleton/East Amherst.. I especially love their sweet sauce (not the default.. you have to order it specifically). Cheese is generous and melted to perfection and prices are very fair. Service is great and my order is always on time. Love my Fred's!! read more

Pizza is high up on my list of favorite foods, and Fred's pizza is at the top of my list of favorite pizza places. The sweet sauce is amazing. Make sure you ask for the Tuesday night special and you won't be disappointed! read more

Fred's has the best pizza in the greater Pendleton area. Actually Fred's pizza has the best pizza between downtown Pendleton and most of Amherst including the place that "just" has pizza in the name. For a real treat order the sweet sauce and on Tuesday's it a real deal. Say hello to Freddie when you're there. read more

I used to love Fred's pizza, but it's gone downhill the last couple of years. The only time I order from here is when friends return to the area and they want some nostalgia from our old pizza hangout. The wings are okay here, but sometimes they're skimpy on the sauce, The pizza's meh and I've had more than a couple of burnt pies here. My orders have also been mixed up. The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get out of. I stopped ordering subs here because if you order it toasted you get it burnt, so if I want a quick sub I just go to Kenyon's across the way. The staff's friendly, wait time isn't long, but the pizza's just okay with inconsistent quality. read more

As classic as it gets. This is a pizza place that we order from at work since our office is a minute away in Pendleton. We like the prices, and the thin crust sweet sauce. The subs are classic, old school subs, I like the ham sub. It sound boring but when they add their oil it is amazing. read more

Have been ordering from here for 3+ years. Pizza and subs are mediocre. Wings are TERRIBLE. The owners attitude, lack of basic customer service skills, and blatant disrespectful comments, have finally taken its toll on my family. We will NEVER order from here AGAIN! read more

Always makes my stomach hurt. Ever since I was a child, my parents would order from there, and it felt like there was lead in my stomach. But it was the only pizzaria in Pendleton. Yesterday my parents brought pizza and wings over, and now my family (my husband and I and 3 teenagers) all have stomach aches. Hasn't changed much!! read more

I used to love Fred's. The sweet sauce is unique but on the last 2 orders from there one we received half burnt pizza and on another occasion I ordered a cheeseburger sub (usually absolutely delicious) and there was only meat on one half of the sub. Nothing more disappointing than expecting cheesy goodness and getting tomatoes, lettuce, and bread. Hopefully things turn around, but there are SO many locally owned pizza places around here an extra 10 minutes to get what I actually wanted won't kill me. read more

Just bought a order of 10 wings. $970 for 10 and they are the smallest and thine st I ever had!! definitely will never buy agai5. Shame on you freds!! read more

Our pizza was over priced for a 8 piece pie. 6 of us ordered and they never said, " are you sure you want that size for your party ? " There was 8 small pieces in their large pizza that was $20. The sauce was not good and we waited 45 min for it. All teens working or should I say talking and hanging out. They were irritated when we walked in because they didn't want to wait on us. I would not recommend going here after our experience Floor is not clean and the tables were all wet when we sat down. No customer service here I changed our rating to a one from a two. At a family restaurant they were playing MTV on their tv and it was very crude content for children we got up and left read more

Love Fred's Pizza, there sweet sauce is amazing, and so is there chicken finger pizza! Great food, great service!

I would drive 20 minutes past Fred's to get a good pizza all day long. Bad pizza, horrible

Cheese and pepperoni with sweet sauce is incredibly delicious. I live 10 miles a way but happily drive to pick up a pizza. They also have a greatly priced $4.75 lunch special of 2 slices of C+P and a pepsi. Monday is the day they have discounts. A large pizza is only $11-12. read more
