The young man made it but spilled some on the floor of the stand. He went to clean it up and wiped it up with a paper towel. The paper towel he pulled back was completely black. Then he finished making my drink, putting the lid on, and put the straw in touching it. Unfortunately he did not wash his hands after cleaning up. Honestly I was super thirsty and tried the drink and it was disgusting even without the cleanliness concerns.

This trip there was an avocado toast on the specials menu that I dream about!! It had the most delicious peaches sliced on top of the avocados and was drizzled with honey. The base was a sweetened ricotta and it was topped with toasted almonds!! I can only pray that it's on the menu again next time I go there. Yes it was that good ! I also had a blended coffee drink that was refreshing and delicious! The staff is always delightful and efficient and it's simply a fun place to be around other people. Headed to the counter and showed the app, they said have a seat we'll get your bag ready. The place is cute inside kinda homey with little kiosk with stuff for sale. She brought my bag over and had a cup for coffee. She let me to the coffee station & I had the coffee of the day. I normally don't drink flavored coffee but it was real good, a nutty and creamy flavor combined. My bag had a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and slice of blueberry crumble pie. The table by me had sandwiches that looked good, will definitely be back.

For those who have never been, there's two entry points; the front (from the street), is wheelchair friendly, while the back (from the parking lot) has some stairs. There are two single bathrooms available in this place. If you're dining in, you can order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. Regardless you need to order at the counter anyway. They always have a great selection of baked goods and coffee, plus specialty drinks on rotation. They offer light breakfast and lunch if you don't want just a coffee and pastry. They sell gifts and ground/bean coffee along with flavored syrups. For this particular trip, I ventured in to get lavender syrup (Torani). I treated myself to a specialty rotating drink (Hansel and Gretel frozen coffee - frozen coffee with gingerbread and white chocolate). I also purchased a blueberry muffin and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin (also a rotation dessert specialty). All were excellent, as par for course here. I don't hear at all but speak well, so the kind lady at the front grabbed a pad and writing utensil to communicate with me, which was very helpful and so we both were on the same page. It was very appreciated. Another reason I love this place, they're so accommodating

And this place…read moredid not change my mind about bowls but I will share my review: I ordered the build your own bowl with: Jasmine Rice, Sesame Shoyu Sauce, Spicy Faroe Island Salmon, Krab Salad, Fried Onions, Sweet Potato, Green Onion, and Shrimp. I want to say everything was of the freshest quality, with the exception of the "krab" ... it wasn't bad but it was very dry. The salmon I didn't care for because I am big on texture and for me, it wasn't cooked enough ... but there was nothing wrong with it at all, it's just a preference. Everything else I enjoyed. Again, not a bowl person here but if I were, I would definitely come here again and just swap out the things I didn't like. For reference: think chipotle, only seafood, but it's cleaner and not crowded. They do have other things to buy here if you want to bring home a pack of anchovies and such. You can dine in, take out, or get it delivered.
