The decor is simple and reminds me of the other "customize to your convenience" venues. The menu is almost overwhelming - between salads, bowls, wraps, soups, snacks, even desserts... My server (did not get their name) completed my salad from start to finish and kindly tolerated the brain fart I had when I couldn't figure out the difference between the Earth Bowl (only 16 g protein) vs the Earth Bowl with Roasted Chicken (a whopping 40 g protein). The Earth Bowl with Roasted Chicken has arugula, shredded kale (a nice touch versus huge, unwieldy chunks), quinoa, roasted beets, roasted sweet potatoes, sliced apples, Tajin-spiced pumpkin seeds, chicken, feta and homemade balsamic vinaigrette. It probably could have used more dressing than the server added, because it's a little heavy with the chicken and sweet potatoes, but the earthiness comes through, I feel satisfied and I would definitely order again. read more

Came in opening weekend to try this place out and we really enjoyed it! The line was insanely long, but it was worth it. I ordered the Peruvian Chicken Market Plate which is Lundberg Basmati Rice, Black Lentils, Braised Chicken, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Cacique Grated Cotija, Roasted Corn, Overnight Pickled Onions, Avocado Mash, Furikake Shake. They were out of sweet potatoes so they swabbed it for apples. I truly loved this plate! The sauce was amazing and made everything taste so fresh and delicious! I've ordered here 3 times: First time, everything was excellent. I got the roasted chicken(with homemade balsamic) with rice and lentils and the sweet potatoes with mikes hot honey goat cheese. Absolutely loved the dressing! The meal didn't look like anything special but the taste was awesome! Figured this would be my new regular spot... Next time around, I got the same meal but I swapped for crispy chicken and honey mustard. I went to pick up and they were out of the sweet potatoes so I swapped for Buffalo cauliflower. It was good .. but my lentils AND rice were hard! The rice was hard in a way that it was sitting out and crusty! I barely got any dressing. I had ordered 40 minutes prior to closing and made a note to myself not to eat there at that time again. Lastly, I ordered the same thing but with ceaser dressing. Once again my lentils were hard and now my sweet potatoes were burned! It was literally blackened to the eyesight. With some pieces hard from being so burned. Why would you even serve this? Stopped in on our whirlwind of weather, this past Saturday 4/18/26, to celebrate their grand opening. As part of their grand opening, warm bowls and salads were $5. From the moment I walked in , I knew it was a welcoming, excellent healthy addition to our Buffalo area. I'm soooo happy to have another salad place in Buffalo! If you've been to cava before, this is pretty similar. The line was out the door when I arrived but seemed to be moving quickly. I ordered on their app which I highly recommend because I could skip the line and just pick up my order on the side. Parking was decent even with the long line because of the large parking lot next to it. I did the create your own warm bowl and chicken noodle soup. I really appreciate the wide variety of fresh ingredients they offer. The chicken noodle soup was a great classic take. The ingredients were pretty fresh except I was a bit disappointed in the crispy chicken which was pretty cold and soggy. I took one star off just because of my crispy chicken. Also, I do find it to be pretty pricey. The price starts going up quickly when you do the create your own bowl. I paid close to $20 for it and felt like compared to the other salad places you can't get as many toppings without racking up the price. There are several meatless options and meat alternatives such as Impossible Chicken. Carnivores and Herbivores alike will have no problem finding something good to eat. Being a meat eater, I wanted to try the Impossible Chicken to see how the flavor and texture was. I would swear I was eating freshly cooked, deliciously seasoned chicken. This Just Salad location just opened about a mile from our house. Actually never heard of them but was anxious to try them out. We decided to try a few different dishes. I ordered the Cilantro Lime Chicken Bowl and the Mezza Crunch salad. My husband ordered the Build Your Own market plate with impossible chicken and a Protein Power salad. All were excellent!! Ordered a salad for delivery, which they got wrong. I asked for buttermilk ranch dressing and they sent some green liquid that didn't look good. I asked for no quinoa and there was quinoa in it.
