Lobster roll Mp
Kristen A.

Not sure if ordering from new vendors. The taste and quality in the past two months has sadly diminished. I've tried two completely different meals, the Korean bowl and now the lobster roll. Korean, the flavor was decent but the meat was very chewy and tough. Lobster roll lacked sweetness and seemed quite boring . Presentation was good as well as friendly service!

Stopped by Fresh Catch Poke and tried the açaí bowl--really good! Super fresh fruit, great texture, and not overly sweet. Everything tasted super fresh and felt like a perfect light and refreshing option.

Poke Bowl with Tuna

Ok love Fresh Catch, love how fresh and delicious their ingredients are but they need more sauce options. The one ginger sauce I had was extremely spicy I could not tolerate more than 0.5 mL of it. Please expand that sauce menu. Ambiance in there is great and service is always good.

Connecticut Lobster Roll (Warm) - melted butter with hot sauce made it out-of-this world!
Laura G.

I've been craving lobster rolls for years, so finally jumped on the opportunity to get one at Fresh Catch. I went with Connecticut style roll and loved the touch of hot sauce added to the melted butter. It came with Old Bay seasoned chips and some mac salad, both of which were tasty sides I just wish I would have been able to use my points (finally made it to $5 off) and my birthday bonus at the same time. It took me seemingly forever to earn the $5 off, so when the cashier told me she could only use the bday discount, I was annoyed, because the $5 was expiring the next day and my bday bonus wasn't done until a few weeks later. Oh well, less lobster roll for me.

Flaming Tuna bowl, SteakTeriyaki bowl, and a Connecticut lobster roll

We discovered that we could use our Indepent Health Extras card at this place, so we stopped by to try a few of their dishes. We ordered the Flaming Tuna bowl, steak teriyaki bowl, and a Connecticut style lobster roll. Well, heres the good and the bad. The ingredients in the case all look fresh, and there are many options to choose from when you make your own bowl. Let's start out with the tuna bowl. It was excellent and very filling with a large portion of fresh, spicy tuna. The steak bowl was pretty good. I enjoyed the flavors, but the steak was a bit tough. I will try the chicken version next time. The lobster roll. Ugh. It was not good at all. The roll was overcooked, dried out, and almost burnt. The lobster itself was tough, with little flavor and dry. The sauce that came with it was more vinegar tasting than butter, and it didn't help the dish at all. I was so looking forward to the lobster, but it was inedible. I tried to at least eat the lobster out of the roll, but it wasn't worth the calories. I will try the place again for the tuna bowl, but I'll definitely skip the other items, and I definitely won't suggest the lobster roll to anyone else.

Ceviche Poke with Organic Cold Pressed Juice

First time at this establishment & I was very happy! There was lots of options to chose from & everything was fresh. There is ample amount of parking & the atmosphere inside was very bright, clean, spacious & youthful. At first I was a little hesitant on what to get but the employee reassured me that if I had any questions or concerns, I can always test try different options beforehand. I decided to go with the ceviche poke bowl which contained lots of enriched delicious ingredients like: scallops/shrimp citrus-marinated seafood, jasmine rice, spring mix, edamame, pineapple, cucumber, bean sprouts, green onion, carrots, sesame seeds, shredded coconut, & lemon basil vinaigrette. I was blown away by the quality & taste of this poke bowl. It was delicious, nutritious & light so it did not make me feel heavy or regretful after finishing it. Moreover, the two employees were very kind, patient & attentive to all my requests. They offer many dairy free & gluten free options & set out to make everyone's bowls perfect so the customer can have a great experience. I really appreciate Fresh Catch Poke & you have earned my respect, I will most definitely come back in the near future & try out some more bowls! Thanks :)

Very fresh, light and delicious. My daughter has been asking to try Poke Bowls at this restaurant. So a few girlfriends in tow, we headed over to try them! Each girl got a different bowl, creating their own bowl with different choices of proteins, sauces and toppings. I chose the Aloha Bowl. Easy choice since the ingredients are already selected for you in the right combination and flavors. The açaí bowl looked incredible! One of the girls got it and was raving about it all the way home! Yum! For three poke bowls, one açaí bowl and drinks, the tab was around $72.00. Not a cheap eats type of restaurant. Yet, unique, high quality and very fresh ingredients that are healthy and prepared nicely. I'm sure we will be back! And oh, the decor is very uplifting. Simple, light-filled, modern and green - love the greenery!

Found this spot on Yelp when we were looking for a lunch option (that wasn't typical fast food). Servings were generous. I will say the spicy tuna lacked flavor on its own. They had cauliflower rice but it was an up charge. The large poke bowl is more than enough for two people to share if you can agree on your ingredients. Parking is in a lot next door.

New Seafood Market

When planning our home alone New Years Eve dinner this year we decided it would include seafood. So when we heard that Fresh Catch had opened their new Seafood Market in their restaurant we knew we had to check it out! We had decided on lobster tail and ordered ahead to pick up two 8 oz. tails. Well after getting there we also got a large Alaskan King Crab tail. How could I resist! Both were reasonably price and tasted delicious. All the other seafood looked so nice and fresh. Will need to check that out on another visit. Naturally since we were there we walked over to check out the bowls. We got the Flying Salmon Bowl and the FlamingTuna Bowl. Both were good but I preferred the tuna. It had a nice spicy kick that added enough flavor without being overpowering. Though both had ingredients I liked, so next time will go with the make your own bowl option. Was already a great restaurant and the seafood market adds another dimension. 21-1

Shrimp Poke Bowl
Benjamin P.

Wow, never have I ever tasted so many different flavors and textures in my mouth hole. I recently ate a shrimp bowl. To start off, these were no baby shrimp. Some of them had enough meat to be fooled for crab meat. It even tasted like fine crab too. And I have no idea what the veggies were in the bowl but my mouth could barely handle it. Crunchiness with a soft rice base. And the dressing was amazing. Nice and spicy covering over a beautiful green bowl. The coloring was beautiful. Truly a very unique, healthy and delicious eat.

Ask the Community - Fresh Catch Poke

I saw in an article in Step Out Buffalo that they offer a picnic basket called a seafood basket but can't find it on their website. Anyone know anything about it?

Are the fish options all raw? Or do you have a choice between cooked and raw?

Our shrimp and chicken is cooked, the Hawaiian ahi, salmon and Hawaiian special are all raw, served traditional poké style.

This spot has always been a favorite of mine. It really makes the one end of Main Street in Williamsville. We started out with the pretzels and elote dip. The chips for the elote were great too and the dip was a great way to start the meal. The pretzels were soft and chewy and I really enjoyed the mustard they used. I couldn't decide on the main part of my dinner and kept going back between a pizza and a burger. Ended up going with the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza and I was very happy with the choice. The pizza had some heat but nothing too crazy. The wood fire pizza itself was cooked perfectly. Very good and I will definitely be back for more of their pizzas. I also ended up getting a piece of cheesecake to take home and it was great! Very sweet and creamy. I have never seen a rectangle piece of cheesecake before, but maybe that's the secret to why it was so good. We will definitely be back for more here. We love coming here with friends and it is a good spot for dinner or a double date.

Well, they were on the list of Yelp Buffalo's top places to eat in 2025, so of course we had to give them a try. The space itself is really beautiful. Nestled alongside a river with a cabinesque vibe. Stone exterior, with wood floors, exposed brick, and large fermentation tanks on the interior. It's really quite cozy. As for food, our table shared one of their tasty dips - the elote one to be exact. Elote is delicious on its own, but in dip form with pickled red onions, fire! I could eat an entire bucket of this stuff. When it came to my main course I ordered what I call the basic girl dinner, a caesar salad and fries... but here I went with the tater tots because I was told they are heavenly. My salad was a good portion size and exactly what you want when you order a caesar. As for the tots, the amount you get is insane and they were in fact, fried to a crispy perfection. They definitely hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I can see why Yelpers in Buffalo rate this spot so high. If I lived nearby I would definitely be a frequent flyer.

Acropolis did not disappoint one bit!…read more The menu has the traditional theme of Greek restaurants of breakfast all day, lunch all day, dinner all day! My friend ordered the falafel burger and Greek potatoes and he said they were great. But don't be like my friend; the potatoes are very soft and there's a crazy amount of butter in their bowl and not once, but twice, he picked one up with his fork and it broke on his lap, getting butter everywhere! So make sure you eat them right over the bowl before you ruin your pants and shirt haha I ordered the applewood smoked bacon burger. You get your choice of cheese and I think they had a good five options. I ordered it medium but I will say it was more close to well-done. It didn't bother me and also it was still very very juicy so no biggie. It was well-flavored and stacked with bacon and I nice siracha mayo, as well as the usual tomato, onion, and lettuce. These handhelds come with standard ripple potato chips but you can have other options for an up charge (fries, potatoes, soup, salad...) Seating is indoor and outdoor. I enjoyed sitting outside. Eggplant Caprese 9/10 Very crispy eggplant breading. The eggplant itself was cooked good. There was also more eggplant than there was Mozz and tomato- so I would suggest adding another couple slices to balance out every bite. I'd add a touch more balsamic too. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. Between the hard shell and the sweet potato crisps, there was too much crunch for me. I did like the pairing of the pineapple with the BBQ sauce.

Our server was Hannah and she is absolutely a 5 stars gem! Super nice and down to earth. We ordered several dishes: 1) Eggplant Caprese: deep fried eggplant, tomato, basil chiffonade, and balsamic drizzle. The eggplant is breaded and spiced nicely. It was served hot. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night! It's a great place to take a date and there are tables for 4 or you can eat at the bar as well. All around great ambience, our server is awesome and the food ono!!
