    Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen
    Roger H.

This is my first experience with town line Pizza. Located on Broadway near town line in Alden, this place is take out only but they do have a bunch of picnic tables outside if the weather is nice. Please note that this review is based on a large order that was picked up for a sweet 16 birthday party that was being held down in Larkinville. That being said, the pizza and wings were held for a while before being served. There was a large antipasto that had plenty of turkey, ham, The kind of cheeses you would find and subs, and onions, tomatoes, olives and the like. It was really quite big and fed more than the amount of people that were there. Standard Italian dressing on the side. The chicken wings were both buffalo medium and barbecue. The wings were very large, especially in this day where wings have become a bit of a delicacy. They were very tasty and I liked the brand of blue cheese that they used. The pizza was good. They use cup and char pepperoni and the sauce is a little sweeter which I like. There was a stinger pizza as well as one with chicken and pickles which is a delicious and interesting combination. The sausage they use is an odd squiggly shape but just as tasty so no griping. Considering that all this food traveled from Alden to downtown, it held up in its integrity and was a great birthday lunch. Truth be told, the sweet 16 girl works at this pizzeria so I would like to think maybe they gave her a little break on pricing. My only negative comment, and this is on most pizzerias these days, is that nobody seems to give out celery with chicken wings anymore. There were baby carrots but where is the celery? Thanks Town Line for a job well done.

We ordered here last night when we got back to our room at Darien Lake. We ordered a large pizza an double order of chicken wings, an order of chicken tenders and finally a Taco . Pizza was good and had allot of toppings on it. Sauce had great flavour, little sweet with hint of basil. Crust was a little under cooked for my liking but had a great texture to it. Wings were some of biggest wings I've seen! Great value for the price! Chicken fingers were huge!

If you like to go to town on cute Line Dancers (male or female, or both simultaneously), then this place is for you. Alden is a rootin' tootin' Line Dancin' kinda place y'all. Y'all'd never believe how country a lil' ol' village right on outside lil' ol' Buff'lo could be, y'all. Well I'm exaggerating but this is a nice friendly pizzeria that doesn't serve slices after lunch time. It's pretty popular with the locals of Alden. When I went here at lunch time and got a slice, it was pretty average. Average for Buffalo Pizza, which is actually really good for anywhere else. If you're in Alden it's well worth a try (and try La Paloma too). It's well priced under $2.50 and most notably, the teenybopper girl who was serving was the friendliest, bubbliest, most energetic server in the history of villages inspired by country music and maximum security prisons. Sure you might find another slice in another "town" somewhere down the "line", but in the meantime, stop here and give this one a try.

Pizza is good sometimes but it's very inconsistent. Biggest problem is it's undercooked. Wings have good flavor but rubbery.

We didn't have a car, but we had the WEGO pass, so we took the bus to the Bed and Breakfast stop and walked 13 minutes through the neighborhood to get to RG Kitchen. The owner is super friendly and kind. While we were there, several customers came in and you could tell they were regulars by the way they greeted each other warmly. It's definitely a good sign when the locals love the food. My daughters both wanted the chicken shwarma items, but we added the beef donair after reading something on the wall about the Halifax donair being a Canadian thing. Did I mention we were tourists? The chicken shwarma dishes were delicious and flavorful. The salad that came with the plate had a light dressing, and for me, it had a unique slightly-sweet taste. The fries were perfectly fried, and the hummus and pickles finished out the plate. The beef was also delicious. I preferred the chicken but my daughter preferred the beef. Like the salad, the rice had a slightly sweet hint to it - I've never tasted something like this and enjoyed its unique subtle taste. All the flavors of the dishes came together beautifully. When I asked my older daughter what her favorite thing was about our trip to Niagara Falls, she said the food!

Finally got the chance to try Bratts Hill for dinner and eat inside, and I was honestly blown away…read more From the outside, you would never expect such a beautiful interior. The space is intimate with a bar, cozy seating, warm lighting, and a great vibe. They had the garage door open, we caught a beautiful breeze, and even got a view of the fireworks that night. The staff was welcoming, the music was great, and the overall energy of the place was unmatched. We started with the saltfish fritters and lamb ribs. The fritters had a nice crunch with a flavorful filling and paired really well with the sauce they came with. But those lamb ribs... easily the highlight for me. I don't eat pork and haven't had ribs in years, so this was such a treat. They were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The pickled cabbage on the side added the perfect balance. I could've ordered 10 plates of those and been happy. The oxtail ragu continued to raise the bar. A lot of places have you searching for the meat, but this was loaded with actual oxtail, almost more meat than pasta. You can tell this food is made with care. The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect ending. Warm spices, ice cream, and toffee [or butterscotch?] drizzle came together beautifully. It wasn't overly sweet, and I finished it before my friend could even get a bite. The chef even came out to introduce himself, and we had a great conversation. They also ended the meal with warm lavender hand towels, which was such a thoughtful touch. I already liked Bratts Hill, but dining in took it to another level. 10/10.

We all decided on something different and dessert was an absolute must. I wasn't the hungriet, I decided on lamb ribs , a side or rice and peas with gravy, the salt fish balls and for dessert I opted for the Brulee. I also tasted the toffee pudding. The ambiance was marvelous. The restaurant was packed and the wait staff was doing the absolute best. One of the cooks, Chris came out and chatted with us at the end of the night. He was eager to hear about our experience and expressed to us how sorry he was for the long waits. He mentioned Chef Darian being on Chef Ramsay's show and how that has made business pick up. The food was delicious , the flavors were authentic and I would definitely go back for another great meal. The restaurant was very clean and cozy.
