Vegan buffalo tofu, delicious! Sunglasses for scale--huge bowl!! I got three meals out of this
    Laura M.

The vegan buffalo tofu is my go-to here! It's one of those things that we come specifically to East Aurora to eat. I'm not sure what they do to this tofu but it's sooo good, it's little tiny bite size pieces but also a firm delicious texture. It also has some crushed chips mixed in, you can have this as a bowl or in a wrap. They have the seating that faces out the windows (and regular tables too) which is great for people watching right on that Main Street. The food here is food you feel good about eating. Its clean and fresh and delicious! Highly recommend!!

The Easy Caprese salad is my go to. Always fresh and tastes amazing! Parking can be difficult on the main road, but there's parking conveniently behind the building.

Stopped in quick while running some errands in EA and saw on here that they had a purple PB&J protein smoothie and decided i needed to try it. I asked the girl working the register what the most popular options were and she said that the PB&J and chunky monkey were probably the most popular. Those were the two I happened to be considering so I decided to go with the PB&J since it was esthetically pleasing LOL. I'm so glad I did because it was delicious! Would definitely order again. Hoping to stop back here again soon.

We've made a new season's resolution to take care of our bodies this spring, and set out for a six mile hike to be followed by a late lunch. Or moreso an early dinner, because it's 3 in the afternoon, and the only person in this restaurant is the guy that is working there. We had the option to order online for pickup, but instead opted to mask up and go inside. The wall is covered in plants, which was a nice continuation of our afternoon frolic, and it leads up to a Subway type station with ingredients all gathered into the countertop. Except this place is cooler, because they have more options, and the bowls are full on stuff your gut meals, rather than paltry salads when you deprive yourself of bread for the sake of sparing a few calories. I'm not going to say this is a diet place. Not in the sense one thinks anyway, with cutting calories. They care more about giving you real, wholesome ingredients and nurturing the body. I felt zen eating, which is a laugh, given the fact that we had taken the meal to go, in convenient, recyclable containers and a paper sack, due to Covid and ended up eating roadside by a pile of brush in the middle of nowhere. (The park was full with a dog show, and frankly, I was being too stingy to share my bowl with any rogue puppers.) As I held my bowl up for the beauty shot, I realized how big it really was. I had watched the guy dole out overflowing scoops, multiple scoops of the ingredients I had selected from the create your own board. Had I not emptied my tummy tank, I don't think I would have been able to finish, and even starting with a ravenous appetite, the last few bites filled me to the brim. It's perhaps better split into two portions, if you can find someone that agrees on what belongs in a grain bowl. Me and my mate agreed on one single thing: corn. He said it harkened him back to when he would grab an ear of corn out of his buddy's field and eat it straight off the cob. It was fresh enough to hear the bite. I chose a base of quinoa, as I got snubbed by a recent visit to another bowl eatery (not to point any fingers in Pie o Mine's direction) and was pleased with the portion and flavor. My mate went for the wild rice, and said it was pretty standard. For my add ins, I went for the onion, just enough to announce its presence without taking over the show and sweet potato. It was cubed, and while it held shape in the bowl, it beautifully mushes under pressure from the tongue. My mate went for tomatoes, which were halves of grape variety, deskinned chickpeas and fresh mozzarella. The guy gave him an entire ball of it, shredding the delectable cheese throughout it. For my upcharged protein, I went for falafel. He gave me four nuggets, crumbling them. It made for a better overall mix, allowing the flavor to disperse throughout the bowl. The falafel had a consistency of cornbread, and was seasoned well. In fact, the entire dish was, without any additional seasoning needed, which is a relief given that I forwent any kind of dressing. My mate opted for a very fair portion of roasted chicken, which he said was standard. The wildcard star of his dish was actually the curry carrot dressing that he took a chance on. He described it as a mild spice that doesn't let you forget it is there. I declined to try it, because carrots are nasty. But he's entitled to his opinion, because everyone can find their own thing that they like here. It covers a lot of ground and doesn't skimp on giving you something worth your money. I'd encourage people to go for the non-cliche salad fillers to really bang their buck, but I'd trust this place to keep it fresh with just about anything. (Also my mate really wanted to emphasize that there are all equal bites in these bowls, and I forgot to mention it until now, but he was really proud of that line, so I'm including it now. He's right. They're good. Buy them.)

Whenever I'm in East Aurora I stop and have a salad at Homegrown Kitchen. The salads are fresh and made to order. There's plenty of seating, plants, and overall a nice place.

I've recently had to start a paleo/ anti-inflammatory diet and it is really tough to find restaurants using clean ingredients, homegrown kitchen is one that fits the bill!! The two boys working today we're very nice and helpful. We got the raspberry beret smoothie and the pad Thai salad. The raspberry beret was phenomenal, all healthy ingredients (even dark chocolate!) and its flavor is very dynamic and not one note like most smoothies, get one!! The pad Thai salad was decent, a good size, but was just a little lackluster and it only came with a handful of shrimp and that was the best part of the salad, next time I'll get something else. Still thankful this place is a healthy option!

I had the Farm Fresh Salad and the Peaches and Cream smoothie. Everything was fresh and delicious. What really wowed me was how understanding they were of my dietary restrictions and how they made suggestions based on what I could and could not have. The salads are large- definitely enough to fill you up! On top of everything being delicious- they have games! The big table has different puzzles and games to play. We challenged each other in tic tac toe and tried to complete the link puzzles. Very relaxing atmosphere. They accept credit cards. You can either park in the street or behind the building there is a huge parking lot with an alleyway to cut to the front.

Walking into the restaurant immediately brought over a sense of calm. The exposed wood design with hanging plants and a friendly counter staff will have me coming back for more. The food was delicious, they gave out generous portions and I felt content knowing that I put something healthy into my body.

Solid salad but it didn't really excite me with high quality ingredients or originality. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

So, I was ready for some chicken wings for my first meal home! We were initially going to go to BarBill, but it was over an hour wait. The service was spot on and dining wasn't it too loud and nice and spacious. Super clean too! Can't wait to come back!!! PS, wings were so spot on, I hollered back to the guys in the kitchen to give em kudos. Their response... "Because they're made with love!" You could tell they were! Cheers!

That corn dip is a real game changer. My father-in-law asked for a second one, and I understand why. It has great flavor. If you don't order the tacos, at least order the corn dip as an appetizer. I also got a maple Manhattan. Normally I'm not a Manhattan girl, and it was a Monday when we went, so I wasn't completely on my A-game, and I was thinking a maple old fashioned sounded great. The moment I said Manhattan, I thought, "Shoot, I ordered the wrong thing." I also didn't correct myself. I'm glad I didn't. That was a very palatable drink. I highly recommend it. Service was great.
