Blackened Grouper Sandwich with Caprese Salad
    Daniel H.

Absolute first class restaurant that gets it and just does it the right way ! Lunch on the patio (make A rez) was so nice. Beautiful day overlooking Vidler's and we had a wonderful server (shame on me for not remembering her name). Started with.a glass of wine for my guest and I had one of the best espresso martinis ever. I had the chopped salad - with chicken - huge portion and the peppercorn dressing is either homemade or close to it. My guest had a blackened grouper sandwich that he said was better than ones he's had in Florida. Mike the owner mingles and checks on the guests a rarity - and is personable and takes the time to chat and ask how your lunch is. My only regret is I'm going back to my home in AZ and would love a Rick's there!!!

    Seafood Risotto

Inside is gorgeous, I didn't feel too crowded which is always a plus in these smaller places. It's an upscale look. The service was ok, nothing over the top, but not bad. The food was great. We got a couple of appetizers that were both good. Stuffed banana peppers, and the crab cakes. The crab cakes were made with lots of crab which is good to see. Albeit it's only 2 cakes, and for a party of 5 we had to cut them up to split them. Their salads are large, easily could be your whole meal if you wanted. The seafood risotto was great. A little on the salty side, but definitely great. Lots of lobster pieces throughout. I was a fan. Would definitely come back in the future.

Birthday dinner for my wife. Rick's on Main it is... this place completely amazes me everytime we go there. Quality and quantity are fantastic. Large portions cooked to perfection! Stuffed banana peppers were phenomenal. She had the Steak Gorgonzola pasta which was great. I went with the Garlic & herb ribeye. Steak was out of this world. Done medium to absolute perfection. Horseradish mashed potatoes were very unique, not to much to overpower the potatoes but just enough to get a hint of it. Cassada cake for dessert was the perfect finishing touch. Service was amazing as always. Consider here for great meal or to celebrate a special occassion. Reservations a must, always busy.

Bone in strip steak with truffle chip potatoes and Brussels

I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and I was pleased with my experience. Parking was difficult, I made reservations and everything and I had no idea the restaurant included valet! That was disappointing. Don't make my mistake!!! The place is gardened up really nice and there are lanterns and lights all over the outside. I ordered the pepper dip - YUM! It got a little messy because I had to rip the bread bowl apart to really eat it, so that was the only criticism I could give there. Then I had the bone-in steak with the truffle chips. I was really pleased with everything. I didn't even up eating much of my steak that night because I was stuffed from the pepper dip, but it served as great leftovers. The friend I went to dinner with was also pleased with her meal.

Ambience five stars The servers were friendly and attentive. The food looked spectacular and tasted... OK. This is a high-end restaurant and I was really expecting a little more The food was definitely not bad but at the price point I was expecting something out of the ordinary. I had Chicken Milanese which was a Panko coated chicken breast cooked nice and crispy and topped with greens and a balsamic glaze. The problem was they basically put a salad on top of the chicken and none of the balsamic flavoring made it to the chicken. It gave me the feeling of a very classy chicken tender. Again, not a bad experience, but for the price point, I was expecting more.

I always love Rick's on main. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday before walking around the town. Got seated right away at a bar table. We ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich and the steak sandwich. I love that you can choose your side- fries, sweet potato fries, tom/moz salad, soup. We both got the jalapeño popper soup- everything was delish!!

5* food and service MOIST grouper sandwich; grouper was a huge fillet, perfectly prepared. I requested it mildly seasoned, not blackened or Cajun. I substituted a Brioche bun which was delicious but a little messier to eat. I disliked the citrus dressing, so I'm glad i requested it on the side. I appreciate their willingness to let me make changes to the dishes. Enjoyed a side salad and liked the balsamic vinegrette which i requested on the side. Would have considered ordering dessert if there were a non-chocolate option.

Rick's is one of our favorite restaurants, if not our very favorite! The service is always great and the food is delicious every time. Those gnocchi were probably the best I've ever had - light and fluffy and oh so tasty! The dip was okay, probably wouldn't opt for that again. Matt's steak was really good. We met here and spent our anniversary here, probably will continue to do so because we love the location, the ambiance, the service, and the food!! Can't do better than Rick's!

Visited to celebrate my Wife's Birthday. Great drinks and food. Wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff!

Beet salad - didn't even need the dressing, there was so much flavor with the veggies and Gorgonzola crumbles
    Laura G.

Great for business dinners. Attentive service with frequent check-backs and knowledgable staff. The beet salad is a great way to start your meal. You don't even need the dressing. Also, love the bread basket with the sweet, creamy butter for the warm rolls. They know how to do steak! Can't go wrong with their filet. Marble brownie is more cakey than fudgy. I would recommend ordering one of their other desserts - cakes, cheesecake.

Celebrated our 11th anniversary here and this place was amazing! The service was incredible drinks were consistently filled and we were constantly checked on by our server(Jill V). She was very pleasant and gave us an ample amount of time to figure out what we wanted because the Wife was undecided lol The food was very delicious and made to perfection, everything came out right on time which we enjoyed so much! We sat upstairs and even then the ambiance was very nice. Very calm quiet and lightly lit if that makes any sense lol. Overall we had a great experience! Definitely looking forward to coming back and enjoying a night out again! #IMAKEITHAPPEN

    Pork belly

I absolutely loved the tuna mango appetizer, I don't remember what it was called but it was a special. The tostadas have a little kick but are yummy and the crispy ravioli was very good. I wasn't as into the pork belly as the others, but ultimately delicious food and complimentary bread. The ambience here is nice as well, with a more casual cozy bar area and a bit fancier room inside and upstairs. The patio is lovely as well, and I hope to try one of their igloos in the winter.

This was my third time over many years that I have dined at Rick's. We had a gift card that needed to be used and thought using it to celebrate 5 months untol we get married was the perfect opportunity. I had a black walnut old fashioned. Bery flavorful. I also got the Boston bibb salad, which was so good and all the items in the salad melded well together flavor wise. Phil got the beet salad and enjoyed it. We split the cowboy steak and it waa wonderful. The perfect size for 2 people. I dont know how one person can eat 24 ounces of steak. We finished the meal off with a spumoni coated in a layer of chocolate. A very decadent and delightful meal. The service was great.

Disappointed. Heavy sauced entrees, some of the tenderloin tips were not edible. Probably won't be back. High prices for mediocre meals.

Not going to lie, it's nearly impossible to sit through a lacrosse game while smelling burgers from this place the entire time. We came by on a Sunday and took advantage of their kids' meal special: $5 including a drink, which is a really solid deal. We ordered burgers (split with my fellow burger lover) and chicken fingers for two of the kids, and the food definitely hit the spot after a long day when everyone was starving. The burgers were decent, though I would have loved slightly larger patties and a few more topping option. I'm all about an over-the-top handheld, so maybe that's just me. My only real disappointment was the fry portion size; I must have been spoiled on my first visit when my meal came with an overload of fries. One of my favorite features is the patio, especially during nicer weather. Service was good, and I appreciated the little outdoor station stocked with condiments and water, which was a thoughtful touch for patio diners. Overall, it's a convenient spot to grab a casual meal before or after games, especially if you're already at the rink.

She kept checking in and making sure we didn't need anything. I love seeing old buildings repurposed.

Undercooked - couldn't pick up a slice without it falling apart. It was okay flavor, would describe as a saucy, not-sweet sauce pizza.

Modernized yet still traditionally styled decor and pictures of the place throughout the years welcomed us in. Another door was a takeout that seemed pretty busy at 4pm on a Saturday. Plenty of parking in this quaint village as well as the parking lot. Warmly greeted and quickly seated with a reservation we made on Open table minutes before we each decided on the Feast with chicken parm, lasagna, and Fettuccini Alfredo. Large portions of each and the Alfredo was more like Cacio e Pepe so cheesy and flavorful. Lasagna was perfect blend or ricotta and sausage like I grew up with, and the chicken parm was tender and the batter held well seasoned flavors. The starters were the caesar salad perfect homemade dressing, and pasta fagioli a tad cool but so good I gobbled it up. Soft fluffy rolls are served with oil and seasoning to tide you over while you wait. Service was impeccable perfect time check for happiness with food, drink refills, and how we were doing as we slowed knowing to go containers would be needed. I highly recommend! One thing we don't talk enough about is that East Aurora is incredibly walkable. The intersection of Elm street and Oakwood is like NYC Times Square. The place is bustling. The parking is horrendous, and yet they all come. Before we set out on our journey, we spent a few minutes ordering online. It took our large group 10 minutes to walk down to Left Coast Taco, and our food was ready as we walked in the front door. There were plenty seats available outside in the sun on this very hot day, so we chose to walk back to our house two blocks away. The interior featured a very busy bar, as well as a few tables, all of which were filled with hungry patrons. By the time we got home to our pool-side cabanas, we were sufficiently starving and ready to consume all that we had bought. I had the birria taco on a crispy corn taco shell. Very flavorful with a tastydipping sauce. Very delicious, and I would definitely order that again. Let me just say the burritos were enormous. It felt like a Weight Watchers snack than a treat. The elote soup was thick with crema, and spiced with chili, but it was cool on arrival.
